I don't think it necessarily does. Like, in my opinion, the future came into existance the moment she got into the accident. She goes to the future and, everthing between her time and the time she goes to becomes decided at the moment she gets hit. It's a bit weird. It's like, once you observe states, they fall into up or down and, in that way, once she got to the future, the future becomes definitive.
No, it's one of the logically sound types of time-travel, the self-fulfilling one. This type of time-travel is based on being unable to change anything.
For me I really don’t understand anything about other dimensions or traveling back to the past or future but I really love this movie as it shows that you can still be happy even though you know you are gonna die soon.

PLOT TWIST: After the 25-year-old Soo-Ah woke up from her coma, she got married and have her son. Then she decided to get herself into an accident every year so that she can visit her family in the future every rainy season. It was one such deliberate accident that killed her.
if she decides to marry someone else then her "future family" wouldn't exist unless we are talking about another time line that was created from that accident she would be jumping not only in time but in time line
Wow so romantic Woo-jin proposing even though his ailing and Soo-ah knowing she would past away in eight years accepting his proposal and having a baby. Bravo, such a awesome idea.
So basically there is a parallel universe to which there are two soo-ah(wife) - 32 years old soo-ah and 25 years old soo-ha. The story was that 25 yrs old soo-ha was the one they found in the tunnel thats why she has no memory of them(she was in a coma due to the car accident when she followed woojin). This 25 yrs old soo-ha saw how happy she would be if she marries woojin even if she will die in a young age. That is why when she woke up from her coma, she decides to rekindle their romance despite knowing her bittersweet future. And by age 32, as expected, she died but she knew that her 25 yr old self will come back to meet them again. So these parallel universe did happen to which two soo-ah really did exist and came back after a year. The movie was mellow although the ending was sad it still gave justice to the parallel universe concept. To which their second meeting(with 25 yr old soo-ah) helped woojin and their son say their final farewell and also have closure from her sudden death. Tho, It was a bit selfish for soo-ah to still marry woojin even though she knows that she will leave them after 8 yrs but i loved how brave she was embracing her future despite it being short lived. This movie was really confusing and a bit slow at first. But as the mystery is lifted it just became touching and even heartbreaking at some point. But still loved the ending where the father and son was able to live together happily even after loosing the mother. The son's character development is really touching as he grew up to be a good person despite his circumstances.
The original Japanese version made me cry so hard as a kid. The soundtrack, acting and background was perfection. I didn't realize they made a korean version. Dang sorry i didn't get notifications guys.. The name of the movie is Be With You.. I think Asian torrents may have it but like I said it was a while ago(like over 10 years ago) I'm not sure where to watch it exactly. Sorry
it was so heartwarming...........and one of my favourite korean actresses is the one who acted as the younger version of the wife, and she acted in my most favourite k drama called "THE PENTHOUSE".....if u like action, murder, mystery, high-school romance and a loving mother-daughter relationship, then u MUST watch it.
And imagining that she kept that secret of knowing all of her future until her death... Because everything after the accident happened after she “came back” at the future (in her pov).
but she wrote it all down in her diary. And Woojin (her husband) reads it right? that's why woojin cried when he read the diary in the epilogue because he knew Soo ah's sacrifice
My mom was happy with my dad for 20 years until when she finally gets to retired and when on holidays with my dad but she ended up getting tumor in brain and passed away, I still watch my dad sits and blankly stares at her pic. He never remarried cuz his heart broken... so yeah brain diseases suck in real life too

@@missrabbit5583 She doesnt techically die when she goes to meet him that day. She just goes into a coma that takes her 8 years into the future. Here she experiences the love of the family that she will have later on. After that, when she returns she choses to go and have the family, she remembers what happened 8 years in the future so she writes the book for her son because she knows the 8 year ago version of her will return after her death. iTs a perfect loop of sorts. I hope this helps.
I didn’t realise Korea made their own version of this story. It’s based on a Japanese novel which had its own Japanese movie adaptation which was pretty popular in Korea when it released.

