I don't think I've ever seen P rod get mad about not landing a trick, he's so good he knows what he's doing wrong and keeps working on his mistakes until he gets it right. Definitely one of the top five best skateboarders of all time.
I love watching bails and the stuff that happens behind the moment a skater finally lands a trick. I think it shows dedication and that itself is probably cooler to see than the trick itself
Guy is such a hard worker, and his tricks will be done proper or he’s not leaving. That’s how it should be. Highest standard in the game. Much respect!
Paul's crouch stance when concentrating before popping the trick out reminds me of Dustin Dollin's a little bit. Say for instance, when Dollin does that kickflip noseslide to fakie in his Baker 3 part and those two hot chicks are in the background at the end of the clip blushing cause they know they made the shot. In this video, at 4:25, that concentrated crouch stance totally reminds me of Dollin. It doesn't matter, just saying. It's cool how he will land a trick, and, to the common skater, just landing a make is relief and good enough, but, he goes back. He doesn't just land the trick. He develops his skills on the spot and owns it upon other variations.
From watching you in your City Stars days, till now, it’s always been amazing. Happy for you in all you’ve accomplished. A true example of: anything you put your mind to, you can get or succeed. Thx Paul for this part.
Thank you for showing just how much work pros put into a single trick / line. Makes me feel better about how long it's been working on an ollie, and it shows they've made it so far from *working*
i love this video because you see Paul, one of the best skateboarders in the world struggle. In many parts you see him land tricks so perfectly and clean, but in this you actually see his emotions. Just like all of the other skaters
