The photography tips were really good. National Cherry blossom Festival sounds so fun!!!! Really cool how the community rallies around it!!! 1.5 million is so much.
This is one of the top things I want to do. The cherry blossoms in Washington D.C. is awesome!!! It is just too pretty. The time lapse was so pretty. This looks like it is the back drop of the movie!!! you have this down to a science. All those cherry blossoms by the Washington Monument is so beautiful. I'll have to refer back to this video when we do decide to go as a family. Washington D.C. was my wife and my first road trip together!!!!
Thank you so much! We took that time lapse early in the morning at sunrise. It was super cold but beautiful! This was the first time I saw the blooms at their peak. I usually see them a little after the peak.. Was quite blown away by how much they resemble floating clouds!
@@TravelandTrots I'm doing good.Thank you for asking!❤ Yes. It's been awhile cause my travelling schedule is not where it's used to be yet. Slowly coming back though.😊 Have a great day!💕
Excellent video! Nice tips and beautiful narration, will follow next time we go for Cherry Blossom! Here is the name of that cherry : Prunus Okame', Cherry Tree is one of the earliest bloomers of the Japanese Cherry Blossom trees, its medium pink petals open fully before the tree puts on its leaves.
We were going to go see the Cherry Blossom Festival in person this year but decided not too as many of the usual festival events were not happening due to the pandemic. But we are going next year. Thanks for showing us what it is like and giving us tips on where, when and how to see these blooms the best!
Oh yes, so many events were cancelled this year. Next year seems safer to see the blossoms. Glad you found the video useful! Thank you for commenting 👍
EXCELLENT work. A very romantic insider tip is the nighttime lantern tours led by National Park staff: Fewer tourists, little known facts and "secret" locations . Also, a rickshaw or walking trip around Haines Point at sunrise or sunset is a dream
Super movie, great job, thanks for sharing. I really like watching new and interesting places. You have an interesting channel, so I'm staying and watching. Big like, stay connected. I’m a new subscriber
Hi, I am planning to travel to Washington next year and I really want to see this beautiful trees at peak bloom! I read that the blossoms is from end March to beginning April but it can vary a lot. Wat is the website you said you can track their peak blossoms? Amazing videos and tips! Love the sunsets with the cherry blossoms! Thank you.
Hi Javier. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to watch my video. I would recommend following cherryblossomwatch.com/. I felt the predictions on the site are apt. I then mainly follow Instagram (hashtags and locations) to map out the peak bloom.
Different areas of DC bloom at different times. So March end to April second week is a wide time frame to explore. Even if you miss some of the initial blooms, there are many others that will bloom within a week or two. Also, the NPS official website is a good source of information.
Yeah they have blocked the street parking all around tidal basin. You’re best option would be in one of the paid parking garages a little away. Or come really early in the day.
Usually the blossoms are out in phases. Meaning you may see some trees in full bloom before March 22nd. Most of them will be in full bloom in that time fram (22nd to 25th). You may just have to walk a bit more or explore other areas than the main tidal basin.
I parked on the roadside next to Martin Luther memorial. It was some 5 am or something when I reached there, so there were spots and no traffic. For the rest of the spots, I was on foot. Everything was within a 4 mile walking radius from that parking point. It is really hard to find parking spots otherwise… so the earlier in the day, the better.
@@TravelandTrots thank friend!, love your voice in this video! The quality of the video is great!. I do enjoy it! I’m planning to travel DC this Apr to see cherry blossom and fly kite 😄

For this year 2022, they mentioned date from Mar 22 to 25. If I still go on Marc 20 Will I be able to see the blossom ??

Hi, would you please show me the parking for those places above. It’s really hard to find parking place in DC
