- I'm using mother's old saree and my crop top for this dhoti saree drape. It is perfect for Indian Wedding functions like Cocktail, Mehendi Sangeet or engagement. The drape is perfect for Farewell functions as well.

Your drape is way better than Sonam’s 💕
I think this is Maharatrian Navari saree draped in chiffon material. Ofcourse you have used 5 yards instead of 9 yards. You have given a glamorous touch to a Navari Saree. Wonderful.

The pleats are pinned to her black legging. So its more simple than usual sari. As though we wear kurthi legging and going to washroom

BIG question. Is this really practical? Is it possible to use the loo with the sarie being trapped this way?
It is not very practical coz my cousin did the exact same thing for dussehra look and firstly, she knew going to the loo would be a nightmare so she was controlling for a long time! When it was too much she had to undrape it somewhat to be able to use the loo with a lot of effort and after redraping it, she had to run to the washroom after every 5 mins of dancing because the knot at the starting kept opening with dancing! So yeah these are the issues

It's really nice. Actually It is Maharashtrian style of saree.called nauvari saree. it require nauvari.but in this way we can wear simple saree in this fashion.Its Good❤❤
