You know I wish there were non human zombies, it seemed like common sense that the headcrabs would try to attack and zombify anything that moves including the vorts
There is a hl2 mod called Entropy zero 2 and it has zombified vorts, vorts are too intelligent so they know to avoid headcrabs. it would be like being taken out by a chicken.
@@HamguyBacon People who shouldn't been zombified get zombified all the time, guard, hecu, combine, hevs when they have a group to back them up and a helmet, yet still they get crabbed
@@RustysRevenge yes but the vorts have psionic abilities, so they really shouldn't be easily captured.
There were zombie aliens but removed in development for whatever reason

Yep! I once theorized of a truly 2nd person game where you and a teammate play coop, but you see through his eyes while moving your character. Might really just be unplayable though... imagine trying to aim.

Yep, in the OG game, it has eyes on the side of it's head, kinda hard to see, but they're there. Weirdly in HL2 and the HD models for 1, the eyes are gone.
They have three each along the upper front legs. If you google it, there are images. It's pretty creepy lol

Watching these videos reminds me of a old half-life mod that really never took off.. Partially due to terrible balancing... Swarm? I think it was called... It had a class system, and you could basically play as the humans from Half-Life 1, or the Aliens from Half-Life 1.. Yes it was a team based game, and it had objectives.. For the most part anyone play aliens would tend to gravitate to the Garg ( was baby garg ) but you will see sometimes people playing as a Controller or Slave alien.. For the human side you would basically only see assassins or soldiers, no one would play the other classes...
I only tried playing it for a week and that was it... For the most part people where just not playing it... Not sure why I remember the damn thing as well as I do.