Back into present, wujin was also telling her even though her parents aren't agree for our marriage but still she married him and also leave her career for him.... After listening everything, suho now beginning to adjust with them and starting doing all the work and then one day she was alone, cleaning the cupboard where she saw a journal made by her for her son before leaving his family, where she mentioned a story of a mother penguin and his son , where the mother penguin who died and seeing his son from cloudland come back to him when the rain came and goes back when the rain end, suha understand everything and she knows that now she has to leave his family, as the rainy season is going to end , after then she cry while watching their old memories with them on tv and feel really emotional and sad , now his son and his husband also knew that she'll be leaving them, so wujin and his high school try to block the tunnel , now here his high school friend also know about suha, when he saw her at first he got scare and thought that she's a ghost but then he believes them that she's really suha, now coming back, the tunnel was blocked by them was now slightly opened by someone, now as it's his son birthday she went to a bakery shop of wujin's high school friend, and buy a cake for his son, and also told him something that we get to know the future . she go back and celebrate the birthday, the next day when She was going to his son's school for watching his performance, she saw that rain has stopped , and ofcourse now it's time for leaving has come, she go to his son's school saw her performance where his son is talking about her, that how his mother taught her how to do household work and manage things, she feel really emotional and after then she ran back way to tunnel , now here in the scene we can see wujin get injured while rescuing his boss who fell in the swimming pool, he got faint and then he suddenly got up and quickly ran towads tunnel as he knew everything, his son who also going towards that tunnel for her mom, after arriving he saw his mother moving into the tunnel , he immediately hugged her and try to confess her not to go , her mom told her that the time has came she has to go , where his son told her that he get to know that she died after some days after giving birth to his son due to weakness, he say that it's all his fault , where his mother confess him that no , it's not true, even if that she has to live 100 Years without him that's worthless, She's really happy with him, .now also in the scene we can that wujin who was running suddenly get faint and fall down but then his wife old memories come in his mind which make to wake up and run towards him, unfortunately , till he arrived, she has a already gone in the tunnel and suddenly disappeared in front of him, ......... Knowing everything about her future she ask her self that can even live without his husband and his son and maybe she survive the accident because in the future his husband and his son is waiting for her with whom she has to spend 8 years of life so she decided to marry Wujin, as she thought she wouldn't be happy with someone else as with his husband and his son, although she knew she will die after 8 years still those eight years that she spent with his loved ones are more precious then spending hundred years with someone else whom she did not even like.... Here, then she immediately ran to wujin and hug him by saying that everything will be OK and we're both made for each other(now this is also the scene when she came back to wujin after breakup).. In the movie we showed a scene where wujin is reading the diary in which Suha written all this and then the diary ended by saying " I was really happy because the time I spent with you is the best time of my life " (this is à time after some years) suddenly his high school friend brings him a cake and say that Suha told him to bring a cake and a greeting card every year on his son's birthday. his son uvi (grown up )read the greeting card and feel really happy and say his mom that he obey his promise that he given to his mother, he now take good care of his father and himself and always be with his father.... From here the movie end, sorry for the bad English 😅😅... We can also define it as a paradox , as when that 22 suha already see the future and decided to go back to marry him, maybe after marrying him , she(32) wrote the journal and already predict that SHe Would come agin at the age of 22.... And then the Story goes again.... OR can be parallel universe also ... REALLY Amazing and beautiful movie!!!💗💗 This movie gives a moral that even though you have less years of ur life but that years that you spent with ur loved ones are equal to those 100 years of anyone' else life & really really precious . It doesn't matter how much u live , it matters how happily you live😍❤️❤️❤️ Love yourself and love your family.... What's happen , happen for good.... We can't predict the future, but we can live the life , how we want to live.....
i really like time travelling/parallel worlds kind of plot, my favorite foreign movie is "13 going on 30", and for asian films a loooot, like this "be with you", "go back couple", "someday or one day", "orange", "time traveller", "the 100th love with you", "miss granny", "your name", "my tomorrow your yesterday"... etc..
Be With You is one of the best romance korean movies I’ve ever watched. It has a beautiful and heartwarming story about a two people that fall in love in unexpected way and got seperated by an accident. Son Ye-jin and So Ji-sub did an amazing job for potraying their roles in this film, not to mention how great and very impressive the child actor who played as their son. I highly recommended this movie for everyone, there’s so many lessons in life that you will learn in this film.
watched this bcs i missed the movie. but when i first watched it, i didn't even know what it was (and that it had a little bit of fantasy and a LOT of drama) i just had someone recommend it to me to watch it. and when i did, my mind was blown. i didn't expect it to be that good. i thought it was just going to be romantic and stuff. i also thought son ye jin rly didn't know them lol so i found the first part a bit weird. i loved their backstory when they were in high school, even though i was frustrated for them to see them almost not developing anything bcs they were both so awkward with each other lmao. so when i got see the twist, i loved it even tho it was so depressing aaaaa.
This is like a less creepy actually beautiful version of Overboard (1987). It also reminds me of The Butterfly Effect (2004) in some ways and I wish the mom could have lived.
This is the sub plot from the 2016 movie arrival. Woman can see into the future. She knows certain events will happen (good and bad), but she follows through with them anyway, because those events make her happy.
This was the only Korean Movie that made cry in almost most of the scenes Till date i recommend this movie to anyone who asks me "What K-Movie should i watch?".

