So yeah, 10 Unpopular Pretty Cure Opinions. I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while & I think now’s the right time to make this. Let me make a few things clear, before we begin with this. 1. These are my honest & personal opinions. So even if you disagree with what I say, it’s 100% fine. But if what I say really gets under your skin, the dislike button is on the right so you won’t forget. 2. This is not a Top 10. I’m sure some of y’all know this, but this is for those who don’t. So without further ado, let’s jump right into it.

Here's my biggest unpopular opinions:
1.Aoi/Cure Gelato is the BEST cure made by toei so far,she had a smooth plotline with her passion to sing/perform and her design(both Cure and citizen form) is beautiful,Gelato shake is a good designed attack,and her wing form and super form are okay, I like how isn't a classic smart,student consul blue cure as well, in conclusion Aoi/Cure Gelato is a very underrated character and deverese more love
2.When it comes to designs,the Kira Kira squad easily beat all the other cures,from the colors to the skirts their designs are just beatiful
3.Cure Parfiet is NOT a green cure,her hair is pink,her dress is mosty light blue,and all her green parts are just small tints like a earring or a small scrap on her chest

I hate Glitter Force. It ruined my favorite Pretty Cure season. Kira Kira has great character development. That’s something that Pretty Cure needs even more than physical fights. Also Splash Star is an improvement from Max Heart.
Just for you to know, glitter force was the way that I got into orecure in the first place, before I even realized it existed as well with doki doki, though I can recognize and understand the problems
My unpopular opinion:
1. Cure Marine is super Annoying and takes all the HeartCatch girls spotlight
2. Cure Parfait is super Annoying and takes all the Kira Kira girls spotlight
3. Green Cures are amazing and look beautiful ( not including that Parfait though)
4. Splash Star should be a continuation of Max Heart
5. Doki Doki only interesting character is Cure Ace

Ichika/Whip and Megumi/Lovely are not Mary Sue, I'm pretty sure Mana/Heart is the most Mary Sue(but I still like her).
I don't like Kira Kira Precure A La Mode much, but one thing I like in this season is the villains(look at Bibury shes my fav) and the characters plot are interresting (especially Akira/Chocolat).
Despite me not being too familiar with the Pretty Cure series, I was surprised to hear that Kirakira Precure got trashed on. It was the first season I saw during high school and I fell in love with it. Out of all that I watched afterward (Suite Precure, some of Hugtto, Healin Good, and the original), that season delivered a special charm that the others couldn't.
Ichika became my favorite Precure as well. As I rewatched it during college, I grew to appreciate her cuteness, goofiness, determination, and her compassion, especially toward Julio. Her saving him will always be my favorite scene.
I probably don't have much authority to say these things since I'm not really part of the community, but I just wanted to express my opinions. I'm happy I discovered this franchise and I hope to see more of it in the future.
I don't have much unpopular opinions on Precure (Or Pretty Cure if you prefer calling that), but i do agree on Kira Kira Precure A La Mode. Personally, i was surprised with the decent character developments in the season, except maybe Akira who didn't have that much as the others, but the point is that i was surprised with how the season developed the characters pretty well compared to the last season, Mahou Tsukai Precure. Maybe not one of my favourite seasons, but i think it's a good show on it's own and i do wish more people to give Kira Kira a fair chance.
1. I can understand where you're coming from. TBF I think Milky could fall under both categories.
2. I need to watch Glitter Force... Looks like the Voice acting is actually top notch!
3. Haven't seen enough of Suite, though I plan to watch it fully.
4. I need to watch more of Kirakira! Also I agree about the physical combat thing, it's execution.
5. Haven't seen Happiness Charge. Also... Lovely has a butt punch? Oh dear looks like Cure Blossom has a run for her money!

Unpopular opinion: There needs to be an entire season based off of ballet.
My unpopular opinions:
1- I don't like that a season of Pretty Cure (I mean Hugtto) becomes an All Stars 2.0, the same for the movie.
2- I don't like Chiyu / Cure Fontaine.
3- I'll just say this, if you like Smile Pretty Cure, why don't you like Kira Kira A la mode?
4- I don't like the fact that Pretty Cure has romantic relationships.
5- Glitter Force has to continue so that the Pretty Cure franchise expands to more people, as it did with me.
6- Cure Mofurun is AWESOME
7- Mirai and Megumi are the WORST PINK CURES ever made.
8- I prefer the duets of Cure Bloom and Cure Egret, Cure Blossom and Cure Marine, or Cure Melody and Cure Rhythm before the duet of Cure Black and Cure White
9- Futari Wa Pretty Cure Splash Star is better than the original Futari Wa.
10- Cure Miracle, Cure Princess, Cure Lovely, Cure Tomorrow and Shiny Luminous are THE WORST CURES MADE BY TOEI (No, really, I love Hugtan, but what need was there to turn her into a Cure of the future IF I NEVER REMEMBER THAT UNTIL THEY SAY IT? )
11- And finally, I don't want male Cures.

