Some people might not recognize the production value here. Been on a mediocre amateur watching spree lately. Thanks for the hours of entertainment Danny et al!
Y’all should just like meet up with Blake for lunch or something and film it. I don’t even care if he’s injured, I just wanna see that the Blizz is alive and well.
People have asked over and over and over what Blake's up to and how he's doing. Do us the courtesy of letting us know. EDIT: Saw below that he has a knee injury. I know all us fans of the channel wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back soon. Please send him our best wishes.
"balance the chi among the frantic pace and non-chill mentality that would totally consume them if i didn't show up" lmao! this is the best channel. you guys are the most grounding. peace and love and stuff
Blake is very much missed that’s for sure, but so awesome that you guys finally finished this climb, I literally watched the first attempt video 3 days ago, and this video popped up in my recommendation list, I was like wait a minute, I just watched this video couple days ago, but then I noticed, it’s so nice!! Your are an awesome motivation to go back to the wilderness after this crazy times! Thank you for all this awesome work that you put on the videos! The music always on point by the way!!! 👌🏻🔥🙌🏻
Well this is a lot better than the video of you guys running on treadmills for like 13 hours in your basement, which is what I was expecting for your next vid.
I'm still amazed that someone, anyone, would click "down thumb" on these productions. These guys are friggun GREAT! & finally the Axes come out...serious! And Christof's Ice Turns, that "Chatter" says it all. I can imagine his thighs aching! "Don't Slip! Don't Slip!
Excellent documentation guys!! The group dynamics and Kristoff's stellar vocabulary always a good watch. Hope everyone is doing well! Keep on keepin on!
Stunning! All of it. Power ascending and perfect restraint descending. A straight very sharp edge with no side cut works wonders in those conditions. La Croix made them for Slalom.
Hey! I'm planning to go in about a month as well! Looking everywhere to see which trails are open as I'm not sure whether it's being updated during covid. Any ideas?
You drove off with your shoes on the hood of the car! Another great video of a special outing. I've loved my adventures in the Tetons (some of them only afterwards, though..)
Love your channel. You seriously inspire me to get out there. I’m based in TN so there are some awesome trails and spots around, but I’d love to make it out West more often.
I've been watching your channel for a few years now. You guys are an inspiration to the outdoor enthusiasts. I do a lot of trail races and such in Montana. Just curious if any of you guys ever do trail races. I'm signed up for a 50 miler in the Elkhorns, and also the RUT 28k at Bigsky Resort.
I am so envious! My knee replacement started failing almost 1 year ago leaving me stuck at my condo in north Thailand barely able to walk or get to real doctors and hospitals. As soon as this virus freakout is over I will go somewhere and try to get that knee repaired. So far I have had 8 knee operations. Take a tip for an old ski bum. Protect those knees!
SKETCH CHEE!! Might be the 3rd pint of coffee talking, but my heart was racing as soon as i saw that you guys hadn’t even reached the snow by sunrise. Im used to trying to summit at sunrise, before a decent like that. Have a feeling all three used up one of their cat lives that day. Stay safe out there🤙
I absolutely adore these videos. Keep thinking, though, how is it possible that you guys are magnitudes more accomplished and better than me, yet I have been to so many more of the greater ranges (Andes, Himalayas) like you. I figured, since I only get to go on an adventure every few years, it really have to count. Nevertheless I'd love to see a bunch of videos from you from the Cordillera Blanca/Huayhuash or really from any exotic locations.
Great videos man a truly fantastic channel!! Given the excellent quality of your videos I am going to go out on a limb and say that you are using A Sony Full Frame.. Maybe an A7iii? (Possibly an A6600?)Set me straight, what are you using?
Hey! I have a suggestion for some future adventures! In southern Cali, there is a mount called San Gorgonio Mountain (11,500 ft tall) that seems really fun and tough to climb. There are multiple routes up the mountain, the most popular one being the Vivian creek trail. It’s 17.5 miles out and back and it is mainly just trail, but in the winter there is some good mountaineering sections. Another route in Southern Cali is Mount San Antonio otherwise known as Mount Baldy (10,064 ft tall) via The devils backbone. It’s a 14 mile trail out and back and in the winter it can get pretty extreme. Both really fun mountains that have a lot of potential for some good adventures. Thanks for reading! I hope these are interesting. (All the trail data is available on AllTrails.)
@Mediocre Amateur thoughts on the G3 Findr skis on hard snow, particularly edge grip? I’m tossing up between the 86mm version and the Salomon MTN Explore.
I vaguely recall the avy beta except i think i recall coming up to the saddle is pretty sketch and looks like you guys stayed lookers left to ascend.. If I recall this you guys rode down probably above 35 degree grade stuff
I love your impeccable high standards for safety...."It's absolutely safe until it's not" :)...I'm looking into investing in life insurance where I'm the beneficiary :)
Sweet. Add Sierra High Route to the list. Also known as Sierra Haute Route. Been trying to traverse it west to east in under 30 hours for several years. 40 miles of high elevation sierras, it’s beautiful. Would love to see someone do it under 24 hours.
how tall is Christoph and what size Dynafit shirt does he wear? I'm between a small and medium and can't decide which way to go and can't find a retailer that will let me try them on until covid becomes more manageable. thanks for any help you can give me!
great adventure. However surprised you guys were not using micro spikes on the snow/ice trek up. Made me nervous watching you guys in normal trail runners.....
Let Blake know that he is very much missed.
Yes! Hope you're doing well Blake!!!
Some people might not recognize the production value here. Been on a mediocre amateur watching spree lately. Thanks for the hours of entertainment Danny et al!
Christof wins the insanity award for skiing down an ice covered cliff!. Glad you guys are back, I was about ready to send an effing search party out!.
💯✨
Good to see y'all back, we missed you guys!
Figgun DITTO!!!!
Only if you're a yuppie loser lol.
Y’all should just like meet up with Blake for lunch or something and film it. I don’t even care if he’s injured, I just wanna see that the Blizz is alive and well.
Do you fear they left him somewhere in the mountains?
YESSSSS. Needed something from you guys today!!
Thank goodness you're still posting!
MOAR!

