Incredible performance. Huge shame that the race was cut short. But every single minute raced was a sprint. Unbelievable.
It was a very intense race
1:50 the prefect decision in a split second
To me it looked like it took him to long to process where the other car was and when he could finally make a decision he was past his turn-in point so he had to throw it on the grass. Pretty far from a perfect decision if that's what happened. You can't win the N24h without luck. It looked like he was anticipating that the car was stranded on the racing line, and when he realized the racing line was clear it was to late to turn in, so that was actually not a correct let alone perfect decision, however it shows that even while he's going bananas he's still being somewhat careful and cautious.

@@user-hr2zy7ct8h I agree with you. One thing I can think in Estre's favor is that he suspected the Audi had spun possibly because of oil on track or something else and wanted to take no risks. But this is a very far-fetched possibility and I don't think it was the case :D

Kevin is really killing the competition in GT sports over the last couple of years... Porsche would be wise to involve him in the LMDh program considering how Bamber and Tandy worked out.
Him and Christensen are probably already signed up for one car :D
Also Bamber, Vanthoor, Campbell... They have a killer lineup for endurance.
@@mihajlovucinic011 That would be nice!! Would love to see Lotterer in one Porsche. But he will be 42 in 2023... Not sure, if he is getting a cockpit. Guess your lineup is realistic, but not really sure if they would entertain a relatively new GT driver lineup. Pretty excited for it! Could also imagine that they take Jani or Wehrlein.
@@lj9523 yeah i have a feeling they will have their regular 2 driver teams for 2 or 3 cars and one extra experienced driver as a third driver. Hulkenberg might return too.
@@kukuc96 Yeah I know that. For me, Andre is the best prototype driver I've ever seen. I'm remembering his hero stints in 2011 in Le Mans or his starting stint in 2015. I would absolutely love to see him win in a Porsche - maybe even with Kevin - after the disaster in 2017. Still, I could imagine that Porsche is going a younger route and taking Wehrlein (the other FE driver) instead... But as I said, I'm a fan of Andre and Kevin, and to see my two idols winning together would be great ✌️

I don't know why but somehow since the race I always think of him and the Porsche like he is the greatest driver right now on the planet. Congrats to him and team Manthey Porsche 🏆

The millions of F1 fans are not motorsport fans, I like F1 but for the whole weekend, for proper racing we love the GT3 and GTE's and can't get better then the Nordschleife. That's also why their isn't a lot of F1 on Iracing, we all love to race this class for the battles
when he harrased the living hell out of the driver in the Team Getspeed merc between Caracciola Karussell and Bründchen on lap one, THAT was EPIC!💪

I was wondering, how does a 911 GT3 R compare to an RSR?
GT3 R is in GT3 Class,
RSR is in GTE class.
GTE ar faster due to an higher aerodynamic performance but also harder to drive so just made for the World Enduarance Championship.
Both Classes are racing in IMSA and you can see there that GT3 are slighty slower, but the difference is not that big.
There where much discussions about getting them together in one class, but right now it seems like GTE-Class is dying.
If someone would ask me, i would call the former GTE-Class GT1, GT3 should be calles GT2, the new slower GT2 should be GT3 and GT4 stays. This would be an Pyramid like in Formula 1-4 or Rallye
Rsr is faster than the gt3 r yes, but 4times more expensive per hour of driving than gt3 😱
Is why gt3 is a popular class especially when you need to repair the car with ducktape sometimes 😂
