Hi! I made a whimsical beat with my Casio SA-46 portable keyboard. Yes, it is quite awesome. Chopping up the drum sample was definitely my favorite part. No, wait, adding the cowbell takes the cake. Cake sounds good right now.

I still have a Casio SA-10 from my childhood, back in the 90s I liked it's general lofi sound quality.
With a DAW your not completely tied down with the keyboard's raw sounds. If I was listening to
this blind I would probably never guess it's a Casio SA-46.

Yes indeed! I use Ableton Live because it is my favorite and I'm swift with the keyboard shortcuts. Any DAW will do!

hey i need help. Planning on getting this for my girlfriend. She has never played a music keyboard but she really wants do. So i am on a really tight budget and thinking of getting this, but i feel like this might be like a too childish keyboard? Or to you think she will like it? Also how long does it last with batteries since like i said i am on suuuper tight budget this xmas so can't afford the power cable thingy. Thanks in advance

Could you please explain how did you connect it physically to pc? I need to know which cables I need. Is it a simple audio in audio out connection or do I need a device in between my laptop and keyboard? I just found out that I can do this and have the same model as you so please please help!
You just need aux cable and then connect your keyboard to the PC or laptop .that's it

No MIDI, just Audio. In this video, I am recording the audio output of the keyboard directly to the input of the the audio interface, which then sends it to the DAW.

You can use many different types of digital audio workstations. Personally, I use Ableton Live for audio & Davinci Resolve for video.

what I do not like about it is that I can't upgrade it. What I like about it is the tones: synth is good, koto is good, piano is wonderful, string is superb, and many sandra sounds. Oh I have the 76. Oh that is why. Haharharha.

The Casio SA-46 does not support MIDI. There are so many MIDI keyboards to choose from all kinds of price ranges. This is the one I am looking to get amzn.to/2QzdcNh