He has a knee injury
@@graemesmith5175 Thank you.
Yep torn meniscus here in the Pacific Northwest - NOT happy at all watching Spring snows just. melt. away... Get well Blake!!!
"jumping on a pogo stick" lololol
Pretty sure there was some sort of stick involved.
Danny is always complaining and likely exaggerating noise whenever he camps/stays at a hotel. lol
I want a Mediocre Amateur sticker.
Yeah where's the merch??
@@ajduker they have merch.
Their line is awesome got a hat and a hoodie. Shirt next

Watching this makes me happy. Thanks for posting.
Yes, been missing these!
That was so cool, this is my favorite youtube channel by far.
I just jammed the brakes on my work day to stop and watch this. You guys have the best content on UA-cam. Keep it up!
Such a great channel.
God Bless You that was incredible. Nicely done.
In case you haven’t heard this today. Your filmography is AmaXing! You guys rock and I absolutely love every video.
Well this is a lot better than the video of you guys running on treadmills for like 13 hours in your basement, which is what I was expecting for your next vid.
An instant Mediocre classic! Glad you got redemption from your first trip to the Middle Teton oh so long ago
Just ordered a MA trucker hat. Guess I'll finally retire my St. Louis Cardinals hiking hat. Love the channel.
New episode .....awesome
Missed you, welcome back!
Awesome guys ! This is why we love Jackson ! Thx for sharing ..

Two thumbs up. Amazing, as usual.
Excellent documentation guys!! The group dynamics and Kristoff's stellar vocabulary always a good watch. Hope everyone is doing well! Keep on keepin on!
When that soundtrack come on, it puts you in that mediocre groove! Badabing
Don't understand most of what they are talkin about but love these guys.
👍👍👍
Great videos - beautiful scenery - informative and well narrated. Thanks much.
Man, I love you guys.
Nice video, very inspirational and funny. I think we're all ready to get back out there.
Stunning! All of it. Power ascending and perfect restraint descending. A straight very sharp edge with no side cut works wonders in those conditions. La Croix made them for Slalom.
Brilliant stuff. I am SO looking forward to next winter. Hello from the UK.
I love your videos so much! Thank you for continuing to make them.
Thank you for posting another video with you crushing it!! especially middle teton I'll be there in 3 weeks to see how I fare

Thanks for putting a big grin on my face!
Thank you, I really needed this video. Outstanding video gentlemen.
Do I need to say it again? 🤔
Best UA-cam channel ever! 🌎
Y'all are such an inspiration and prove that anything is possible. 🙏🏼☮️🧡🤳😁
Beautiful mountain, glad you guys got to ski down it!!!
Thanks for another excellent adventure!!

Simply Epic you guys. Glad you all made it safe.
Thank you. This is just the inspiration I needed today.
"I'm here to balance the chi", so true Christof! I'd go with Christof and Blake are the "chi" balancers to ensure that Danny doesn't run amok ;-)
Perfect timing. I needed a break from all the craziness. Been enjoying everything on yall's IG as well.

Hard climbing on the snow to get to top, steep downhill skiing. Thanks for sharing.
You guys are awesome. That's all I got to say
loving the turns great stuff
Everyone needs to share this channel on other social media, IG FB .
So good. I've been looking for this.
Yes, where is Blake. It's not quite the same without him. Love all your videos.
Sketch... is one word to describe all this video
Welcome back!!
Hey are you going to do a video climbing Everest or any mountain in the Himalayas
9:41 Whew those icy turns gave me a pucker!
Oooooohhhhh yeah!
That last steep uphill section definitely looked puckering! No fatalities = win.
What happened to Blake?
He ate too many cherry pies
@@jeremyecton3659 😂
Too fat and wheezy
Knee injury. He will be back
Thanks guys. Good to have you back.
Oh man that ski looked steep!
Great work like always guys 💪
You guys should create snap chats and put them in the description so that we can follow them and see your climbs in real time!

What width Findr's you guys on? Been running the 86's for two seasons and dig them as my spring and "hasn't snowed in 2+ weeks" ski.
So the G3 Findr performed well in these conditions. Maybe that will be my next touring ski...
@Mediocre Amateur thoughts on the G3 Findr skis on hard snow, particularly edge grip? I’m tossing up between the 86mm version and the Salomon MTN Explore.
The organ music at 4:30 is perfect for the background.

Who's shoes got tied to the windshield wipers? I like that method!