About Kira Kira. I agree with you somewhat. It's definatly not in my top 5 seasons but it's not as terrible as it is make out to be. When I first started it I thought that the Cures would not pack a punch due to the "distance fighting" thing but they actualy both deal and take a lot of damage so that is good. The story itself was pretty good I like Elysio as the final villan taking away feelings forever but the Cures are kinda mid. Custard and Gelato just feel kinda generic they didn't do too much to stand out from their acretype. Chocolate is fine nothing to say about her. Macaron has a cool conflict kinda falls flat but I think that is also intentional, I think she would have came out of it better if the others were also a bit better. Parfait is kinda of a faill if I have to be honest, her conflict with Pikarion was great but it got resolved in a pretty haf-assed way and she doesn't have much other than that. Whip is a bit boring for a lead but she definatly has her strong points, what hurts her the most is that she doesn't have any personal stakes with the villans,.but yeh she is a pretty good leader.

My unpopular opinion
I think flora gets too much attention. And I find her a bit annoying because even though other characters got character development and all but Flora got too much attention in my opinion. And people say dokidoki precure is a Mana show.

I don't like flora because her character is just a girl with delium in wouldnt mind it as much if it was treat as a fantasy but they treat it as something she could achieve and the fact she wouldn't stop saying that she wanted to be a princess as well

Yeah. Not only her dream is un achievable,it's just stupid if she dreams the same thing after becoming an adult. She is exactly like most of the pink cures. They have less personality
To be honest I consider Cure Milky a green cure because of the fact Cure Cosmo I consider a blue cure .
I think that glitter force is good too, but on BOTH seasons. I think what people are making it seem like how it is good or not, is when comparing it to precure all the time, and not as it's own thing
Totally respect your opinions even the ones I don’t agree with, but I just wanted to correct one thing the term six ranger originated from the Japanese series super sentai’s English adaptation mighty Morphin Power Rangers with Tommy the green ranger who was evil intern good so the term sixth ranger does not necessarily mean someone is supposed to remain neutral. It originally started from someone who is evil, and then turned good witch, pretty sure often does, but I think the best examples of it is cure scarlet but I do agree cure macaroon was awesome and smart
I already know where the Sixth Ranger trope comes from & to be fair, I never mention where it comes from, I only mentioned what it takes to be a Sixth Ranger. And while I do agree that the term doesn't always mean someone should remain neutral, in Pretty Cure's case, being evil & then turning good wasn't. Shiny Luminous & Milky Rose are good examples of that, since neither of them started out as neutral or evil.
Now I can't really speak on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, since I haven't seen the show. So I can't agree or disagree with you on the Sixth Ranger in that show. Even though I already know where the the term originated from, I don't speak on the Super Sentai series at all.

I love watching these unpopular opinion videos if you don't mind I would like to share a couple of mine
1. I hate modern all stars it feels like a massive cash grab now
2. Glitter force while it's not my thing I'm not against its existence
3. Mana ain't no Mary sue she just nice and that's why people like her
4. I hate the way they dealt with harukas characters in go princess I feel I was being treat like an idiot that entire season with the princess thing and I do think go princess is one of the worst seasons because of this
5. Kirakira has the best character development of any season
6. Suite would of been better with 3 cures. (Sorry I know you like muse)
7. Luminous is the best 6th ranger as she doesn't come across as a Mary sue the rest seem to know everything right away Cosmo parfait and ace being the worst out of them all (I like these characters I just don't like their introduction)
8. Fresh is a really good season one of my favourites
9. I don't like shipping the cures espescally with older characters ie. Coco x nozomi harry x homare I also don't like shipping cures with other cures they are underage

I quite enjoyed the story and characters of Kira Kira a lot, but I just have a general problem with the theming.
I just don't like the idea of mixing animals and food, it just sounds... gross honestly, and that always stood in my way of enjoying this season more. (Also I still believe the designs would be better without the tails and ears.)
The fighting choreography between Red and Lovely was really stylish, no question, but I still prefer the whole group fighting, I think. Although that may have not really worked with the narrative.
Something that's always confuses me is why they thought dogs and chocolates where a good mix lol

