Nakamise-dori Street is lined with shops offering local snacks, souvenirs, and traditional crafts. At the end of the street is Sensō-ji Temple, Tokyo's oldest and most significant Buddhist temple.
Our day ends at one of Tokyo’s famous skyline on the banks of Sumida River. Next to the Tokyo Skytree is the Asahi Beer Tower (golden building) meant to resemble a well-poured pint of beer with the top representing the foam. The black building beside it is the Asahi Beer Hall with a golden flame top, known as the Asahi flame. Because of its unusual shape, some have nicknamed it “the golden turd”, and the beer hall, “the poo building”.
