My problem is I have 2 step verification on my old account and it’s not sending the email to the email I put in and when I try to use a back up code on my other account it says valid code
I know you’re probably never going to see this considering the video is three years old, but I’m desperate. When it sends me to the reset password page it asks me for a date of birth, fine, but every single time I put the date of birth in, it says “The connection to the server has timed out”. I know it isn’t a problem with me putting in the date of birth, because I tried every possible birthday from January first 1900 all the way up to today (June eighth 2024) so if you or anyone who reads this I am literally begging you for help, I have so many great memories on the PS4 and I don’t want to lose them.
I can't help I'm trying to fix this myself you could try contacting customer support I tried but somehow my serial number and player I'd don't match or something but it might work for you though it will take a long time

I clicked "sign in manually" and it took me to a screen where i could enter my password and email, but there was no button that said "forgot password" and instead,clicking triangle would say "can't sign in", so i clicked triangle and it sent an email to the automatically filled in email address. Why did it not show "forgot password" did they change their system?
