One thing you will have to do is make a access hole for your manual primping pump for fuel.Neex to get to it for filter changes. It is in front of the battery box. 👍
Just an idea guys, where the corflute over laps you may want to tape it up to make it water tight, otherwise water will get in there and sit against the underside of your wooden floor.
for future reference im sure liquid nails will be ok. But I would use a sikaflex 252 or similar (panel bond) . loving your work found you on motorhome building and travel Australia
@@OneForTheRoad love your guys honesty. That’s why I watch channels like yours it’s all not rainbows and we all can’t be experts on anything. Hell if I started singing on UA-cam people would pay me to stop 😆.
looking good keep coming with them video's I got ask how much is wood here is USA just 1 sheet of plywood 4x8x3/4 is $80 I'm so happy our floor is already done we gonna put fence slats on the walls we want it to look rustic well y'all have a great day
Hey there! This flooring was $38 and it 3.6m x 80cm x 19mm. So 11.8ft x 2.6ft .74inch. Sounds significantly cheaper over here! From what I've seen, all the DIY and building materials have skyrocketed in price in the US and Canada since Covid? The fence slats sounds like a lovely idea!!
Sorry to be the barer of bad news but giving the temperature of the undercarriage & natures aspects I don’t think corflute is a great idea, yes it can be weather resistant but it’s not heat resistant & sparking although it’s a good idea won’t give full effect of protecting the chipboard as it WILL eventually swell & go brittle & good night to your floor. I did mine in marine grade ply , it’s resistant to all natures aspect…. Wish you well
That’s 💯 why we decided to keep our existing marine ply. To get a similar result would’ve set us back about 1250 dollars… and ain’t no musicians willing to pay that for a sub floor haha
Thanks! That's so good to hear 😊 Our original time frame was 6 months, but we spent the last year and a half living in New Zealand and completely underestimated the Aussie heat and so barely touched it over the Summer 😅😅 We're working on it every day now so hopefully just smash it out. We already have alot of our expensive equipment like solar so that shouldn't be an issue 😊
@@OneForTheRoad No. Thank fully the back room is tiles and where I keep and breed african cichlids in IBC totes, so it's used to having water sloshed on floor. What came in was stinky and muddy, but cleaned up with a good mopping.

Great work guys .. fantastic job Gill
Thanks!! 😁😁😁
love watching your progress and wish I to could do it myself but disability sucks our goes to professionals Saturday after Easter to get started on
Thanks! That sucks that you can't do it yourself, but yours will probably be finished before ours with the professionals doing it! :)
How fantastic was the rain? Very good build series so far, can't wait to see the final product.
Thanks! The rain was very welcome.

No tips or advice but loving watching it all come together. Have you got a time frame for it to be finished or open ended ??

@@MELODYMUNRO That's good the hear! It doesn't stink so much flood water.. we went under in the 2011 floods so know how badly it smells!
