- An introduction to the fundamental principles of rolling and falling safely and easily. The video is designed both for beginners and as a guide for instructors. Here the art is shown in simple steps, from first day practice to rolling forward and backwards. Proper study should enable one to survive a throw or the loss of balance whether in a violent confrontation or a simple accidental fall. Practice gently. Never exceed your skill, develop it!
I am breathless sensei, every problem I have faced trying to get Ukemi and Kaiten right are history thanks to your video. I'm a beginner in this wonderful path of Aikido, but I found myself in the tatami. Arigatōgozai ma s Sensei.
Excellent demonstration for beginner rolls! Thank you!
Thank you for the very clear steps, explanation, and presentation. I've been struggling to teach some student and your video gave me a great idea. I'll be sure to use them on my next class.
Thank you very much sir, you give me a detail explanation of the rolling technic. I had a lot of questions and you give me answer on them, and especially on the drop on hard floor, roll from standing position, how to put your head when you are doing a roll etc. Thank you very much for your explanation.
Very smooth gradual progression to learn the rolls for beginners. Will use it for learning my front roll (still struggle with high-knee front roll). Thank you.
Arigatōgozai mas Sensei for the wonderful video

Some how I can't stop watching her flip over. It's mesmerizing...
I thought the rolls are for the thrown attacker; not for the Aikidoka.
