As a result of World War II, Elbląg has found itself within the borders of Poland. Taking over the city meant almost complete replacement of its population. The new residents tried as soon as possible shake off the turmoil of war. They wanted to find a home, work and school for children here. However, to achieve the desired peace, they had to face many problems.
