@@MowerJunkiei bought turner plus 2 mic yesterday for 25$ on flea bay they wanna 60$ for it and guy offer 50$ so i went down on the offer i told him i need this mic for my cb and ham radio he accepted paid 39$ it was 10$ shipping it's coming from alabama it pose come this week.
That's super cool! Thank you for bringing that to our attention. Now I'm curious if it would work with the vox on my Lincoln II+. 😁😁😁😁 Not that the vox is necessary. But that's one of the reasons, I bought the radio was for the hands free option. With all the stuff about texting and driving etc, this is a great thing to keep the law off our backs.
I just looked this up on the president web sight and I was surprised to learn that this mic also has the 5 level noise reduction circuit like the digi mic does. These seem to be hard to find for sale right at the moment. I need to learn how to use the qr code you show there. Lol
Hello: Mr Mower Junkie. I seen a video where you were installing the 1/2 wave Silver rod base antenna. I have two Radio Shack / Archer 1/2 wave aluminum base antennas that were made by Hy-gain in the late 70's to early 80's. I find the swr goes up from a 1.1:1 to a 1.6:1 when it rains & I wanted to know if the Silver rod 1/2 waves have the same issue. Also would it be worth putting longer ground planes on it rather than the 12" long ones it comes with.
I don't remember if the silver rod did that, But the Sirio GPE 27 aluminum antenna I have in the air now will do the same, the SWR jumps up when it's wet. I'm going to be taking that antenna down because of that issue.
@@MowerJunkieThanks for the reply. Ya the old Radio Shack one I got has seen better days & there is so little out there of decent quality. I had a A99 but they are splatter sticks & I find they have noisy receive compared to an aluminum antenna.
@@MowerJunkie I have read online that the Sirio you have has issues with water getting into the coil & causing issues too. I'm almost tempted to just put up a Starduster. I don't run power, just a stock Uniden Washington.
Mower junkie So that Bluetooth dongle requires 12 volts and the any tone radios only provide six through the pin That's why it won't work on the 6666 you could do a mod increasing the voltage to the pin unlike the president radios which provide 12 volts through the pin So If you could get it up to 10 ,11 volts it should work since the wiring is the same on the Anytone 6666 I believe you should ask the guys at worldwide DX radio form guarantee they would love to tackle that project but I don't see why it wouldn't work if you could just simply increase the voltage to it seems simple enough
Wear the mic on your chest like a Star Trek badge communicator.
I am impressed. President keeps designing new products that are awesome. Thank you for your review!
You could be working away in the shed and have the mic strapped on your wrist like a watch lol
The sound quality sounds great John
Good sounding mic/setup !!
Wasn’t sure if I would like it, but got to admit it sounded pretty good
Works great on the base!!!
You could also try to find a President liberty mike if you want to use it around the house.
I would see try other older cb radios.
Very cool mic UDX-151.
Thanks Foxman.

I just saw this on there Instagram. Cool
Have try this Bluetooth mic on other cb radios?
UDX-390 he needs get one you can two do cb radios at time one in base and mobile in your car doing those livestreams skip videos.
Do they make a 4 pin version?
Let me know if does talk skip UDX-151 do a skip video on it.
Wonder how it well it handles a noisy cab, let with the window open?
I forgot to mention that it has an adjustable 5 level noise reduction circuit, so it would probably do very well in a noisy cab.

It would never work in my Pete! And I would never connect it to the steering wheel.
Try it on the Quad 6
I did, it didn't work on the 6666
@@MowerJunkieIf work quad6 it should work on a quad5........
You sound like you're from Massachusetts or Rhode Island
Yes I am, I lived in Massachusetts most of my life.
Thanks for watching, Take care.
