We did this 6 years ago. (We are now 67 & 70). When we got back to our camper commando crawled on the floor to the bed ! It was one of our hardest climbs but we'll worth it. The Dream Time story of this area is really good & you can see how it relates to the Bluff &, the weather. Now your knees will be buggered like ours 😂
Thanks Sandra, we will have to look up that story. Usually we take the time to learn those things when we are there but we were pressed for time with the road closure
Massive day hike Sue, good job. Nigel, thanks for the awesome drone footage. Agree with good protein food, love my bake beans 😄. Have a great Sunday and thank you for another great breakfast vlog
What can I say but WOW! Thanks so much to going to the effort to produce this wonderful video, including the drone footage. Wow again - you lucky buggers. I know what it's like to suffer like you did Sue, but in the end, it's so worth it, right? I've almost caught up with the episodes.
thanks so much David, it was a great hike, well worth the discomfort of not being able to walk for a few days afterwards. Hope you enjoy our videos going forward too!
Thanks Roberta, I hey definitely helped, even if one was a bit broken and wouldn’t extend all the way! PS my son is at the summer camp in PA now, and loving it!
What a cracker of a video.... Poor Sue was clearly suffering. I hate walks that incorporate lots of steps too, Sue, so I felt your pain.... (Not really as I was watching) When you kissed the van, I nearly fell off my chair. Thanks so much.... I apologise for laughing at your suffering. Tassie has heaps of great day walks, so when you get here, you will be in walk heaven. Cheers.
I’m glad you got a laugh Peter!! It’s not the first time I’ve got back from a tough adventure and hugged the van!! And yes, we are looking forward to Tassie soon!
Wow. What a hike. I was relieved to see you get back to the van. Having intermittent trouble with my knees I felt for you. I hope you got to have a good rest up after that track. Awesome job. Love the sunset too. Some spectacular scenery with some suitable music as well. 😊🤗💖 PS Loved the drone footage. You were so fortunate with the weather. 😀
Thank you Lynne! We were very lucky, and yes, as you’ll see in the next video we did have a bit of a rest afterwards. I struggled to walk for a few days!!
Hahaha loved this episode, even loved the fact that you did this hike, so us viewers don't have to lol! My knees are stuffed so bravo Sue for completing with "dickey knees", mine gave out in Gundabooka Nat Park yesterday, so rest day today for me lol😊
Hats off to you both. Sue, you had me in fits on your return. Congrats on making it 😊 I got about half way up before pulling the pin due to knee and feet issues, I would have pushed myself to get to the top but would definitely have needed a helicopter to get out. 😅 It was good to see through your eyes and know it is challenging 😁
Fantastic and well done guys especially you Sue for not giving in,I reckon going downhill after that ascent took some doing and I know I wouldn't be able to do that hike but was with you all the way 😉
Brilliant views from the top. Who built the stairs. I wonder if they walked up with the materials every day or did they have a Nigel to help them. Drone work again second to none and the music is fantastic. You guys are great film makers.
Good to see you guys eating baked beans. Here almost nobody eats them, they think that they are disgusting and it's the one English food that is so easy to buy in England and here you have to search in the supermarket for them. Great video again. Keep up the good work.
We love you Sue!! We felt for you on that hike 😅💛 Had a giggle with you..too relatable!
Bloody hell you guys, that hike was HARD!! So glad I did it though. Clearly I need to get fit again

Yes we could barely walk for days either!! Thanks for watching 🧡

Cheers L, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we love our food!! Thanks for watching
Great job guys, not for the faint hearted….epic achievement n great views. Well done 🤙🏽
It’s a great hike Geoff, have you done it?

Crazy hike with epic views. Glad to see you had hiking poles. That's probably what got you through.
Thanks Roberta, I hey definitely helped, even if one was a bit broken and wouldn’t extend all the way!

@@nigelandsueadventures That’s exactly what I would have expected. It would have been tough. 🤗
@@LynneCarey tough but well worth it!!
@@nigelandsueadventures absolutely. And like you said some people enjoy watching to do it. That includes me. 😊

Yeah coming down was brutal. Much harder than going up. The steps are a killer. Take it easy Lee 🧡
Well done guys , a great effort and such beautiful footage xx
Thank you Lisa! We got lucky with the weather to be able to fly the drone.

Very challenging! We had been warned but I don’t think I expected it to be as tough as it was. Glad we made it though
I don’t know how you both did it!!! You made to the top - that’s an amazing hike!!! Grt effort!!!!
Thanks Julieanne, it was incredible. Of course we could barely walk for the next few days!!
Fantastic and well done guys especially you Sue for not giving in,I reckon going downhill after that ascent took some doing and I know I wouldn't be able to do that hike but was with you all the way 😉
Cheers Vinietta! What we didn’t show is how we were struggling to walk the next few days. Actually there might be a few snippets in the next movie.
Well done on the hike 🙌
Cheers guys! It was a tough one, and took us a few days to get over it too!!
@@nigelandsueadventures it certainly looked it!
Great video guys xx
Thanks Amanda!! We were sore for days though!!

Cheers Geoffo, that means a lot. And yeah not sure about the building of the stairs, but I would assume they had heli support.

Great video again. Keep up the good work.
Baked beans are the best!! An essential part of a big breakfast. Thanks for watching Geoffo
Congratulations...my daughter is doing it this week.
I've done mt augustus....and believe me it was tough.
I'll do bluff knoll one day..
Yeah, its a tough one for sure. All those stairs ugh
Your so much tougher than me. ❤and yes I like watching through your eyes😂😂😂😂
Thank you Patrick. I wasn’t feeling too touch that day, but glad to have made it up and back down again
wow.
Thanks Tim! Have you done this hike?
@@nigelandsueadventures no. Too gruelling for me. 😁
When l went to the Stirling Ranges, it was bloody freezing and wind chill, and we never got out of the kombi. 😢
That’s a pity! You missed a great hike
Nigels fake "spicy face" 😂😂
Such a clown!! Thanks for watching Dani