But I'm also pretty sure that Chocolate's animal was chosen to compliment Macaron's.
My opinons about your opinions, lol:
1. Well, Milky being green is kinda of a fact, also if u said at least that Milky is teal or cyan, I would agree more, but I dont see her as blue, she just doesnt look full blue for me. And I'm okay with her being a green cure, and I like that she is one. Also Cosmo is the blue cure of the season xD she doesnt look enough rainbow to be a rainbow cure for real.
2. I dont like much Glitter Force, cuz they cut episodes, also I never watched it so, whatever for me xD
3. I enjoy Muse, but I dont like how late she appeared in the series, she barely got time to bond with the other girls. But I like her, tho I cant say that I love her. Cosmo is awesome!
4. Kira Kira is a pretty good season, it have flaws like any other season, but I'm completely fine with it being in someone's top 5. This season has amazing villains, Elisio, Julio and Bibury! Also Macaron!! And Gelato, they're amazing! And the season did a good job in developing such a big cast! Also physical fights, I mean that doesnt bother me that much. I think MahoGirls was much worse in terms of fighting scenes.
5. Sure Lovely is pretty strong, but I dont care much for her character, sorry, imo she was too bland and Princess would be a way better protag than her. Sorry again! I know she's your fave :)
6. Hmm, HapCha is actually one of my least fave seasons, just felt to messy and .. I dont even know what to say, but if I would describe HapCha would be "a big mess", I just didnt care much for the characters, Honey is my fave from this season, but still she isnt that great. Red was meeh imo.
7. I dont like that idea of boys cures, Pretty Cures are meant to be girls and I like that! Boys already have so much space in the super hero media, leave the girls have their space too xD
Dont get me wrong, I dont hate Infini, actually I'm okay with him, I just dont want a male cure being a main character.
8. I love Macherie, but I kinda agree with u. But she was so fun and relatable to watch for me, that I didnt care much about the plot holes. And HUGtto has a lot of plot holes.
9. I love Rikka with Ira, tbh I dont really care for Rikka x Mana, I dont dislike the idea, I just dont think about it.
10. Well, Kira Kira has so many great characters that Ichika just fades into the background, she isnt that interesting imo. I dont hate or dislike her, she's just okay to me. Yukari, Himari, Aoi, Ciel, Bibury, Julio, Elisio.. These characters were all much more interesting than her, so yeah she's kinda forgettable. She's just another regular pink cure, with not much new, imo.

Unpopular opinion : cure heart has the most illogical hair style
Unpopular Opinions:
1. Doki Doki is one of the best Cure seasons and Mana is awesome. I find the characters to be all enjoyable were as most others I only really enjoy 1 or 2 usually despite apparently Mana hogging everything.
2. Heartcatch is not the greatest Precure season. If anything I find the flaws most people find in Doki Doki are just as prevalent in Heartcatch. Doki Doki is the Mana show? How about Heartcatch is the Marine and Blossom show since Sunshine doesn't appear till the 20's and Moonlight returns only after 30's
3. Futari Wa Precure (Excluding Max Heart) has better fights than Heartcatch. Sure the animation may be dated and it can affect the speed, but the fights felt more techinque based .
4. I agree with you on Emiru, more so though that her family life derailed her intial eccentric girl persona to just being the rich girl who's suffocated by her life that is used over and over.
5. Pre Ala Mode is a fun series and the fights get too much flak for being bad just because there is little melee.
6. Aoi did Emiru's character already but better. Not as in your face about it all the time. It was even balanced by Yukari giving her input as the other rich girl on the team in regards to interfering in upper class family affairs they had no clue of.
* This is more a change of opinion in regards to Pre Ala but I initially hated Yukari, finding her bland and generic, were as I loved Julio and found him awesome. But on a rewatch (Pre Ala was my first), I began to realize Julio wasn't so cool and was more bratty than Bibury. Yukari on the other hand I realized was more level headed than I gave her credit, especially after points 4. and 6.
Unpopular opinions (please dont get offended)
1. Kirara is overrated.
2. Color wars are pointless.
3. Manas not a mary sue
4. Dokidoki is the true anniversary series
5. Heartcatch is overrated

2. As someone who got into Precure via glitter force (specifically doki doki) I agree with this
3. I did like Cure Muse a lot, while I wouldn’t consider her my favorite, she’s far better then say, Finale, Ace, and Fortune
4. Kira Kira is one of my top Precure series, I loved the designs and I loved the humor
5. When it comes to power scaling I’m not the best, but I think compared to other cures such as Happy and Grace she’s not as strong
6. The animation was absolutely amazing, although I didn’t like how the others were sidelined
7. I’ve wanted a boy cure for so long so I absolutely love the idea
8. Ma’cheri is my third fav red cure so I’m gonna have to disagree, I found her more interesting then the usual villain to hero trope, it was nice to see something different, just wish they handled her better
9. I mean no offense by this but I 100% disagree, I despise Mana with a passion and Rikka being my favorite character in all of Precure. The reason I got into Precure was cause I remembered the Ira x Rikka ep from when I was little, and it’s been my favorite ship ever since.
10. I don’t really have much a opinion on this one as I enjoyed the others more then Ichika but she does deserve at least a bit of credit
Here are some of my unpopular opinions:
1. I hate Candy from Smile Precure, she's kinda annoying, she's my second least fav mascot just behind Fuwa. Fuwa is much more annoying tho.
2. Reika is a bit overrated tho I'm not saying I hate her, she's still pretty ok for me, but actually having a tranditional blue cure personality.
3. Heartcatch is overrated. It is still good but there are other seasons better than it.
4. Cure Sunshine is my favourite Precure in the whole franchise. (Dunno of this is count as unpopular tho XD
5. Cure Marine is cute, but also kinda annoying.
6. I actually like Cure Ace.
7. I hate Hugtto Precure. It's not that good, the characters are boring tho the plot is ok.
8. I hate Mana x Regina ship.
