    This is actually what CCMA employees advises most of the complainants. They make it seem like you won't win and your best shot is ask for settlement, that's what those commissioners tell most employees

      Correct. One commissioner forced me to take a settlement when I wanted reinstatement.

    I am affraid to employ a domestic, garden or any full time worker due to the treatment by the CCMA, as well as frustrations with the UIF. From the start I felt like the guilty party, without options (and opportunity to present my side) and have no other choice than to settle (enforced legal fees for arbitration are too high). In the end the CCMA also caused the employee to lose money (they settled for less than if the absconding worker settled with me directly). If there are similar cases to mine, CCMA are contributing to unemployment and poverty, due to the trauma of being bullied as a small scale employer.

    How many cases the ccma has against eskom nd eskom rotek industries nd what r the rulings if not yet what makes the cases take long? I will say it depends at ccma which company u r fighting bt if u against big companies forget it u will run till ur pockets r dry

    These days employers ask if u part of a union. Ppl gatvol of unions foreigners skip the queue to get a job. Unions destroy to much so people act like this

    My guetion if we run the business in competition with employer the employer he's got the right to dismiss the employee

    Ccma must think employers take atvanghes of it thats why they can dismiss so easy open your eyes ccma labour courtis not a but money its about the truth get out of your hole do the thing right me arein the same boat 12 years new company came and dismiss work for overstrand clean record
