- In today's video, I cover how to log back in to the PlayStation Network in the event your log in password was forgotten, simply by resetting it! Follow me in this quick tutorial as I walkthrough the steps and menus to request a password reset from your primary PS4 console. If this is a secondary PS4, or you are trying to sign on with your information on any other PlayStation, you can still reset your password by verifying your information and requesting it through that system.

I know you’re probably never going to see this considering the video is three years old, but I’m desperate. When it sends me to the reset password page it asks me for a date of birth, fine, but every single time I put the date of birth in, it says “The connection to the server has timed out”. I know it isn’t a problem with me putting in the date of birth, because I tried every possible birthday from January first 1900 all the way up to today (June eighth 2024) so if you or anyone who reads this I am literally begging you for help, I have so many great memories on the PS4 and I don’t want to lose them.
I can't help I'm trying to fix this myself you could try contacting customer support I tried but somehow my serial number and player I'd don't match or something but it might work for you though it will take a long time

When i clicked on the "Sign In" tab after going to account management, it showed a screen where i could either scan a qr code or sign in manually. I clicked "sign in manually" and it took me to a screen where i could enter my password and email, but there was no button that said "forgot password" and instead,clicking triangle would say "can't sign in", so i clicked triangle and it sent an email to the automatically filled in email address. Why did it not show "forgot password" did they change their system?
There were applaud you for your enthusiasm, you still haven't got my PlayStation 4 unlocked. I lost my internet and want to turn to my Playstation back on it's asking for a four digit with numbers in order for me to get access to the PlayStation so that I could do what you said I'm locked out right now. When i try to reset my password it says that i need to write my date of birth. I logged in to EA and saw my DOB but psn says its wrong. Ive been stuck 48h now lol

I got an issue whenever I go through the process of changing the password once I input the new password it never works. It may be caused from the fact that the Email I sent the link to was not the same one but the same thing happened to the email I tried signing into PSN with.
