I saw a guy reading the newspaper yesterday while driving I'm not kidding the whole paper was laid out on the steering wheel. Few weeks ago we saw a guy shaving while driving and you know there's always the putting on makeup but looking down for a text is just unacceptable I think two things need to happen every car needs to come with the little straw that you blow in to make sure you're not passed the legal limit of alcohol, and when you're in a car whoever's the owner of the car their phone stop the texting ability after 3 mph
Greg did sneak out and borrowed a friend's car. Carol found out from that friend's mother and told Mike. Mike went ballistic and extended Greg's punishment, thus making him miss the concert and setting up the "Exact Words" narrative for the rest of the episode.🤣

I think he was right, too. The show takes for granted that it was somehow sneaky of Greg to argue that point, but I've always agreed with him on this - and I'm usually one to back adults over kids. Mike and Carol have full authority to ground him from diving their vehicles, but he's still a licensed driver and has every right to drive other vehicles if he can access them. This is like a store banning a customer, then getting mad that he was still able to do business at another establishment.

ABSOLUTELY this is how I was raised. TRADITIONAL old fashioned two parent parenting. THAT is HOW I was raised, too. Great parenting in this show.

I believe Bobby was helping Greg in the long run because if Bobby would have kept the almost crashed incident a secret, he would have continued to drive carelessly thus caused an accident. So hopefully Mike was teaching Greg a lesson by grounding him, and Greg will know not to ever do it again!
I accidently ratted my older brother when we were kids. He had stitches in his knee, and we were doing hurdles. I told my folks all about the hurdles later that day, and when they realized all the stitches had ripped out, it was heck to pay.
Ok this was kinda BS by the parents. 1) they were not hurt, 2) the car was fine, 3) this really put Bobby into a bad spot with Greg. They should have just explained to Greg the importance of paying attention, and then warned him that if he damaged the car in the future by his own fault for doing this, he would be responsible for the expense to repair - that is if he was even alive!
