I was once in a similar situation where you feel responsible for being a positive person a pillar of strength to someone whom you truly believes she deserves a better life and a different lifestyle. you become a good friend but dont want to take it any further than that because you met her in a situation you just wanna help her change her trajectory for another person to benefit but your conscience can never freely move on with her knowing her past at the same time you want her to succeed .
