Thanks for this video. When I invite people to meet with me in Hubs, this is the first thing I send them to prepare for the meeting. It's so succinct and comprehensive.
Charming and insightful presentation, thank you!! I was just wondering, if there might be the possibility in the future to hold virtual conferences, art exhibitions etc. with a substantial higher number of users in one room... Are there any plans in that regard? This would be truly fantastic - especially during these times - for people like us working in culture and education... Thanks again!
Hi, I was really excited to use mozilla hub to host a Halloween party. It was really nice. These are the some problems I faced during the party 1. When I changed the scene inside the room some people got disconnected even though they had proper internet connection. 2. We were nearly 6 people in the room but had issues with sync. Maybe because of internet issues. 3. One time without any keypress the Avatar was moving automatically. 4. I wish the rotate option could have been better for the objects. With a mouse also it was hard to rotate to our desired position. Having a keyboard control to rotate could have been better. 5. The resizing of the objects was quite tricky. Holding shift, mouse click and scrolling was hard for me. Maybe having a resize option like volume option will be nice. Hopefully you'll change accordingly.
Thanks Shubham, we don't integrate with MS Teams at the moment. We do have an integration with Discord, and a beta version of a Slack bot. MS Teams integration is a feature that has been requested by other members of our community. I'll pass on your inquiry to our dev team!
Excited to start exploring this platform! I'm wondering if there's any possibility to place an object like a plane which renders real-time capture from a webcam and then attach it to the avatar?
Hi Tomy, unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment, you can share your webcam but it will stay in one place. You could put a photo of yourself on your avatar though.
Hi I have a query. It seems that when I exit the room as a host, no other visitor will be able to enter the room. What to do so that visitors can enter anytime without host there?
unfortunately this is a known issue and has something to do with the number of calls a external service can make to youtube. Check the discord for updates on this issue it may get resolved one day.
If mic input is the factor currently limiting the number of users in a space, why not divide the space into several separate sections (breakoutrooms...) that are each closed towards the other regarding e.g. mic input. You can always have cross-section broadcast channels which are limited in number and can be heard in the entire space, but that should only concern e.g. presenters, not normal participants. This way, you don't have to limit the number of participants to a VERY LOW 25...
Hi there! Thanks so much for your video it was super useful. I just have a quick question. I want two videos to start playing simultaneously when an avatar stands in a certain part of the room. I have read a few forums suggesting using spatial mapping or a box collider, but there is little documentation on how to piece this together. Would be great to get some tips or links to further documentation on this.
running on Chrome browser using 100% of each of 4 cores on i7 with 8gb ram and 250mbs/sec ethernet --- maybe 1 frame every 3 seconds .. Come back in 5 years when you have something closer to Second Life ( and legs on avatars)
Why don't you just reuse the tech developed for MMO Games to solve problems like model sizes, number of participants, synching participant actions? The tech has been around for years, but Mozilla is starting from scratch and creating a solution that lags behind the state of the art.
Hi Elgin, I love the way you are enjoying the things you created. Great that you are having fun at work!

Thanks Colin! ♥️
Thank you for this. I am looking forward to use Hubs for the final poster session in a course that I am teaching.
Hi Waqar! this sounds awesome - we would love to hear how it went (hubs@mozilla.com)
Charming and insightful presentation, thank you!!

This is awesome! Is there some planning to make a marketplace to buy/sell 3D stuff :D
When I clicked create room in VR, it failed to load the scene, and nothing else happened, this made me furious as heck
I'm curious. Why is the action labelled "Close Room"? "Delete Room" or "Destroy Room" requires no additional explanation.
*Watches in Hubs*
Very awesome, I've been using A-Frame, but I didn't know this existed.
Any chance that hubs includes smartphone vr support? That would allow fast entry into the vr space for people that don't have $400 dying around.
I LOVE THIS!

Hi Team, Great Work..
I am wondering if i can integrate external apps like MS Team ?

youtube videos have errors when you import it to any room :(

great video for newbies cheers.
can you import 3d unity environments?
wish that dice and physics worked well, woul dbe great for virtual bordgames nights
Thanks for the tutorial. Very useful.
Awesome!
are there controls to fly?
On desktop (2d), it's the 'g' key to toggle flying on/off. On VR devices with controllers, it's usually R3 (click the right stick).
Perfect💫👌
Unfortunately the avatars are limbless.

BOOOOOOOOOOOU
Too late, pc users is 1% of internet users. Browsers is not the mainstream anymore. And Oculus (Meta) made horizon worlds. Too late.