I watched this movie, and I love it so much. To fall in love with the same person, and even time traveling wasn't true, I love movies or anime about time traveling.
This one is one of my favorite! I literally cried after finishing it. It was so good! It's not only about romance, it involves a lot of family theme. I just love it so much!
I was prepared to be disappointed when I watched this version 3 years ago since remakes often do that. But this was just as heartfelt and as beautiful as the original Japanese movie.

I didn’t realise Korea made their own version of this story. It’s based on a Japanese novel which had its own Japanese movie adaptation which was pretty popular in Korea when it released.

A girl (22 years )do a Time travel through an accident and came in 8 years forward in the future where she get to know that his husband and son is waiting for her as they know she'll come at the start of monsoon (rainy season) , While she don't know what's happening but decided to go with them , where she ask his husband wujin about how she met him, wujin tell her that she's an really intelligent girl , while he was a swimmer and almost always slept during his school classes, he tell her that he has a crush on suha (wife) , but they never get to talk to each other but only at the last day of school where she go to wujin for just an official work, After then suha went to a university in Seoul for further studies while wujin go in a school for swimming classes, he tries many times to call her but she never pick up , but one time she pick up the call , they talk to each other and decided to meet somewhere, where then they fall in love with each other, wujin is a professional swimmer and when one day he went for nationals he suddenly faint , doctors told him that he's suffering from a brain disease where the brain is unable to control the hormones due to which he'll eventually faint whenever he's in stress, after knowing it wujin decided to breakup with suha, suha don't know about his problem , 1 year pass they both never had a talk, Wujin decided to go to Seoul for seeing suha for the last time but then he saw suha moving into a car with another guy, he thought that she already
forgot him, he then go back , after some months he received a call from suha where she was saying that she's coming back to him, suha met wujin and told her that she get to know everything why he leave her, now she'll live with him, after then their son was also born...
Back into present, wujin was also telling her even though her parents aren't agree for our marriage but still she married him and also leave her career for him....
After listening everything, suho now beginning to adjust with them and starting doing all the work and then one day she was alone, cleaning the cupboard where she saw a journal made by her for her son before leaving his family, where she mentioned a story of a mother penguin and his son , where the mother penguin who died and seeing his son from cloudland come back to him when the rain came and goes back when the rain end, suha understand everything and she knows that now she has to leave his family, as the rainy season is going to end , after then she cry while watching their old memories with them on tv and feel really emotional and sad , now his son and his husband also knew that she'll be leaving them, so wujin and his high school try to block the tunnel , now here his high school friend also know about suha, when he saw her at first he got scare and thought that she's a ghost but then he believes them that she's really suha, now coming back, the tunnel was blocked by them was now slightly opened by someone, now as it's his son birthday she went to a bakery shop of wujin's high school friend, and buy a cake for his son, and also told him something that we get to know the future . she go back and celebrate the birthday, the next day when She was going to his son's school for watching his performance, she saw that rain has stopped , and ofcourse now it's time for leaving has come, she go to his son's school saw her performance where his son is talking about her, that how his mother taught her how to do household work and manage things, she feel really emotional and after then she ran back way to tunnel , now here in the scene we can see wujin get injured while rescuing his boss who fell in the swimming pool, he got faint and then he suddenly got up and quickly ran towads tunnel as he knew everything, his son who also going towards that tunnel for her mom, after arriving he saw his mother moving into the tunnel , he immediately hugged her and try to confess her not to go , her mom told her that the time has came she has to go , where his son told her that he get to know that she died after some days after giving birth to his son due to weakness, he say that it's all his fault , where his mother confess him that no , it's not true, even if that she has to live 100 Years without him that's worthless, She's really happy with him, .now also in the scene we can that wujin who was running suddenly get faint and fall down but then his wife old memories come in his mind which make to wake up and run towards him, unfortunately , till he arrived, she has a already gone in the tunnel and suddenly disappeared in front of him, .........
