Happy SipnSlay WigBaes! *WINNER! CONGRATS LNEAL2800* $100 Cash App Prize - How many crochet singles did I use for this look? I took some before and after pics of my hair and my balding area is actually SMALLER and more circular than before. The way I parted my hair in video made it seem a lot bigger, especially with the lights. Let's chat below! 🤞🏾
13 in the back, the top ponytail you had 11 pieces but said you were gonna add another pack (which I thought were 8 pieces per bundle, there’s two bundles in a pack which is 16) but you had 1 left so you used 15 out that pack. And the 2 front pieces
I have PCOS as well and definitely know the struggle with doctors! I also have the exact same balding as you but mine is a little slicker. I really appreciate your transparency and love your videos. I struggled to figure out what I could do with my hair and my husband showed me your video and I have been hooked ever since. Thank you so much for sharing!
I suffer from PCOS as well. And my hair loss was in the same area as well, plus major thinning. I have now been cutting it full bald now for over two years . ❤
It’s the transparency for me!! You’re helping more women than you know. Your channel is more than wig reviews, you out here changing lives🥰 God bless you with the pcos journey! Keep shining beautiful✨✨✨
I have PCOS also. Please be careful with the metformin- it’s meant to be temporary. I was on it for years and my doctor took me off because the metformin is linked to cancer. Thanks for your transparency ❤️
Sis, I also have PCOS and have lost so much hair it is crazy. I love you gone to her an endocrinologist and a hematologist? What I discovered because I almost died was that my PCOS had caused me to go into severe anemia. when they check your hemoglobin they also check your iron but regular blood tests do not check somethings that’s called ferritin. That’s your iron stores and you start shedding hair at 80. No of course the medical community says that an acceptable level of ferritin is 30 or higher but my hematologist has me always aiming for 100 or better and I get there primarily by getting liquid iron infusions through an IV. When I was at my lowest my ferritin was only five and just this past year as I noticed my hair was shitting all over the place again my ferritin was down to 16. The crazy part is, all you notice is that you’re tired and it can come from something as crazy as our super heavy periods so go check! ❤️
PCOS & Hypothyroidism and hormone imbalance. Doctor told me to drink more water and work out more because walking is being lazy. I now have a new doctor. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I have PCOS and I'm hypothyroid...that metformin was big HELL NO for me....the side effects were ridiculous..💩💩💩...thanks for video...it was funny and uplifting...many blessings to you and yours🥰
You are absolutely amazing! Quick, easy and detailed. Thank you for being transparent and upfront when it comes to your hair. A lot of us struggle with problems like this and you are helping us way more than you think. Love you girl🥰😍😍😍
Aww thanks sis! I am happy that my journey with hair loss is helping others. I never thought I would be a person to share for the world to see. but it has made me a lot more confident in my truth.
Thank you for being so honest with us! I also have PCOS and have been managing hair loss/regrowth for a while. I started my YT channel (Nourish Your Crown) to document and share my journey in hopes that it encourages others. In fact, I have an interview coming up with a Nurse Practitioner that specializes in PCOS and is going to share her knowledge about PCOS and hair loss. If you (or anyone that sees this message) have any specific questions related to this topic, I'm happy to ask her and report back. Or, anyone can leave a message on the "Ask the Expert" comment box on my channel. Hope it's ok to post this here. Again, thanks for sharing and you look beautiful - as always!
Been in the struggle a long time. Most of my adult life. I largely gave up after my thyroidectomy 10 years ago. I wash, condition and braid..no ground is being won. I'm just so thankful to have this condition in a time where I've been able to make use of wigs and look great instead of just suffering the embarrassment. I know so many people, family included that take pride in saying "I don't do wigs or weave" but desperately need to.
Never been diagnosed with PCOS but your hair loss is the same as mine. Thanks to my cousin I have a new person to follow for hair ideas and love the transparency.
Be well sis. Take care of yourself. We need your lessons and your laughter! I’m taking this message as an extra push to get back on my wellness journey so thanks so much for sharing. You’re the sign I wasn’t even looking for ❤
I have PCOS as well and your videos have truly helped me. I have balding in the middle, but Im grateful for your channel and your transparency. Oh your styles have helped me too not feel like I can't do anything. Thank you so much. So happy I stumbled upon your channel ❤️
Helloooo there princess!!👸🏾 I COMPLETELY adore your transparency and "vulnerability" in/on your journey through PCOS. I love how graceful you are with yourself and how WELL you work and slay, with what you have. Definitely here to support you along the way. 🙏🏽💛 Final look came out a BEAUTY...(You are the picture of the half-up, half-down look😁)Thanks for consistently COMING THRU!✔️✔️ P.s. I love to see the grey hair🤍🤍
I’m soo happy that you share this journey to let other ladies know they are not alone with hair loss.. I know I told you I suffer from alopecia and I been going to a dermatologist.. but I don’t have the edges to give me the great styles you can come up with!! But I know someone can see this and still have some type of hope that they can do something great with their hair!!! ❤❤❤
I love this! You can do no wrong in this hair game! I too have PCOS and used to take metformin. It gave me bad cramps so I stopped but this facial hair growth is for the birds!
