i’ve been using a bujo for 3-1/2 yrs and love them. i’ve gone from full blown to minimal and have settled somewhere in the middle. but u really inspired me to make my next one from an altered book. i am loving the process of putting it together even though it’s not what i’m used to (drawing all my own charts and boxes and spreads). please keep showing us ur process! also, i’m american but i too like my weeks to start on monday! thx!!

I really need to do a book like this. It's on my mental To Do list. My favorite place to find old books is at an antique fair that opens only twice a year. Sadly, because of Covid, both openings were canceled this year. You have inspired me to tear more than fussy cut images lately and it's such a time saver as well as looking nice! I'm loving using the images from your shop!

Sunday is the first day of the week because of God's Word, the Bible. Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week. There are other examples, also. America's roots are Judeo-Christian. Hello. I love this process. If you want to add Tacky glue to your bottle, you can add a touch of water. You will have to shake the bottle before each use.

I'm loving the Mushroom spreads, I was thinking of changing my video planner I get fed up with flipping backwards and forwards in it.... So this is really helpful on what I can change for next year.... Its also lovely seeing you decorate the pages with your mini collages... 😁🌼😘

I love tearing! It feels less rigid...which I like! Good job tracking your steps! I try for 9k 5 days per week. Will move to 10k soon but your right sometimes it’s hard to find the time.
I find if I don’t make it a priority I won’t be able to do the 10K. It’s not easy, but if it was easy it wouldn’t be worthwhile 😃

Thank you for this video!! I love paper crafting and making journals, but I always wonder what to do with it after I make it. I love journaling, but I write A Lot and need lots of space. This is a great way to make something I love and yet it's functional!!
Hi Barbara, I have made my "journal - date book - tracker" I used an old book from my library and followed your plan for the sections & pages. I love it. I love altering books so that was lots of fun and I am excited there will be some writing and collage pages in with the calendars and places to keep lists, etc. Thanks so much for the ideas & inspiration!

Love this! I found a lovely book in a charity shop, started working on it, and then looked at the story. Wrong way to do it! The story was unsavoury and based in the War. I have a dilemma because I really like the look of decorations and text. I see you covered your story up which would be one way, but I want the text look. Ooh, I will have to think on this... !

Hi Nicky I started using an altered book but don't like the text generally as it's a book on the Navy and submarines etc. I sometimes look for some semi interesting text and then try and collage around it but mostly I cover it with more interesting text.... Hope that's helpful 😊😊🌼

I used blank address labels for each week day, on my last altered book, which worked perfectly to randomly cover the scary parts of the fairy tale book I used. I used ink sprays and pads, to color up the labels, and had fun drawing out day/dates on them each. I then added random goodies from the week, too. Fabric snips, labels from embroidery floss, etc.

I've always thought that you are better off using books with sewn-in signatures, and books that are only glued could fall apart when you start removing pages. Can you clarify if that's what you meant? Or did you get it mixed up? Not trying to be critical, just wouldn't want people's books falling apart!
Also, if you buy an 8oz bottle of Art Glitter Glue, you can use it to refill your bottle and it's a little cheaper per ounce. I really don't think tacky glue will work with that tiny tip!
Hi Michele! I did mean to use a glued book for this method. If you would just randomly tear out pages if they are sewn in, it would fall apart. If they are glued in it doesn’t matter where you tear them out. My book is holding up great. My art glitter glue was empty today and I refilled it with tacky glue and added just a little bit of water and it works just fine 😊. Thanks for tip with bigger bottle though, I haven’t seen those yet.

I find I watch for your videos too lol. I made a planner junk journal thing from an old ring binder planner and hand wrote my week days and dates in. I don't do a monthly overview though. I do have to-do and gratitude spots too.

Found a Readers' Digest Condensed book, similar to the one you have, I'm eager to start. Having a difficult time starting the month. Could you provide a list of pages and their order?
Awesome you found a book that you are happy with! 😃. It’s not about what works for me, but what works for your needs. I have an intro to the month with a quote, a monthly overview, my 10k step tracker and then I start with the weekly calendar on one side and the to do and gratitude on the other for the rest of the month. At the end of each month zu have a summary page. I might switch it up in the future though. It’s all about experimenting and finding what works for your life and priorities....

Thanks Ida! I rip 7 pages out between each set of pages I glue together. So I tear out 7 and glue together 2 pages to hide the tear, then rip out 7 again. I hope that make sense! 😊

Question: does the Art Glitter glue tend to solidify when the weather gets cooler? I’ve heard that that glue can solidify in cold weather. I ordered it once from Amazon and half the bottle was solid and dried out. I returned it and haven’t ordered it since.
