@@GhostRider-ce2rg Could barely handle the smug condescending pr*ck attitude. His "solution" was "drive your vehicle to an A/C specialist". What a douchebag! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!
I think your advice is bad. AC is a DIY project. And I can not imagine how the belt can be damaged unless the clutch fails something unlikely due to an overcharge
@@ProfessorDIY yes it was weird to because the dealership told me the clutch was going when I had an inspection then sure enough that evening it locked up on me and snapped the belt. Actually shredded it to pieces lol
A/C recharging is one of the easiest DIY jobs especially if you can get a shop to remove the refrigerant for you safely and legally. I don't understand why he exagerates the danger of overcharging when there are reasonably priced vacuum pumps and manifold gauges available.
How to fix an overcharged system. Take it to a mechanic, solid advice 🤣🤣 All you need to do is connect your filling gauge and hose to the low pressure side and dump the excess into a proper waste receptacle. Most gauges have an indicator which says what is too high and too low. Dont listen to this plantpot.
Just tell us how to fucking do it!
Right
It’s easy just follow the instructions

My ac clutch failed before and snapped the belt in the dead of winter
@@DjSmoothNY I. The dead of winter your couch should have been free spinning and not engaging at all
@@ProfessorDIY the whole thing seized up. When I had it replaced I tried to spin the old one and that sucker was locked up lol.
@@DjSmoothNY strange to fail when it was free spinning without cycling but it proves either cars weird things do happen

That 6 mins I’ll never get back.
I stopped halfway through. 🤦🏾
Thank you. Much help.👍👍👍

I'm a/c guy from Nigeria how can I get the best gas/oli
The video maker must be a mechanic.
Charging AC every year 😂
AC is a closed system that doesn't need to recharge forever unless leak in your system
I replaced my own ac compressor and I'm not a pro
"If the serpentine belt snaps that can cost you thousands of dollars" is the most bologna I have heard in my life
Hell! Itshot. I need answers not lectures
A ”How to fix” video that doesn’t say how to fix.
It's doable, it's just technically illegal. I know how to do it.
Mechanic can also rip you off and not know what they are doing.
