Dear Steve.. If you gonna show the best of 2023, you need to include every video of the year because so good is your channel... 👍👍👍👍👍 Happy new year to the Morris gang from Sweden..
Sitting here watching wearing my new SM engines hoodie my wife surprised me with for Christmas! Thanks for all the content from this last year and i hope for you all to have a bigger and better year in 2024. Keep up the great work!
Steve, the best thing I saw in your 2023 recap wasn't the cars, it wasn't the races, it was how nearly every event, moment, car, and laugh included you and Kyle. Not one single thing was just you, just him, or just a car or race. Whether or not you guys edited it that way I'm not sure, but it speaks loudly about the things you really value. The cars and races are just a means to an end, enjoying time and fun with your son. I lost my Dad in 2009, so I miss those days every day. Have a blessed new year Steve and family!
@stevemorrisracing Wow, I knew you had more behind the scenes, but that's a big family! Blessed man! I didn't think you'd see my comment, definitely not a reply. But Im glad you did. Sincerely, that's what I noticed in the '23 recap. You are having fun but doing so much with your son in nearly every scene/event/race when there are probably 1000 other guys that could be there with you helping and hanging out. The cars, races, tools, machines, hijinks, all that's fun! But to see it done for obviously more than just a passion and income makes it even better. We have three little ones. ALL GIRLS 😬!! They're 9, 5, and 2. The oldest used to "help" me with my GTO from the time she was a baby (safe distance of course) to when I totaled it when it broke loose badly on the 1-2 and happened too fast to correct. It's ok though, chipped tooth, no broken bones, walked away, felt lucky. There are plenty of other cars to build with them in the future! Have a safe and blessed new year to all the SME gang!!!
Old Cleeter got a beater, but the beater was a heater and the heater broke the meter, for Cleeter came to eat'er. Your engines are AMAZING. Love the content.
Thank you Sir for all the Videos and Education. I built many a Hot Motor in the Performance shop i worked at when younger. I loved my 74 Vega GT with the blown BB back in the day. Yes was street legal. I was doing 7 sec 1/4 back then with it. With what i know now and all the new stuff i can imagine what it could do now. Thanks again and may 2024 Bless you all
I'm not sure what back in the day for you was, but that on the street today would still put a smile on my face... Remember if you don't use it ya lose they say... take some time and do something KOOL! We would all love to see it!
You would think 3 hours would satisfied someone watching this video. But I think that I could listen to steve for hours on end. The more he talks the more I want to know. But anyways thank you Steve for all you do and your crew as well. NEXT TIME A 5 OR EVEN AN 8 HOUR MOVIE WOULD BE SO SATISFYING. LOL JUST KIDDIND LOL UNLESS YOU ARE UP FOR IT. LOL AGAIN THANKS.
Im met Steve Morris the same day he did the interview with Clark, Steve Morris and his family is awesome, cause his wife gave me a tour around the shop and told me about the employees and equipment around the shop, thanks
Mr. Morris, I have throughly enjoyed this encredible journey of education, emotion ,laughter ,and realizing that you are a inspiration. MY Mother had the exact same car as The Wagon sooo cool . Bless your family and friends and business. From the Sandhills of North Carolina. Randal Comer
Watched it from start to finish, over a few days of course, and enjoyed every minute! Although I've never made a pass, it sure feels like I have after watching this video. Great to see a self-made success, yes, I made it to the 2:30:30 mark..., who respects the supporting members of his team. Hoping 2024 brings you even MORris.
Steve Morris is living proof of the American Dream. This is exactly what is going to be taken from us if we don’t stand up and vote to protect the Constitution. God Bless you Steve and your beautiful family.
You are a smart individual in my opinion I have the same passion for engines as you always trying to learn and improve my knowledge on my passion. Building a 427ci SBC procharged 1000hp-1100hp .
Well good morning I woke up to you talking about nuts being blown off & had no clue what you were talking about ,as I couldn’t see the phones screen lol 😂
absolutely love the year in review. I completely enjoyed all the racing and tack that you shared with us this year and look forward to what you bring us in 2024. thank you and Happy New Year
Loved this 2-hour 52 minutes review of the year. SME rocks, and I love the education you have given me on boosted motors and drag-and-drive stuff. Kyle's screen presence has grown too. Thanks for the videos and have a Happy New Year.
Love watching your videos, you mention Hoosier tire i live 20 mins from where they are made. My mother lives in Muskegon i visit her couple times a year would love to see the shop, get a couple things, and shake your hand..
Cool too refresh my memory of what you showed us this year... enlightened would be a better term! Thank you for the education and fun! Looking forward to this years class's. Hope ya'll have a safe, prosperous, and blessed New Year! Ps... Sup Dewdawg? SDR Pps.... When's part 2 of this video drop, and more with the welder guru!!!!!
Steve on that piston and rod assembly for a 6nz cat , the crown is steel and cast with a web for the rist pin to go through. The skirt pin bores have grooves cut for snap rings .you slide the skirt on shove the rist pin through both parts lock the pin in with the snap ring. If that engine was 430 hp or less it would of had a full cast aluminum pistson with a steel instert on the top ring land. If that was an marine 800 + or automive 15.3 liter it would be a forged steel piston 475 - 1800 hp daily driver top rpm 2500 no issues. Pulling rigs run 32 to 3600
I'm a huge fan of Cleetus and it's amazing watching his channel grow and know you're apart of that. Just starting to dive into your content now and it's amazing. Hope you and your family had a great holiday season.
Love it!! But I’m telling you that guy welding! Dam. He still blows me away. He’s the man and no fat head and wants to help! The good old boys. Good luck trying to find people like that anymore. Nice work Steve and want to see Kyle toy see if is working.
When HAAS comes out, remember a square CNC is more important than a level to the earth CNC. Granite square on all axis, and the test bar for the spindle. Be good to see you get this CNC up and running.
For years us car people was stuck with what sh*tty tv networks thought we wanted - leading to garbage like "gas monkey garage" and celebrity b.s. car shows and fake shops and fake people. The last two years or so it has been amazing how many channels / creators have really come to embrace the youtube documentation/production. So many great channels with real people, real information, and real builds and a great variety of personality and information really show how out of touch conventional media companies are. Nothing is cooler than loading up the ol' youtubes and seeing new videos from the 40+ automotive channels I subscribe to with everything from in-depth tech like this and pete harrell's channel, builds from KSR, Sarah-n-tuned, Stay Tuned, and drift HQ, variety like on Cleetus and Finnegan - to import stuff like PFI, LZ, and Jimmy O, to top gear like content from Hagerty and throttle house. I think we are in the "golden age" of automotive lifestyle content - and it is all made by the real people who actually do the work, race the cars, and love what they do. So thanks to Steve and crew for really putting the work in to show us what you do and how you do it, it is awesome!
Thanks for the education and entertainment this year Morris Family I greatly appreciate it.
You've had a good year Steve. The lord has blessed you
I’ve got time to watch the full video tonight, just finished up one of your special valve covers, photos are in your email. Happy New Year!
