I couldn't believe my eyes that an oncoming train can look so slow but in reality its approaching really fast. Thanks for making me aware of this hidden danger.
Yea indian passenger trains are relatively the longest ones in the world. So most platforms are atleast 1km long with trains having about 22 boggies(compartments)in average.
With huge population and understaffed security personnel, you can only do so much. Government is trying to raise awareness but what can you do if people are being idiot.
@The Legend It was overhead electic wires that ended that practice. Give India credit..it has a good railway system...I spent six months traveling on it
ICR BROCK Well it’s kind of true. It does still happen in some parts of India, not because of lowered bridges but because those lines are both busy AND not electrified
You still seeing those old 'Raj era' movies a lot? With turban heads, fakirs, snake charmers, elephant riding maharajas and trains filled to top along with background music of a sitar and tabala? And ya customary shots of slums.... 😆
Very good recording with perfect light and sound, enjoyed every bit. Looking ahead for many more good ones, thanks! Really would appreciate if speeds were mentioned of each and every train that was recorded. Best wishes from Toronto, Canada.
Canada has an extremely beautiful rail network. I travelled on The Canadian, from Toronto to Vancouver, it took 4 days. The route simply awesome, cannot be described in words. There is one train that starts in Prince Rupert...I wanted to try that route
Your videos are the most advanced and most refined of all on Indian trains.... Esp. I loved the new concept of flashing statements of warning and general knowledge and educating people about it
Western Railway is simply fabulous...what a marvellous way to educate some casual neglicience for every average treespasser...this is the maxim to deal with railway tracks - Go above through an overbridge or below by underpass but never attempt to go across the track, unless it is inevitable. It will turn into a habitual tendency and who knows one day that one fatal mistake could cost dearly. Also the compilation speaks for itself, every video is picturesed in a perfect manner. This video should be seen by as many as possible. #RailFanning is so educational these days 😍, whoever comes across this comment please like and share with the ones concerned.
Very nicely captured videos, Train passing by at quiet and serene location always amazes me. Looking for more enthralling and exciting videos in future
I love this video! VERY high quality! I love these long consists of 17 to 23 cars in length. I see ridership is very high. The equipment looks very modern with good colors. It’s a shame there are not produced in model form, say, HO scale. I’d like to know the routes to get an idea of what ‘city pairs’ are being served. Anyway, thank you. It gives a good flavor of the Indian rail system!
It is also one of the the reason why trains are restricted with in the speed limit of about 110 km/hr. Most of the trains can easily hit 150/160, some even 200km/hr if safety was maintained. Another reason being bad condition of tracks.
Very good photography. With zoom lens. And your research was good to search this locations on railway tracks. But many locomotive train engine are in very bad colours , looks oldest and there Bogies are new looks shine painted.
Not really, you are on the mark there. Of course, that really only matters if IR could afford to upgrade tracks, and if we could ever get high speed clearance considering how lax people are about rail safety. Anyway, the fastest locmotive can only haul upto 250km/h, and requires a modified gear ratio to do so. It really isn't a priority, they just allow the trains to run at an acceptable speed (110 to 180km/h) and leave it at that. The true crime is average speeds, which even for the fastest trains is no better than 100km/h.
I couldn't believe my eyes that an oncoming train can look so slow but in reality its approaching really fast.
Thanks for making me aware of this hidden danger.
bigger size moving vehicle or object looks slow but in reality its fast
Trains never run particularly slow and their weight means the take a long distance to stop
it loks that slow because they are using an extreme telephoto lens setting. It wouldn't look like that at all to the naked eye!
@@andrewdarley8988 exactly why i came to comment section to say ...
It’s because you don’t have that much depth perception. It’s the same with airplanes.
Excellent recording... especially when train approaches near & zoom also rolling back to match the train Speed in back gear. It's awesome timing.
Thank you very much!

Indian trains are so colorful
There must be some seriously long platforms at the stations
Yea indian passenger trains are relatively the longest ones in the world. So most platforms are atleast 1km long with trains having about 22 boggies(compartments)in average.
@@naveenrajieapen2520 damn!
@@naveenrajieapen2520 No you are wrong..The Ghan (Australia) is the longest passenger train in the world, it has 44 coaches.
@Gk Bhaiya Gamer Its not passenger train...its a goods train...
@@arbjful just wait and see what U.S. pulls in terms of goods trains lol.
Excellent actions!
Good video. Thanks. Just reaffirms that trains are no joke.
You got that right!
As an engineer in Canada this dangerous behavior would not be tolerated
With huge population and understaffed security personnel, you can only do so much. Government is trying to raise awareness but what can you do if people are being idiot.
Is lockdown me train dekhne nd uski awaz sunne ko taras gye h

Dangerous Curves and Music Though 👌🏻
And not one person sitting on the train roof. My image of Indian trains has been shattered.
@The Legend It was overhead electic wires that ended that practice.

S P Part of that is still significant for India. Statistics show that toilets are luxuries and google earth images also still show slums.
Very good recording with perfect light and sound, enjoyed every bit. Looking ahead for many more good ones, thanks! Really would appreciate if speeds were mentioned of each and every train that was recorded. Best wishes from Toronto, Canada.

Trespassers wouldn’t stand a chance if it was the TGV of Eurostar .
Idiot trespassers won't have a chance with any train period
It is hard to trespass on to the Railway, they are well fenced

Is it too simplistic to suggest that the wider Indian gauge inherently provides greater stability and potential for higher speeds on curves?
