An Pierlé is so underrated! This concert makes me question the “common” music we get to hear everywhere - like: music can be THIS much, THIS interesting, bold and intense.
Agreed! But I'm not too keen on her recent, much more jazzy direction. And she and her partner have said they're a bit fed up with rock pop. I think that's a shame.
Track list: 'As Sudden Tears Fall' - 'Kiss Me' at 05:52 - 'Here In The Woods' at 10:44 - 'Medusa' at 15:02 - 'Helium Sunset' at 20:38 - 'Build A Better Life' at 25:07 - 'Nobody's Fault' at 28:23 - 'Sorry' at 33:43.
I totally agree with you. I still liked the 'Arches' / 'Cluster' dyptic, but now she's moving further and further away from the 'pop/rock' excitement and that's a shame. Also, Koen turning to the saxophone, which I don't like at all as an instrument... It's not for me anymore! I hope to find her again one day...
Intriguing - that’s the word; full of beautiful dissonance and delicious manifold surprising taste
Beau!Artiste merveilleuse ,et orchestration magnifique!!!
Vraiment ravi de lire que vous appréciez An. Merci pour elle.

Maybe her BEST album :) So great, so intense with this orchestra

So dramatic, heavy yet fragile. Hard to beat a real acoustic orchestra as a soundscape to a lovely voice.
waoohh !!!
i prefer her earlier work. I have the cd of this as well.