After then both father and son live happily nd do all the work together and manage the household work happily together, while doing work he found a letter written by suha before going, she wrote that she already has a crush on wujin before he knows who was she , many times she try to call him but he didn't pickup, then one day she call him and by chance he picked up and they talk to each other and decided to meet , where then they fall in love, she also wrote that when she got a letter where wujin tell about breakup , although she get to know the reason late as she was busy with medical work , but she really break down because of breakup. Then she wrote that "one day when you came to see me in Seoul I was going for somewhere but as it's rain so my friend gave me a ride,( this was the same time when wujin came to meet her but seeing her with someone else he go back, as he thought that maybe she already forgot him) , now on my way i accidentally saw you (wujin) and quickly started to approach you but then suddenly I met with an accident and when I woke up Where i saw myself in the tunnel with you ,you took me towards home but I don't understand anything , but then I get to know everything that I skip 8 years and came into the future
Now here suha get's up into a hospital where she's in coma For almost 6 weeks because of that accident, when she wake up at first she thought that maybe that was a dream but when she went to those places where she also went with his husband and son, she remember everything that it is was not a dream but it all happen in real life meanwhile she has almost a small sight or scene of her future and now she has two choices one that she would go back to wujin ( husband) and marry him , also leads her to die at early age almost at 32 or she would marry someone else by which you can live more. Knowing everything about her future she ask her self that can even live without his husband and his son and maybe she survive the accident because in the future his husband and his son is waiting for her with whom she has to spend 8 years of life so she decided to marry Wujin, as she thought she wouldn't be happy with someone else as with his husband and his son, although she knew she will die after 8 years still those eight years that she spent with his loved ones are more precious then spending hundred years with someone else whom she did not even like....
Here, then she immediately ran to wujin and hug him by saying that everything will be OK and we're both made for each other(now this is also the scene when she came back to wujin after breakup)..
In the movie we showed a scene where wujin is reading the diary in which Suha written all this and then the diary ended by saying " I was really happy because the time I spent with you is the best time of my life " (this is à time after some years) suddenly his high school friend brings him a cake and say that Suha told him to bring a cake and a greeting card every year on his son's birthday. his son uvi (grown up )read the greeting card and feel really happy and say his mom that he obey his promise that he given to his mother, he now take good care of his father and himself and always be with his father....
From here the movie end, sorry for the bad English 😅😅...
We can also define it as a paradox , as when that 22 suha already see the future and decided to go back to marry him, maybe after marrying him , she(32) wrote the journal and already predict that SHe Would come agin at the age of 22.... And then the Story goes again....

Be With You is one of the best romance korean movies I’ve ever watched. It has a beautiful and heartwarming story about a two people that fall in love in unexpected way and got seperated by an accident. Son Ye-jin and So Ji-sub did an amazing job for potraying their roles in this film, not to mention how great and very impressive the child actor who played as their son. I highly recommended this movie for everyone, there’s so many lessons in life that you will learn in this film.
This whole story gives me scary and weird vibes I have no idea why but it just does and at the same time I love it.

but when i first watched it, i didn't even know what it was (and that it had a little bit of fantasy and a LOT of drama) i just had someone recommend it to me to watch it. and when i did, my mind was blown. i didn't expect it to be that good. i thought it was just going to be romantic and stuff. i also thought son ye jin rly didn't know them lol so i found the first part a bit weird. i loved their backstory when they were in high school, even though i was frustrated for them to see them almost not developing anything bcs they were both so awkward with each other lmao. so when i got see the twist, i loved it even tho it was so depressing aaaaa.
