That was awesome Mr. Ocean... In answer to your question, brother you make me smile in my heart... I love your videos, any video; you've eever made a video that was not intresting. Thank you for the amazing content from your beautiful city. Be well Mr. Ocean, looking forward to whatever you put on your awesome channel...✌️🔥💨🍻👍
Thank you, Lao Ocean! I need to do this soon. Maybe I’ll take the fam next week. Looks like they did a great job on that walking area. Lots of stairs. Yes? Hopefully it will stay safe and beautiful for the public to enjoy. 😊
I live in San Francisco, and I make an annual AMTRAK trip to beautiful Seattle, where I have several school friends. This year I was spent the first week of October wandering the wharf and all of the fun downtown places. I missed the actual opening of Overlook Walk, by a few days. However, I saw all of the workmen putting the final touches on it. I'll plan a return trip for the Spring. I always stay at the Edgewater Hotel ... so much fun ... and had always walked up Wall Street to get to Western, and Pike's Market. I'm looking forward to a complete exploration of this great looking new connection between the two areas.
Love this video...nice to see so much seating and such a great place to relax and enjoy the views, I don't think it looks plain at all, looks pristine to me , nice change from downtown, so I'll be going soon to check it out for myself. I was always able to go to the old aquarium for free with my Seattle Gold card, I hope it works with the new place.👍
We share the same favorite spot for coffee in the AM. That is, when I'm in town. It looks now, like a whole of great space for a morning coffee. I hope to check it out in person very soon. Always a fan of your walks, thanks!
Great video! I visited Seattle last month and walked through this area. It's a great addition to the city. So many excellent vantage points and beautiful views! I like that the concrete blends in with the colors of the water, sky, and skyline.
Sabaidee Lao Ocean guy. The waterfront looks wonderful and tourist friendly. Been watching your videos from time to time. Just finally subscribed. Enjoy your cafe where ever you are at. Thanks for sharing. Kob jhai..👍
Amazing trip into the big city! They have perfected the art of building skyscrapers there. So many cool-looking buildings. Awesome view and cool waterfront. Thanks for sharing a little slice of your world with us.
I am excited for new 4k walking videos recommended in my UA-cam! They always film when it is crowded with people who might as well be me, or they're wearing clothes that are trending! Buy it now!!!!!
They did a decent job getting the new construction to match the OG waterfront vibe. Minimalism and lots of wood accents. The skateboarders will go bonkers at this place haha.
I was part of the Glazier crew who did the glass canopy. It came out amazing!! Being out there in February right on the water...it was COLD AF 🥶🥶❄️❄️ 😂😂 it was worth it tho 💯
The second elevator was at the Overlook Cafe where you sat at the small orange table. You looked at the car entering the parking lot, the elevator was right to your right. Its not marked on that map you looked at for some reason. Its "on the other side" of the Alaska Way from the wharf.
I graduated high school Time to visit Seattle As a high school graduate with my high school diploma! Looking at every place I could work or live in Seattle as a high school graduate
(Additional comment) I think that the "other" elevator, from the Wharf to Pike's Market is at Lenore Street. I'm not absolutely sure about that, but it's in that area.
Dennis, this spring when you find mr drinking coffee on the overlook, you'll be my guest visiting the ocean pavilion, I'm a member, just waiting for better weather, see you then, I'll be looking for you, I'm the guy w/ cain ND KRAKEN BALL CAP
Update: so finally got to see this! (I mean I saw it before it was open but like I finally got to actually walk on it and stuff…) So the roller slide? I saw a kid go slow down it so I was like “ok. Let’s see how fast I can get this to go. So I just freaking full send yeeted (gosh my gen Z friends and fam are starting to rub off on me…) myself down that slide and the combination of the surprised look I had and the fire behind me from the speed my clearly heavier than this kid butt took on was enough to make my sissies crack up… love that they have all this and can’t wait to see pier 58 open up too!!
It looking better i usually walk to pike place market up first street because down there was so under construction i would walk back to the water taxi that way. It ironic that seattle hates san francisco so much but at the same time they so much a like. i mean san francisco had the emarcadero freeway that covered are water front but we had an earthquake that destroyed a section of the same kind of freeway in oakland so they took all of the remaining freeway of the type away and opened up the waterfront. Then seattle had to have it own earthquake and get it's freeway damage and teared down and the area redeveloped.
Resident here. Ok, so they made a big overpass. It's unfortunate they made it so ugly. Brutalist architecture is fine for penitentiaries, but why not make it at least not look so demoralizing?
Seattle 🌊 looks so spectacular.
Much thanks 🥰
my game plan for this spring, chilling w/ coffee and the view

You might want to move your microphone you sound like your going to pass out?
Looks great until the homeless a few blocks come in. Chain gonna get cut to shreds.
Homeless or call it what they really are, drug addicts. Anyways, they have security and it’s not open 24hrs. Hopefully they keep it under control.
@genxtechguy The activity probably won't pick up until after the upcoming winter. I am not in disagreement with you
Ads. No one wants to be in seattle
