- My little Manfred! I wished I'd filmed my first lessons on him here 2 years ago when he could't even canter without loosing his head! It was then I decided I wouldn't try to do anything too fancy with Manny as he was more horse than I knew how to train without tuition and I couldn't afford the lessons we needed! A tiny bit of back story on Manny, I bought him as a 10yo from a dealer after seeing him jump 1.10 off an awful stride with a novice looking rider and fell in love! I then posted a picture of him to my social media and a friend of a friend messaged me and said he knew the horse! And that he had bought him as an unbroken 8yo and backed him before selling him on, he had said he was a quirky horse then! I then worked out I was his 7th home in just over a year and I've owned him ever since! Fast forward to today and I'd say I'm a better rider than I was when I bought him and have learned loads through producing Hattie and Charlie that I now feel a little more able to work on Manny a little bit, just to be clear he is the most amazing horse to hunt and hack he just finds schooling very difficult as he doesn't like to be put under too much pressure! Though the more he is learning and the stronger he gets the more accepting he is being of me asking him questions he doesn't always know the answers to!
I would LOVE to keep Manny and will do what I can to make this possible! I have applied for some sponsorship and have everything crossed that we get it so that I can afford to keep him at least for the season.
Thank you for watching

@ellahorses-1992 I have an ottb that has taken 4 years to figure out (dangerous aggressive!) and between some Steve Young Horsemanship techniques to calm his brain, ulcer meds (has Manny been checked?) and Smartpak Holistic CBD + Joint Pellets, we are finally on the way! 😀 The cbd might be good for Manny!
I love this horse!!! ❤❤ I think he might be the most talented one?? I know that he has been hard work, but don't sell him noe that it's starting to come together...... 😅😅 Imagine him at Badminton!!!
Ohh now then.. Badders 😍😍 now we're talking 😅 i do absolutely adore him and there's no doubt he's the most naturally able! Just gotta find those buttons! 🙏 thank you for watching xx
