Had a walk past this yacht when she was being prepped at Ipswich. First words out of my mouth to the wife . Best looking boat since the J Class era . Keep your tupper wear gin palaces this is sailing art. Proud its built in Ipswich
Hi... I am a subscriber to a channel that is constantly watching in Korea (the United Kingdom once again thanking for the Korean War for Korea's freedom), a country with little yacht culture. It's hard to see a yacht in person, I am one of the people who enjoy watching yachts on UA-cam. It is concentrated in Europe and the yacht that changes every time, but seeing various marina does not have a yacht and there is no culture like that, but watching your channel is enjoying the trip through the monitor very much. Spirit111 was introduced on the yacht channel as soon as he saw it. It was the first yacht that made my heart beat. Although it has a traditional appearance, I was told that all the components of the yacht are replaced by state-of-the-art machines. actually There are only a few videos of this ship on UA-cam. I don't have any information, but here's a very valuable video from Delivery. I'm glad you showed me. Watching your company take charge of shipping these expensive yachts made me happy to measure your company's recognition. someday I sincerely hope that you will buy the yacht that I want and request delivery to your company so that the video that comes to Korea where I live will be filmed. Q: As far as I know, this ship's door handle is very unique. How does it feel to open an automatic door through a sensor....I'm very curious.
There are many things about this yacht that are unique. A fabulous fusion of traditional wood with all the mod cons. The doors took a bit of getting used to! They are heavy and solid. Everything on this boat oozes quality!
Yes, So uncomfortable without any protection. Hopefully something is done about that . You can joke about it all you want but the truth is after that cold spray gets you drenched a few times , the fun is over.
@@paulsmith8212 quite so, it is not exactly a maxi racer. Even the SWS boats are now building them with crew protection. Probably due to the complaints sailing up from Cape Town to the Med.
Awesome to see some sailing footage. (pro-tip: pot down the background music when speaking...narration. you cant hear any words spoken when the music is at the same volume...)
Looks like hand holds for rough seas are a bit sparse. And no leecloths? You need to navigate the cabin as well as the ocean. Beautiful boat where style might exceed function?
Couple of questions. Does this have any kind of bimini for underway to at least give some protection? Is that interior as impracticle as it looks, although aesthetically beautiful? Thanks 👍
OK team, we need 5 of you for an Ipswich to Gosport delivery in October. Raise your hand if you're in. Aww c'mon guys, nobody? It's a new 100' Spirit... Aww c'mon guys, we can't take everybody.
Absolutely beautiful and a high grade of workmanship, but no comfort cruiser. A wet boat, not to say, very wet. No protection whatsoever, ideal in Med/Carib conditions. Ideal regatta eye catcher. Grace, space, and pace according to the lovers of Jaguar's old slogan.
You can’t hear the commentary because the music is annoying and too loud. I laughed when I did hear him say ‘nobody stopped smiling’. Everybody looked miserable
Nice example of the shipbuilders skills but I suspect she will spend most if her life in marinas or motoring on a flat windless sea. Spilling ones g&t is one thing but getting lumps of briney dumped in it is just not cricket. Glad I don't have to sail it. Oh, and turn the annoying muzak down plz
It was built for someone who is both rich and a very active sailor very much to his specifications. This is not a rich man's luxury hotel on the sea but an expert's serious sailing yacht. I believe it is planned to sail mainly the Baltic rather than trans Atlantic or arctic cruising,
What a beautiful Amazing boat. This Is probably the most beautiful Sailing Yacht in the world. Wauw😍
A true testament to the skill of you're boatbuilding community wonderful skilled people involved

Lovely comment 👍🏻
Great vid - good to see Geist out sailing.
Surprised that there isn’t a dodger for crew protection.

12 knot cruise, very nice! Enjoyed the video.
Thanks - glad you enjoyed it. She is fast and light - like a giant racing dinghy!
@@Halcyonyachts give us a shout next time you need crew for the 111, yachtmaster coastal 😁
Great film!
Thanks - glad you liked it. The next one is of a Rustler 42 from the Med to the UK!
wow was only expecting a quick overfly of the yacht but that was great! Have you got more to share? ;-D
Could have watched the sailing for a couple more hours at least. Lovely!
outstanding yacht!
She really is a beauty!
@@Halcyonyachts for sure she is! epic standards!
That's a very wet boat very surprised to see her shipping so much water over the deake on only a Jib

Getting paid to sail one of the world's most beautiful yachts - while looking as inspired as a warehouse worker on a Monday morning.
Why not a gyrocompass in addition to he magnetic (compulsory)? Such a sophisticated yacht.......
Wow. What a lovely boat. Where was my invitation to crew for the delivery??? :)
Is this like a oyster yacht where you can cruise the world?
Lovely boat chap editing
What a ride!
Why did you not hoist the main?
Beautiful
Does anybody know the price?

This boat haunts my dreams.
Judging by yr groceries i thought you were going to cross the Atlantic!
What a job ! 😳
Geist! What an iconic yacht!
What flag was that?
2:05 is noahs ark just casually waiting for the next flood
Functional art
Beautiful... but a spray dodger might be nice... and some handholds below - unless you're fond of trips to the dentist.
2:02 are we just going to ignore Noah's Ark chilling in port?
That huge deck with nothing to hold on to and no protection for the helmsman. That 10 M pound sail boat is not intended for sailing.
£16M, not 10. ($20M US)
The gilded cage of gilded cages :)

"Headsail alone for more control" err not buying that. Main was inoperable more like!
Large vessel but a WET vessel.