Kie, you are such a beautiful soul, a true gift. Wishing you all life's best. The way you slay every hair style you touch, and hold down a home, kids, 2 jobs and a marriage - remember you are Winning sis - PCOS or not. Of course put your health first ; because, you are worth it!
I love the transparency. I don't have PCOS but I am also experiencing thinning due to thyroid issues. Troubles with my weight and hormones also. I agree it's easy to neglect your health when you're taking care of an entire household. Small children require lots of attention. I'm going to cut my hair again as well and try to focus on my health.
"I don't have 5 business days to do a twist out" lmao. This came out wonderful, bestfran! You a really changing lives out here with your transparency. Love you 💛
I have PCOS too! Its hard to navigate and hard to control sometimes! Thank you for always being brave and transparent with us about your journey! You are gorgeous inside and out!!!❤
I understand your pain. I was so fed up I did cut my hair a year ago and it allowed me to focus on my bald and thinning areas. Thanks for sharing your journey and struggles.
Seeing you share your journey with PCOS and even with all the things you mentioned about your condition you look like you got this and your condition has not broken you
God bless you Miss Kie. I looove courage to show your hair. I’m praying your meds will help make your hair grow back. Keep allow God to use you. Thank you for the video. I love the crochet hairstyle
Thank you for sharing... I am only now just recovering because I fail to give up so I know exactly how you feel. Thanks for sharing with us Kie and continue to keep your spirit high. Be blessed
My niece just told me about PCOS this summer because her and her sister has it. My niece couldn't have kids for years, she just got pregnant when they realized what's going on. I do have these same issues as you with the thinning etc. Mine is front center though. I definitely have to look into this and ask my doctor about it.
You being honest and transparent I know is helping so many woman. Thank you for your vulnerability. I know that is hard to do online. Wishing you good health and blessings on this hair journey. The hairstyle came out super cute
I have all the issues. Hair growth on face. Thinning just like yours. PCOS, just had half my thyroid removed, hormone issues. Etc etc. I LOVE you and your videos and your style suggestions. You are a true Godsend for people like me that need style ideas with thinning. Love you. Keep up the great work and inspiring videos
I always appreciate your transparency with you sharing your hair journey. This style you did is beautiful and easy! You’re talented my friend. Excellent video from start to finish!
This is a style I definitely need to try it's simple and cute. Thanks for sharing your pcos journey I suffer from pcos also and its very frustrating especially knowing I'm 38 struggling with getting pregnant
You definitely know how to pull a style together! I love the outcome of this! Yasssss! I want to try a crochet style on my youngest and this may come in handy! Happy Friday 💃🏽🥰
I can’t begin to explain how much I appreciate how Genuine you are Kie. 💜Thank you for your PCOS update. I suffer from hair loss but was never officially diagnosed with PCOS and thought maybe things would even out a little after my surgery and some more stuff.. but…no. Anyway your transparency about hair loss but still keeping it cute despite it all is so encouraging to me and I know many others keep it up sis. You look absolutely beautiful I love how you styled the hair and chiiiile that look likes it’s your hair💯
Thank you for being vulnerable to the world! I recently cut off my sisterlocks after having them for 8 years. I noticed extreme thinning and baldness possibly due to medication and learned I may also have alopecia. It is a new process for me and I’m trying to love the new me. Your vulnerability and videos are greatly appreciated ❤
OH WOW! I suffer from PCOS as well, but I never knew it causes these symptoms, I was wondering why I had facial hair(not a lot) and why my hair was balding, it’s actually in the same place as yours in the video and suffer from infertility, I thank you so much for sharing that
Thank you for sharing I am natural for 3 years and I am useing the clip on May 2023 I use them so I can get away from the wig.Thank you for sharing keep up the good work looking forward to seeing you again so beautiful great job
So fantastic that you share so openly and helpfully about your PCOS. I’ve suffered from chronic migraines for 30 years, and am a hard case (literally tried everything), and luckily finally found Rx that give me a mostly normal life. So I understand how valuable it is to find people who share your issues and talk openly and helpfully about them. What makes you gorgeous is: you’re beautiful, inside and out. And the inside beauty is the part that counts. ❤ your videos, your spirit and your laughter !!
Hey sis! First off I want to I applaud you for being so vulnerable, and for helping the hair community. Secondly I wanted to say, check all your hair products because what I have noticed a lot of products have ceta alcohol, stearyl alcohol, and benenyl alcohol which are harmful to the hair. Lanolin strips the hair of the healthy oils, petroleum, propylene glycol, artificial colors and artificial fragrances. But there’s a lot more. Get your pad and pen girl and research. Sending love!! Mo
While I do not have PCOS, I am perimenopausal which is wreaking havoc on my hair and body. Thanks for your transparency. Helps so many of us to not feel so alone. Also, you DID THAT with the hair style!🤎
I love you so much for always being transparent about your hair loss. You help me so much with my depression about my hair loss situation. I have chopped mine off several time now n frustration. And I more recently shaved my sides and I regret it. Miss the hair in the back to anchor my wigs! But using my wig grips boo! But thanks again for sharing. 😊
Try braided protective hairstyles without touching or manipulating your hair and use Doo Gro Mega Thick shampoo and conditioner products along with castor oil that should help regrow your hair back to it's health.
