The issues would be debated, the public educated, and then a vote taken. Votes that fail will have to wait a year before trying again. Any new proposal (Citizen Initiated Referendum) would have to reach a threshold of support before it made it onto the register. This would all be subject to a Social Contract (New Constitution) that forbids human rights abuses and discrimination, that can be written in the same manner based on the core principles we all share. Councils and Boards could operate in a similar fashion at Scale.

I like the fact that you tell the truth. I do have a little advise if I may. I am from Namibia, a country that underatands what 28 years of war under foreign occupation does to a people. Three decades since independence and we are doing ok...the scars are there and run deep but we are proud of our independence. I was part or our resistance as a teenager and have been blessed to have worked with all three Namibian presidents in the field of marketing. This includes our founding father, Dr Sam Nujoma.
It is great that you offer info on all fronts. I stand on your side when it comes to defending against an occupation. It is however important to report facts and try to remain unbias. This is not only good for the reporter but also for his sources. As soon as personal emotion is included in the story, it resuces the ability for the viewer to digest the truth and allow their own emotion seeds to take hold. Most media has a bias. This is normal. I have consulted for multiple media houses in Namibia, commercial and national and have found it to be the biggest struggle for journalists.
I am sure there are political and military struggles on both sides that need reporting. I am sure there are amazing resistance cadres who have a plan for the future of Palastine after the war? The world is blinded by western media. So few other news sources get through. The few that get through are lost when personal views and emotion take hold.
American media has no credibility because they only point at one side and never push against the other side. No political system is perfect. After our independence, a lot went wrong because the book was not closed. All political sides commited crimes during the war. A new government should have closed the book in the newly established court and all sides should have been taken to task for crimes against the people. They didnt and this led to corrupt deals with the west which kept our people in poverty.
Long story short. You are awesome. Keep doing amazing work. This is only the opinion of an old man.
