Thank you so much! I’m on the last part of chapter 3 in class. However, I still struggled with 3.1, though I read and practiced problems in the book constantly. Then, I came across this and all of sudden, it’s smooth sailing! Better explanations then my teacher! The test I’m studying for is the last, math test of the year. It’s this Thursday. I can guarantee that I can at least do better than I usually do with this newfound understanding. I really want to give my all into this final for a strong finish! I learned in more in 9 minutes from you, than in a week, from my teacher!
Great lesson Anthony.....I'm so impressed with these color coded math lessons. As a teacher, it's helped me in my own classroom with visual learners. I myself am very visual and this has been a great tool! Can you post the answer for your final question please? Keep up the good work!
Is there any way you can make a short video solving the problem you offer at the end of this one? I understand the entire concept and I looked at your answer as well...Unless I am doing something entirely wrong, I cannot figure out how to solve this last one.
For the answer I got -28. This is what I did. 4x+38=2x-18 I subtracted 2 from both sides and got 2x+38=-18 Then I subtracted 38 from both sides and got 2x=-52 Finally, I divided it and got -28. Do you think you can correct me on what I did wrong and explain to me why I did that? Thanks. By the way, I think your videos are cool too. Your rotations and slope video really helped me a lot. To be honest, I am 13 too, so most likely I got this question wrong as well.

thanks so much for this i am starting geometry this year and so far I have a 50 percent in it. this helped me understand what my geo teacher was to busy rushing through to help me understand. THANKS SO MUCH.
Since the given angles are supplementary, their sum is equal to 180 degrees. First, (4x+38) + (2x - 18) = 180. When you combine like terms, you get 6x + 20 = 180, which becomes 6X = 160, or x = 26.67.
I really loved the beginning of the video and the concepts you taught. I'm wondering why you only glossed over the vocabulary: corresponding angles and did not address Alternate interior or exterior angles, both important concepts. I would have used your video for a lesson if it had all the vocab. Thanks!
Wait I'm confused like um how do you know if it is a corresponding alternate exterior and alternate interior? That is what's giving me so much trouble.
Interior are a pair of angles on the inner side of each line but opposite sides of the transversal / 1 / 3 ____________ 4 / 5 / 2 / 3 Two and five are alternate interior and four and three are alternate exterior

how do i explain a geometric angle relationship from the video?
Can you please explain me how to do the last question you gave?
Since the given angles are supplementary, their sum is equal to 180 degrees. First, (4x+38) + (2x - 18) = 180. When you combine like terms, you get 6x + 20 = 180, which becomes 6X = 160, or x = 26.67.
MashUp Math where did you get 6x? If you do the oppisote of 2x it's -2x and subtract it on the other side:4x-2x it's supposed to give you 2x. right?
Jackie 101 He added the same terms. He added 4x and 2x

hey thanks man we have a quiz after our break and i have no idea how to figure out the angle from transversal lines

How exactly do you find x
Logan Mcdonald Theres is a U when you look carefully and you know the sum of interior angles of U equals 180 so 4x+38+2x-18=180

Cant have a negitive in an angle.