Sis the struggle is REALLLLL BUT GOD is all I can say. I've taken pills (still on metformin and a good doctor will keep an eye on your kidneys and liver levels), injections, oils. Yes keep walking and stay as healthy as possible. My struggle zones are edges and top portion but the back grows like a wilderness. I wanted to cut mine off as well and hubby said no just leave it alone so we shall see. It can be draining. Love the hair!!!
I love this style imma do this on my daughter's hair next she's in middle school.I have been racking my braid trying to figure out how to put the the two pieces in the front for a band and here you go and upload this style thank you kindly 😊
I have PCOS too and it’s effecting my hair pretty badly. But I too, need to take better care of my health and hair. 😩 Thank you for sharing your journey! I appreciate it so much! And this hairstyle was sooo cute! Love it!! 💛
I have PCOS too and have suffered from/with everything thats associated with PCOS. Its so frustrating when dealing with insensitive doctors and people in general when it comes to dealing with PCOS. What helped my hair was frequent washing. My hair wouldnt fall out clean to the scalp but it would become so brittle that it would break off to about 1/4 of an inch, leaving a peach fuzz. My hair on my face and neck is annoying and has left scars. Thats because i "pluck" with my fingers trying to grab and pull, but now i grab tweezers but I'm considering laser. I'll save meds for last resort to help with facial hair. TFS.
I have PCOS and similar hair loss/thinning in my crown. You are my inspiration! I discovered wigs and your videos a year ago and have a new level of confidence! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing so much. This is such an important topic. I have a couple of friends with PCOS and it affects each woman differently. Please take care of yourself. Your voice is so appreciated in so many ways.
You’re amazing, beautiful and so much fun! Thank you for sharing your hair journey and your honesty, I’m sure that has helped a lot of people who suffer from the same condition. Love all of your videos! Would love if you did more makeup videos too ! All the best to you and your family!
That was great an very detailed information. Sorry for the condition with your hair. Hope you keep up with the meds an hair care. Can’t wait to see the out come from your hair progress an meds. Have a blessed one!
Kie, I'm so inspired! I, too, suffer with PCOS. I deal with the male-pattern baldness and severe hair thinning right in the front of my hairline. This style looks like something I could try. Tell me, did you plait your hair at the back? Thanks.
You did a great job with this one. I love, love, LOVE this style 😍 It looks so good on you and it’s great for thin hair or sparse density hair. Thank you for sharing this tutorial as well as your health journey with us.
Hey Kie! I'm so glad to get an upload from you while we sit thru Ian ⛈️ This style came out beautiful! Hard to believe it's already been a year since your move and 2 years since your last PCOS update. I might try this style on myself. Sending well wishes! 💕
Cut it off!! I suffer from alopecia and let me tell you when I finally took the clippers to the whisper patches of hair I was trying to maintain, it was such a relief and freeing. I now enjoy wig days, no hair days but no longer bad hair days 🥰❤️
Thank you for always being transparent and authentic ! Secondly, seemed like an easy slay! You keep taking care of yourself love! Did a great job on this style 🤍
Kie you did that! It looks so natural. I really like the hair you used. I chopped my hair off in Feb due severe thinning and I love and hate it 😂 it's too cold where I am too be bald.
Thank you for sharing this. I am cutting my hair off today because of the same thing. I have PCOS and all my crown...has fallen out. I hate it so much. I criiiiiiiiiiied! Sis I feel your pain.
Just did this hairstyle on my sister and she loves it!! Only took about 30 mins as i cornrowed the back of her head but this hair style is going to be a firm favourite for a while - thanks so much for the tutorial ❤
My hair is thinned out exactly like yours and in the same spot. I also have had weight gain and fibroids on my uterus.I need to be tested for pcos as well.

Thank you for your transparency. I couldn't imagine what you're going through. Hopefully you see some changes being back on your meds. Love the outcome of the hairstyle.
hey Ms Kie! I love it! it looks good! thank you for being transparent! I'm type 2 diabetic, I take metformin AND insulin. I have a ton of hair loss all the time because of it on top of having fine strands. it stresses me out sooo bad😔
I really enjoy watching you Kie !! I'm not familiar with pcos but i have struggled with hair loss &growth with an abnormal thyroid.... it's these silent diseases ppl never understand friend!!! Hold on!! And keep slaying boo! 💙🙌
I have the same pattern as you but mine is worse. Edges left with the big bald spot in the middle. Styling my hair is so hard. I used to be able to wear wigs but now they just feel uncomfortable. The struggle is real…

I have the same pattern as you but mine is worse. Edges left with the big bald spot in the middle. Styling my hair is so hard.
I used to be able to wear wigs but now they just feel uncomfortable. The struggle is real…
