- The Last Agni Kai is one of the most tragic scenes in Avatar: The Last Airbender. The scene is actually split up into two, with the violin opening featuring in the first half. For my arrangement I decided to add in some Avatar and Korra motifs in the opening! For the second half I used some MIDI percussion to capture the all important taikos and bass drums from the original score. The final part of The Last Agni Kai (which most people don't cover) accompanies Azula acting absolutely deranged, so I made sure to capture that in my cover! This song is of course composed by the amazing @jeremyzuckermanmusic.
Special thanks to @isabelleaiviolin for featuring in my video! She did an amazing job, please follow her on Instagram as well: / isabelleaiviolin

I’m surprised this didn’t get more views, your rendition was arguably better than the show’s. The integration of the main Avatar theme weaving with that somber intro really showed that this wasn’t just Aang’s fight, but Zuko’s too, because while Aang was fighting to save the World from the Fire Nation in the form of Ozai, Zuko was fighting to save the Fire Nation from itself in the form of Azula. That’s what makes her tragedy so much worse, her thrashing and crying and screaming is the embodiment of what the soul of the Fire Nation had become - something broken. It’s like having to put down a rabid animal: there’s no victory or trophy or glory, just a sad thing that has to happen which you approach with extreme caution. You captured that pain and gravitas so elegantly, thank you for your work and dedication.
Absolutely yes! This is amazing! It brings back the feels of watching that scene for the first time again! The blue and orange fire clashing together and creating these art like images and portraying the pained brother-and-sister relationship Zuko and Azula have. Also the dramatic change when you start to think whether Zuko might or might not be alive after he saved Katara.
Love this a lot! Thank you for this arrangement! It brings back a lot of feelings :)
Ladies and gentlemen, he's finally done it!
This is all the feelings in one song . Loss , love , pain , sadness , all together
This is it. I finally have found it!
finally, after decade of waiting, somebody did this😢😢😢
this version is giving me goosebumps
Man, I was feeling emotional right from the jump and then that touch of the Korra motif just made my eyes well up! An incredible arrangement with a gorgeous performance! You both are incredibly talented.
Perhaps the only cello cover I can see myself actually playing right now

This is the best version I’ve seen and you should be proud.

Please may I have the music sheet
At first it also sounded like Jinora's Light.. just me??
I don’t know if you will reply but please give me the sheet music or the tabs for violin
I was searching for this. I mean it's so difficult to get the intro right AND the main theme as well.
None of the extended versions of the original manage to get rid of the flame sound effect. And none of the covers get the claping sticks right. Besides you. It sounded perfect from you. Until... the end.
The last note is far too powerfull, it's too much agressive. It is supposed to be aggressive, but not that much. I'm used to the original soundtrack, and I barely kept listening the very last part as it was too high.
I think you are near perfection. Just don't stop before it, I beg you.
Stunning! Such a powerful piece
