I worked at the company that prepped all the Cosworth shells for competition for ford.
500hp, 1040kg, car is a beast. Make the hood, hatch, spoilers, + more in CF, and yo can take off another 40kg? Wow! Now, if it only could sound like the 635csi!
Dick Johnson & Co admitted that their Sierras prepared for Bathurst would produce ~600 HP in qualifying trim and would simply destroy tires just after a few laps due to massive wheelspin and short wheelbase. However, the still lost to Godzillas which would develop around 700 HP with the boost wound up (they were banned just a year later).
Dream car. That all about it.

What a difficult car to tame in Project Cars
It's so damn fun when you do though. I've driven the Cossie in so many Sims now that my friends can't keep up when I'm in one.
Skinny tires, narrow track, short wheel base + savage lag = Expert level.
Still my favorite car of all time!

Flat spot on the tire, keeps locking on the same point. It's a viscous cycle.
