A well-observed fact: there have not been even a single "don't touch me" in Unhhhh since season 3 (episode 71) which was a time after Katya's breakdown, finished the following rehab and rekindled her friendship with Trixie (watch the doc Moving Parts for more information). In fact, Katya still has that psychological dislike of being touched but it's been decreased a lot to people she cared for like Trixie. Instead, Katya changed that into a running joke (the electric touch) from the Unhhh show.

So I think she might have a legit aversion to being touched by strangers, and it's more than a funny joke. It is funny, and I love the buzzer, but I think there's a bigger reason to why sometimes her saying "don't touch me" is so quick and so involuntary.
Vegetalli -Dead By Daylight I’ve noticed the same. My cousin used to be like that before she recovered mentally. She would always touch people but freak when touched. It has something to do with her actions/control and rejecting others who she can’t control and also not being mentally prepared to be touched.
This video reminds me of the end of episode 37, “New Year, New You”, where Trixie says, “...my friend, who’s still afraid to let me touch her”. And then Katya says, “but I want it, every day”.
I think it’s like a movie reference ! lol I know Mitch from the show Superfruit says “don’t touch me” to the co host just like Katya does to Trixie haha

Rex The Mouse yeah i think so, she’s kinda open about how she doesn’t like being touched by people unless she initiates it or shes close to them so it’s used as a running joke on the show that she can touch trixie but trixie cant touch her (especially in earlier seasons where they weren’t as close) but she was atleast somewhat serious at that time :)
