99% of these are the biker's faults, they really do think that it's GTA5 or Fast and Furious. I've ridden daily for 27 years now, and the standards of riding have dropped remarkably since the 'UA-camr' era began, and I was vlogging 12 years ago.
Just be safe out there guys! it's not worth the pain and grief for a few thousand views on youtube, which will earn you pence in montization
they should learn to ride a mopeds before jump on those monsters. just to learn some traffic precautions and velocity of a two wheels. it's not same as a 4 wheels.
Standards probably haven't dropped tbh.. we just get to see a lot more of the headcases and bad riders on YT.
I really think this is just bias. Every dumb thing anyone does is recorded, uploaded, and put in a compilation now. This stuff was always going on, we just didn't see it.

@@az_pit_viper4270it sucks that you're right. Riders like that make it way harder on the rest of us when we make a genuine mistake. Because of the reputation bikers get from people like this, everyone always assumes we're just being a dick when we make a mistake. I mean all my accidents have been caused by others so I haven't personally experienced this since I ride normally and follow every rule of the road, but I've seen many MANY cases where a new rider makes a mistake, and gets assaulted because people assume they're one of those adrenaline junkies lane splitting at 150mph

If you crashed on the street and youre trying to figure out if it was lean angle, body position, or tires, you were going way too fast.

A little known fact is that the majority of these riders that were speeding were just in a rush to get home after eating at Chipotle.
Always fascinating to see the proof that - When the vehicle travels faster than the brain, one or both come to sudden stop. Even allowing for distortion by the cameras, I still find that brain and brakes work MUCH BETTER than hooter or revving to the red line whilst fingering the world. 2 + 2 + 1 = 1 Two ignorants plus 2 vehicles plus 1 road = 1 collaboration of physics.

as a bikers myself, i didn't expect cars will see me, aware of me. I'm tooo small and sometimes on theirs blindspots. so it's better for me to judge a cars or incoming traffics..and mostly i pay 200% awareness at junction. well, you never know what's coming out of blinds.

She was riding on the wrong side, at least in the USA, but the video wasn't clear to me how the car could have pulled out and hit her as near as she was to it.

That should be all vehicle operators. However, I worked with a woman that was just plain dumb, way into the lower IQ. She always drove the speed limit, used her turn signals, stopped at red lights, yielded at stop signs and stopped for yellow lights. She just didn't know any better.

7:09: Observe helmet is on the outside of the bike centre line. So despite the fact his bum is on the inside of the corner most of his body weight is towards the centre/outside. Look where a MotoGP rider's head is relative to the bike centre line and you'll get the idea of where most of their body weight is. This allows for a better tyre contact patch due to less bike lean angle
Ive been driving bikes for almost 20 years now, with a period only driving a bike (Hong Kong 2014-2018), i also of course drive cars and i must say when you go fast, when you go line splitting, when you go fast and line splitting or changing lane constantly to avoid braking, people in cars DONT SEE YOU! Its not their fault, it is YOURS! That lady who apologizes is magnificent, and unfortunately so uncommon.

I always ride with shorts and flip-flops so I cannot afford to ride recklessly like these chimps with their full suits and boots and helmets. I just cruise along, behaving like I am a sedan and I never see all these close calls and balls-ups.
