@@wilhelmpaulm the thing with katya is that for a large portion of the show she was not sane like literally there were a lot of times they recorded while she probably was close to (or having) a minor manic episode... it's very clear how different the energy is right now. (and i love that it is because it means she is in a much better headspace) so i understand why she reacted the way she did
i love how trixie’s makeup changed throughout the years because you can instantly tell WHEN a video was filmed just by looking at her face
You can also tell bc katyas face goes from deranged cracky to healthy beautiful and full.

I don’t know if I would say this was the first time, considering Trixie basically asked Katya that in the beginning of the Theater episode with “I can’t believe you have not fucked me” but the suggestion was more explicit here lol. Love that Katya is so not about that anymore, good for her!

@@Lara-zb4ok Idk if you've already seen episode 68 but in that episode they talk about how they will move to tv and UNHhhh was going to be over, but the show was cancelled because Katya relapsed and went into rehab. Episode 69 was the first episode after Katya got out of rehab.

Also shows how far she's come. She seems more centred in herself and not trying to just get with anyone for the sake of it now. (No judgment for the way she was though, obviously. We all have our moments)

For all the iconic moments of the earlier seasons, I definitely prefer the calmer energy of the more recent seasons. I think the show hit its stride after the Reunions episode and while not every episode is a winner, the show has never been bad. They're making a lot of jokes lately about running out of steam so maybe it can't go on much longer, but the show has been a treasure for years already :)
We loved the crackhead version of the show, and we love the burnt out working stiff version.

@@Red-rg5ko I think they'll reach it by the beginning of 2023, actually. This here is 186, but on WOW+ it's already 190. They have usually been doing 8-9 episode cycles before a Random and a break. I think they have like 1 or 2 more to go, then Random, then break, and, if I got it right, 200 should be one of the last 3 episodes of the season before the last random

This episode is funny but its kinda sad. These woman build a legacy and they are amazing and loved by it. Sometimes your inner voice just make you feel bad and I wish I could make them feel about themselfs what I feel about those two.
Ngl I was bummed, it feels like recently they're not having fun with unhhh anymore.
i dont really care for when people say "x thing will never be as good as it used to be" but seeing the contrast of how little they genuinely laughed this episode, by the time i finished i just thought, oh, did they even enjoy being there
You also have to remember that during some of the most unhinged and loud, wild early episodes they were going through it with their inner demons and such.
You remember a funny line, they remember the things they were going through.
That's why a (healthy) creative person will dislike watching stuff from their past. They're not that person anymore.

Same! It made me kinda sad how they hated on those iconic moments like I fully know what was going on but those first episodes were the one that really brought us coming back to this day. I get that self-watching cringe cuz I have that too, but nah some of these were genuinely adorable moments 🥺
This was kinda sad, because I love them at all stages of this, I loved when they were wired, and I love them now that they're tired. So seeing them not appreciate themselves was really kinda sad, they've given me so much joy in my life, and continue to.
All jokes aside, this show holds a very special place in my life, so thank you to everyone who made it and keeps making it happen. I truly appreciate it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who watched this and felt sad at how hard on themselves they are. From day one they have been funny, fun and brought so much energy and hilarity to the table, so to see them look back on their past so harshly breaks my heart. As a fan, I rewatch their old and new episodes all the time and still love them just as much as when they first came out. What makes all of them so rewatchable are the moments they had that childlike wonder and weren't hesitant to laugh and play around like no one was watching. I hope they don't feel pressured or forced to do UNHhhh now, I just get the feeling that the spark isn't there for them anymore. No matter what, I hope they know that we love them
As creatives, I think the best/most inventive ones are the hardest on themselves, whether its looking at their past work(s) or a current thing that they're doing.
Just like anyone else thought, they need to take that step back and consider another perspective...without the off-kilter makeup and manic energy, we wouldn't be at episode 186.
The amount of quotes that came from this show alone has kept my mental psyche duct taped together.

I feel like Brian is getting closer and closer to retiring Trixie - as he's said in some interviews doing drag is not where he sees himself being in a few years and certainly not as he gets closer to 40.
