If Lyft showed per hour in LA, a lot of people would quit.
The only people making money in this world are the executives and some shareholders on the backs of all the drivers. Stop making these greedy assholes rich!!!
You need to fight guys…BTW, in both Minneapolis and Seattle it’s immigrant drivers fought hard to get this
I took one ride this morning 28 mins about 7 miles. I then got a request for 22 mile ride for 18.87. I declined it, turned off the app and came home. This past Sunday, I went out and picked up several different trips from downtown Louisville to Airport est 8 miles one way. And I kept getting rides back towards downtown. This was like old times. Almost every rider tipped and one with cash. There was a surge.
Transparency should show what the companies actually took for each ride!
That would be a great comparison! Please do it!! Compare the external fees form Seattle against other states and cities. I wonder! 🤔
The Minnesota fare rate, since it's not guaranteed for every trip, Uber and Lyft will offer same current rates and to bring the rates to guaranteed rates within the pay period, they will offer bonuses and incentives to bump up the numbers.
If we had the same rate here in Los Angeles, it would be at least 50% increase in earnings.
Whatever Uber and Lyft does there going to make sure it's in there favor. Back to square one again. They love to smooze the drivers.
Hi all, this is a different topic however it’s my question. When an Uber driver moves from State to State, can we just power up the app and start working right away while we settle? First time I do this, so trying to get as much info as possible. Thanks
You will have to let Uber and Lyft know where you are going since and upload the correct documentation needed for that new city. Not all states and markets are the same so you will need to let them know
No, you need docs and another BG check most likely
With Uber and Lyft being able to pay out the difference every two weeks, drivers who work harder than others are going to see diminished returns for their efforts.
For example, a driver can work the slowest hours during the week knowing Uber and Lyft will make up the rest while a driver who works the busy nights will end up making less per mile because they are driving their car and not waiting for the kickback from Uber or Lyft.
I'm not saying what's right or wrong, this is just how I see it playing out.
If I remember correctly, data out of Minneapolis showed that passenger demand is pretty inelastic. Elasticity was only .3, so for every 10% increase in the price, demand drops by only 3%. I'm sure there is some elasticity variation within each market due to public transportation options, weather, and so on, but I doubt demand isn't inelastic everywhere. And I think what drivers should be working on too is capping Uber and Lyft's take rate at a max of 25%. $1 per mile and 50 cents per minute should be our minimum nationwide goal. However, the supply of drivers is highly elastic, so if Uber and Lyft pay more, more drivers will hit the road. But if we cap Uber and Lyft's take rate, they might not have to raise trip prices due to that extra money (the lowered take rate) going straight to the driver.
Lyft has made so many changes to the drivers car qualifications since Last October and the algorithm has been or is somehow being modified even more. I haven't been able to earn over 200 in an 8 to 9 hour shift for almost 6 months. Before the changes to lux platform and the way we were able to tap our screen to refresh available rides that maybe other drivers didn't take and you can request a match. Since they made those changes I went from making 225 to 250 avg in an 8.5 day to barely making 170 to 190 in a 9 plus hour day. And I drive an xl qualified vehicle. But I barely get 1 xl ride a day and sometimes none. Every request now is always $3 $4 $5 and usually taking 15 minutes. So even if you accept every dam ride you're still only gonna make 16 to 17 bucks an hour.
300 miles in a week!?!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I do that in a day and half tops LOL
Curb has been up and running for 6 months and not passing tip thru to driver?
1:42:20 damn that’s what I make in San Diego driving black/ suv
I’ve been sending you my earning screenshots every time I get one. I hope you’ve been getting them. Thanks.
There is no bonus or surge fee in twin cities for long time. You my see late night buck or two, when you are off, when sign in it disappear. Demand will go down because of companation new rideshare companies, more driver who are trying to bank and those who are price sensitive. I average about $30 and it's not 20% , it's about 15% and that will make $34.58, $4.5 per hour. Good or bad will see in December.
Vancouver, WA. is part of the Portland Metropolitan Area just like parts of Jersey and CT. are part of the NYC Metro Area.
Any answers on what the " express waiting area "is ? Anyone? When going to the airport instead of going to the normal waiting lot and being in the queue you are sent to the express waiting area with immediate pings jumping in front of hundreds of other drivers☝️
Just look at the waybill...jesus...it amazes how few drivers don't know this
Its a dont drive for lyft thing
The reason Uber/Lyft did this is bec drivers will come way under with short rides but over with long rides. They want averages so we don't figure it out and stop doing short rides.
everything is about money....even with the passengers....if they can get a ride for cheaper they will try it......uber/lyft drivers have until December to recruit new passengers to Wridz....
If you cannot pay a fair wage, you should not be in business. Amen.
And if you cannot make a profit as a driver without government interference, than perhaps you shouldn’t drive
If you are an experienced Minneapolis rideshare driver and you know how to constantly get rides with no downtime, this is a big win! The strategy now will be to minimize pickup time and try to only do rides that are close pickups if you can.
hell no! gamification. They are counting on a majorityvof drivers being naive.
Hey sergio can you help me with my lyft account being deactivated and lyft told me, I have some flags on my driving license but I got a copy of my record it has nothing on it plus i went my local dmv and they also said every thing is fine with my driver license. Lyft, keep telling me to me to come back next week to run a new check on your account.
I have 5 star rating on lyft, and cancelation is less than 2 percent, but my acceptance rate is very low , probably, that's why they punished me.
❤❤❤ Private rides PAYS in San Diego! David is NOT RELEVANT in my MARKET! Evil Dara has WON! However, PRIVATE RIDES PAY! Customers are ASKING to make a DEAL OFF the apps in San Diego, California!!! Rides are BEING CANCELED left and right!
Already said it. Uber has been stealing tips. Got proof for it. Response to When asked why I didn't receive it is tips are optional and that is all support will say.
Break it down to the $$$ per minute, per ride. Oh, this is the hocus pocus stuff.
1:50:14 lol 😂😂😂💀
Dude Sergio is on top of his game!
Drivers getting screwed Uber making more Such a scam!!
Lmao multi billionaire leaves a whole $5.00 tip
I'm sorry, if the poorest sections of every city can afford Uber/Lyft to get them everywhere, the rider fee is too low. We should not be made to be public transportation that includes even the lowest income level. This is my nice car!!!
Not t that 4 real
Join the protests this Thursday at 4 pm at lax
Where exactly ??? Who organized it ?
@@laszlovandor4770 I believe rideshare drivers united. Everyone will drive their cars through departure and make noise and honking. They will put some stickers on the side of their cars
Ofcourse if Uber was to steal the tips it would appear as earning on the statement so Mr Sergio I don’t understand your point here. also why is it ok to keep drivers’ tips for days? That should come with interest.
Uber is such a low bar to compare to for Lyft’s shitafication
Min drivers got screwed surge and quests are extra Uber wins again
It is simple why the clown app Wridz is charging less than Uber Lyft for insurance. Wridz has lower cost currently as a new start up. When claims start rolling in over the next year or two, wridz will be on par with Uber Lyft's take for insurance on every ride. This isnt rocket science.
