Another great day for you Doc! I’m sure hoping we aren’t being teased with some cooler temps only to drag more heat in behind. My favorite time of the year is approaching!!! With hunting, football, and cooler weather, I enjoy the Fall crappie bite more than any other time of the year. Hope to see you soon on the water very soon. ✌️❤️🎣
Man another great video!!! I am in Missouri mainly fish some small local lakes but try and get down to Harry S. Truman Lake Reservoir at least 2 or 3 times a month. I was mainly using 1/16th Oz jig heads with inch and a half to 2" baby shad soft baits up until about a week ago. They got to where they would follow the jig all the way back to the boat without committing to actually biting it... I switched to 1/32nd Oz jig heads and smaller dagger style jigs (about half the size). That was the ticket, I have been absolutely slamming them the last 4 times I've been out!!! Always enjoy your videos, Great stuff!!!
Man, that drives me nuts when they follow it like that. It want be long, when the water temp comes down, they will eat it!! Good luck and TIGHT LINES!!
Hey, I do it to decrease the action. When you observe a Minnow in an aquarium, you don't see their tail moving around very much. Cutting the tail makes it more finesse. However, sometimes they really like the increased tail action, especially, when they are really chasing baits. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
Hey, thanks for watching! I pinch off the tail to make the profile smaller and to decrease the action. If the fish are more aggressive or want to chase a bait, I leave the tail on, or switch to a larger bait, or paddle tail. Summertime is typically tougher, and I go smaller. Hopefully, the bite will start to pick up with cooler weather!! TIGHT LINES!!
Nice video
Thanks, Matt!! www.WildWilleysOCD.com

Went this morning, saw very few fish even around the brushpiles
The surface temp should be coming down. They will be ready to eat real soon!! Tight lines! See you on the water!!
Good video, you wore them out😊
Thanks, man!! Appreciate it
Do you use anchor mode on your trolling motor while you're on a brush pile? How do you stay in position?
I have a Minn Kota with SpotLock. It is very helpful, especially in the wind. It is a game changer!!
Nice video. Why do you cut the tails short? Isn't it supposed to give the lure action?

How’d you do during this early cold front?
Hey, I went Saturday and caught a bunch of them!! They were starting to eat!!
Ok why do you pinch the tail off your jigs? I enjoy your channel!
