I'm glad I'm not the only one that can still appreciate the beauty in Morrowind. Yes you can reuse the Star btw, it gets really valuable with strong souls inside it
@@MickyD You can reuse the Star and summon a Golden Saint over and over again to capture it's soul, so you can use it to Enchant your gear with Constant Effects. It's quite overpowered if you use it right.

Trama root is a more common ingredient to mix with racer plumes for levitation potions. Also, the requirements for summoning Daedra in Oblivion aren't nearly as strict as they are for Daggerfall. You can only summon a Prince on their Summoning Day, which comes only once a year. (Except for Sheogorath, who can be summoned during a thunderstorm).
Azura's Star can soul trap Vivec's Soul, interestingly enough. It's the only thing that can hold the 1000 enchantment point god souls. If you ever wanted to turn, say, Almexia into a nice pair of shoes.
I don't know much about Hlaalu I think they're best for sneak characters, and Telvanni is for Sorcerers, I think House Redoran is the Big-Strong mercenary Faction, best for our Orc Hero.

You could get the amulet of mark and the amulet of recall! No enchanting required. You can travel instantly, making it perfect for when you finish a quest :D

There is a reason in all my times playing Skyrim, i can never go for the black star in Azuras quest there. I've learned my lesson, I will never do anything to anger Azura ever again.

However since I played Morrowind back when it came out, thus before Skyrim, and I saw what she could do when she got angered. Call it Rp, or whatever, but I cannot in good conscience pick the black star over Azura's. Even tho techically the black star is superior. Just watch out for when Azura captures your soul, brings it to Moonshadow, and torments you for eternity for going behind her back :) Eternity is a long time :)

Asura's star was always one of the first quests I did when I could, infinite grand soul gems was priceless for making truly crazy gear. Asura's Star + Soul Trap + Summon Golden Saint = Cash Money
I really like to use it for constant effects. Though most items cannot hold constant effect enchantments or if they can, they can only hold weak ones, like fortify attribute for 12 pts or something. Exquisite Clothing and Trinkets are pretty good though.
Not sure if you've been told this already but if you're looking to join the warrior house it's Redoran. Hlaalu are Roguish. You could make a unique character for both of those and the Telvanni, could be an interesting series. I'd watch it.

Sometime for fun make a complete chameleon set. Shirt pants 2 rings 1 amulet. And a complete set of armor. I made one for my late husband after an Ordinator killed his pet in Mournhold. He went around killing Ordinators and putting their helmets on the seats in the arena in Vivec. He never got a bounty cause no one could see him. 😂
I'd say join Telvanni. They are amusing and have some tasty magic toys. Redoran are your basic honor chads, and Hlaalu are all politics. Though Curio is adorable.

You can steal all 4 master alchemy equipment at Caldera mages guild without anyone seeing you, and then just place them on the ground and then into your inventory and they won't me marked as stolen.
A boat mod would be great if you could eventually enchant it with levitation. Take your entire house and all your dumb, hoarded treasure with you anywhere!
Do house Telvanni for some unique spells, and then go to Dren Plantation and kill Orvas and find his notes and take them to the duke and he’ll promote you to the highest rank in house Hlaluu for stopping the drug trade. Fun exploit to get two manors
He doesn't necessarily have to use vsync, he could also just have limited the fps. That's a common problem, if you play older games on a too high framerate. You move faster than the game can handle and therefore it glithes out, clipping you through walls and the floor. Same thing happened with the first Dark Souls PC Port. Was locked to 30 FPS and when you modded it to 60 FPS you sometimes fell through the floor when you slid down ladders, because you were moving too fast for the game to handle.
It's absolutely painful to watch people play without using the Boots of Blinding Speed. Hint* make a spell at the Mages Guild that is "Resist spell 100% for 1 second on self" before putting on the boots. Still great to be revisiting all these old places.
It still the best in the series, purely because it feels so different to standard fantasy. Hopefully openmw keeps extending it to be massively improved
In Skyrim the lowest levels you can be to get a deadric artifact is lv 10 I think. And if I am not mistaken it is Volendrung. ( No idea if that is how you spell it’s name). And you still need troll fat and a deadra heart.
Imperial Shrines are for restoring attributes. Been playing this game online and have been loving it. I failed Azura's quest like an idiot and had to trade for Azura's Star off another player.
dude.. I am all for using public transport for a bit of a chill time but you should really go and buy mark and recall spells because that video was just you failing to master your levitate spells and enchantments. I love your videos dude but that one was a slog fest

You can use Azura's Star to trap vivec's soul, which is the largest soul in the base game, and make some insane enchantment with it.
Given the history of those two it makes it all the more hilarious
you can capture almalexia’s soul in tribunal. her soul is 50% larger than vivec’s, at a soul strength of 1500 and azura’s star’s value is 7,500,000

Morrowind is so pretty, even without mods besides a modernized engine. Art direction is so damn good.

Those slaughterfish were put there by the cliff racers, of course. They are always panicking that the PC might steal their dinner.

Way too late to have any impact, but the Telvanni building is easily my favourite. More games should have growable buildings.

House Telvanni is the most fun house to join. You get free spells, nice rewards and duscounts on the best magic trainers.

I'm playing my first playthrough rn! Lvl 18 rn been playing 2 weeks so far. Almost at the part to meet vivec in vivec.

It's possible that the reason why you stopped clipping through the floor is because you started using Vsync.
