As a guy that lives in Memphis and supports the Tigers. I’m happy James Wiseman decided to choose Memphis. And for those wondering why it’s because he lives down here in Memphis and attends East High School. He also played for Penny in AAU. And also cause he knows Penny is putting together a competitive team and that we can win.
Damn that uproar, thats a great feeling right there baby!

Yet again disproving Tubby Smith's efforts to demoralize the fanbase. In less than 1 year, Penny has proven Tubby was just a vehicle of disinformation and reduced expectations. From Tubby's claim that "no Memphis player wants to play at the Univ of Memphis anymore" to 6 Memphis high school players Tubby would have lost. GTG. Suck it, Dakich.
