I liked this movie because she is trully acting and representing herself..the same biography,the same personality.never found love .also,i read there is no alcohol,smoking,drugs,plastic.she drinks from glass bottles.although exaggetsted,she is much revealed in this movie
she takes remarkable care of herself. glad she doesn't drink blood or meditate on fake positivity or whatever imaginable thing necessary to look good.
And the girl losing makes it more real… we are used to everything “ perfect “ and Losing can also be a great story

This film is ADORABLE!
This film was by no means a special one. It's sorta like Notting Hill. However, I particularly enjoyed this movie and definitely a solid one as far as rom-coms go. Owen and JLo had such a good weird chemistry tbh.
"The Wedding Planner" with Matthew McConaughey is much better.
This is such a similar story like Notting hill but in 2022 and not in the 90’s style the story is so similar in every way a famous person falling for a ordinary man just like it was in the movie Notting Hill
But there is more drama,shows,created a full album.i think more like star is born.the movie although a rom com dealt with significant issues,such as cheating,pr life,fake relationship,loneliness.but they made it funny and not sad

This movie would not have worked with younger actors. It reminds me more of Something's Gotta Give than Notting Hill which most reviews and comments suggest.

It may not look like it to a guy, but the dress is flexible. You're not gonna win any races, but you can run in it. It's running in that style of shoes that's hard. Running in stilettos is an accident waiting to happen.

I personally like the movie "angel eyes" even more. Her performance in that one is really amazing and I do like the story and relationship within it a lot. It may not be that well known, so if you should not know it, it is well worth the shot.

A 2020’s version of nothing hill, female music stars today are way bigger than movies stars, compare to the 90s , just look at the success of Taylor switch, I can’t compare that to any Hollywood actress right now , makes sense that a new version of nothing Hill would change the leading lady from a actress to a singer
I think you're right. Emma Stone, Margot Robbie, and Halle Bailey (also a singer and somewhat new to acting) are a few that come to mind who were in recent big movies and are great actresses.

I just watched it. Owen Wilson of all ppl. They couldn’t have picked a better looking actor ? Lol This movie gives regular guys unreal expectations. Although, it also points out what happens when women choose great looking guys with too many options.
Owen Wilson's a good-looking guy and seems like a nice person, you know people have different "types", right? Also, it's not just about appearances. She made a very quick decision to marry him in the first place, not a wise one either or one I'd recommend but it ended up working out.
Interesting idea that it gives regular men unrealistic expectations, you might be right but hopefully they realize it's just fiction.
It's funny how things can work out in the end if you let them always let them one foot at a time

Okay I came here for some bashing of the movie from the comment section, but hardlyy! People turns out to love this movie! To me its soooo typical and predictable story line! But i like Owen Wilson because of his style of acting. But the movie is so typical but people love? I’m surprised! I mean its sooo cheesy that Owen’s character falls for her, when in reality, cos she’s a big star. In no way most people would refuse that, eventhough his character depicts a genuine person? So cheesy!
Some people liked it including me, others didn't. Of course it's predictable, they're not watching it because it's some M Night Shyamalan movie with a clever twist ending, they're watching because it's cute and the couple have chemistry.
Honestly, I would not marry a celebrity out of the blue like he did, I would have to know them first. That would normally be a stupid thing to do and I remember even the reporters point out that it's unusual.

Interesting that that's a western thing. I would say yes a lot of Hollywood and Disney movies have that and I've never understood it either. In real life the pastor or whoever says, "You may kiss the bride" after a couple is married, but other than that it's not usually considered appropriate to kiss in a public place.
One movie I can think of that breaks the mold is Sleepless in Seattle, it's not G either though.

I kind of liked it. But that's because I didn't think they were trying to push JLos' character's words as the message of the movie, she's a person who has been divorced a few times, and is an out-of-touch celebrity, so she is not the best role model.
