one thing i think that really gets under peoples skin in the comparing yourselves to others is jealousy and envy of "more successful" artists. but the thing is is that success can be defined in many different ways. you don't have to be famous to be successful and you really don't even necessarily need to make money or a lot of it to be successful either. the idea of success to you could be as simple as making the best art that you can. it's all about your mindset and where your heart is. if your in it to be famous and make a lot of money you are in the wrong line of work my friend. kinda lost my point while typing but oh well. you pretty much hit every nail anyway. keep grinding.

Keep Spreading awareness bro people need to have more of these conversations, and for me, the only way to be able to move pass these things is by talking about it and not keeping it to yourself that way we all can learn how to navigate life if it happens to us. Nuff LOVE

Literally said this to my therapist the other day. Talking about it is part of how I get through it. Its very necessary for me and I'm sure for a lot of others. You know where my head is at! Imma always express.

This was SOOOOOOO necessary!! Thanks so much for sharing this video. It’s a daily struggle for me because I feel like I should be so much farther than I am and at my age. All lies from the pit of hell but still a daily task implementing “Jedi mind tricks” in an attempt to not quit lol

Trust me, this is even something I battle with myself. Feeling like you should be further along. But so much of that is in the mind. We are our own worst critic sometimes. Keep going!

Being a tortured soul is just the price you have to pay to be an artist :(

Thank you so much for taking the time and energy to make this. I really appreciate it!
I most likely had depression before making any kind of art. Looking back, I must have had it all my life.
It affects everything you do, so if you're depressed you can count on it affecting you're life as a music creator.
It doesn't have to be that way though. I hope someday people get it out of their heads that an artist has to be unhappy to be great.
Any artist who can create while maintaining their wellbeing is a master.
But due to circumstances, a lot of us do have to deal with it. So the best we can do is help each other cope ^-^
Thanks again for the beautiful video
    Love you man💙
    Stay Lxgendary

Helping to cope is part of my mission for sure. I feel my experiences have helped me to learn some better ways to move through life as a musician so I'm just here to impart what I learn in hopes to help others (and myself lol). Thank you as always for listening.

Imagine going through it in album mode process , and then doing with lust issue I have that come with lack of a divine feminine energy, plus I know I have love for self surely but I always felt I was never deal a great deal when it comes to a divine feminine, it always get interrupted or something just ain’t went right , and waste energy on that and I know everything ain’t meant to be but it gets too me sometimes, I be wanting conversations and innerstanding for a divine feminine but they never relate to me. I think that biggest issue with me , and when I put in music it makes it worse but it is healing too !!! Idk what I got going on but I still know myself as well !!! I am still learning and battling everyday!!! Only thing keeps me sane is making my music !!!

I concur 👍 with you iamlxgend that every structure of a song verse, chorus, post chorus, interlude, bridge, breakdown, break, intro, and outro every structure tells a story and that’s what music 🎼 🎵 🎶 is all about is storytelling I also concur 👍 with you that it’s like a chapter book 📖 and each page of a chapter book 📖 📕 📚 is different. Each song 🎵 🎧 🎶 is different. But the collection of chapters in a book 📕 📖 📚. Aka the collection of songs. Make up the one full story aka one complete album 💿. All of these song structure like 👍 intro, outro aka coda aka ending, verse, pre chorus, chorus, bridge, interlude, post chorus, break, breakdown all count to tell a story for your song 🎵 and also sequencing too? In my opinion I 100 💯 percentI concur 👍 with you LXGEND that album 💿 sequencing is not a lost 😞 art 🖼. And I also concur 👍 with you that all songs have a beginning and all songs have an end. And so glad you agree with Robert from home studio simplified and grant from Paul colman trio about why songs have to start from beginning to end. Runtime is just how long it takes for a dong to play. It’s the song that has a length of time it takes to play - also known as a runtime - but it’s only the CD that will SHOW you the runtime.Another way of saying “runtime” is “the length of the song” or “the time it takes for the song to play” or “how long is the song”. On a CD, “runtime” shows you how much of the song you have listened to. Vinyl and cassette technology isn’t able to show that time. CD’s can.To me, runtime for a song is the amount of time it takes to play the song from the first sound at the start until there is no sound at the end. What Jonathan Miller told me is that runtime starts at 0:00 and finished when the audio is completed. The mastering engineer will have the final say on the exact runtime, but mastering will never shorten a song and will probably only lengthen the song by a few seconds at the most. Hopefully the mastering engineer is only adding the amount of silence between the songs (that gets added to a song’s runtime) to the requirements of the artist. If a person is listening to a whole album, how much or little silence is in between each song (or if the end of one song overlaps with the start of the next) can really effect how the listener feels and responds to the song. The number at the end of the song is “whatever it might be” meaning, whatever the length of the song is. I concur 👍 with you that an studio album 💿 is like a chapter book 📖 while the inside is like chapters each chapter of a book 📖 📕 📚 (song) is different. But the collect of chapters in a book 📖 📕 📚 (collection of songs) make up one full story aka full album 💿 aka record.
