I havent been back to Oahu in nearly 10 years.
My favorite eats is still of course
- The main Leonard's on Kapahulu
- The plates @ Rainbow Drive In also on Kapahulu
- The musubi sold at any 7-11
- The boiled peanuts at the Market in downtown Honolulu
- The shave Ice at Matsumoto
The little restaurant by the bus station in Waipahu. Cant forget that. But yeah, Rainbow is the daily go to for me.

Amazing list! Will need to try a couple places. I live on Oahu and never ate at Ted's Bakery for their garlic shrimp or My Cafe's loco moco. Thanks for the tip on Poke On Da Run. Will need to try the pork/poke nachos!

there are not that many Leonard's...the main bakery (brick and mortar) on Kapahulu Ave, and two trucks, one at Waikele Shopping Center and the other at Koko Marina Shopping Center which is about one mile before Hanauma Bay.
There's also Leonard's truck at Pearlridge.
A better heading for you should say top 5 TOURIST places to eat. Leonard’s is cool though.

Wonder why none of these hawaiian food videos give any props to the japanese and korean food in oahu. Great video however you need to find another way of saying the food is tasty besides ITS SO GOOD! I think you said it like 50 times. Other then that keep up the good work! 👍👍👍
Everyone that lives in the mainland getting ripped off out there with your poke bowls.. You really don’t need all the extra stuff.. More fish less toppings lol.. Also you should really try to connect with a local on your next visit.

Did you check out & eat at "Boots & Kimo's", when you were in Oahu? Their "Onolicious Pancakes with Macadamia Nut Sauce" is Hella Good Eats!
Sadly, I didn't get a chance to :( Hopefully I'll get to go back soon to check it out!

Oh yeah Boots & Kimo’s is the best.
Super expensive though for food and for breakfast. Kailua is a growing tourist/mainland infused city now. Food is good, but you can find s,all mom and pop places that serve good home cooked food.

Best poke on oahu is ono seafood on kapahulu, or taniokas in waipahu any local would tell you that, dont take my word try it yourself
