It's so crazy how different skaters are by location. I'm a Mexican living in Cali my whole life, white people are the minorities at almost every skatepark i've been to. Mostly Black people and latinos. and I know that is the same for NY, , Chicago, etc.. a lot of places really, but for instance i have skated in various cities in Utah and usually (apart from SLC a little) it's all white people, lot of mormons of course too.
But i've always loved how skating generally doesn't give a fuck about race or upbringing or anything like that, it's an outlet for anyone and it helps connect people. So beautiful. Much love

I just want to say sincerly, this was THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN! So much time and effort has went into this, and let me say that it was so worth it. Everyone featured did an amazing job and it really took so much skill to complete this. Ya'll smashed this and the editing was omgoshh THE BOMB. The music that each skater had was perfectly set for them, which means this was well thought about. The diversity and together-ness I loved expecially when you don't see much of that in this community anymore. Wow. After all these years once again a skate "tape" which really touched me! It took a few minutes to get in but then it was just perfect! Wow. Just wow. The film is perfect on every level.
Real street skating, true friendships of people who share and love their sport, life and hobby. But the film also shows how hard it still is for skaters because even in this decade old people and "Karens" don't understand this sport - and the lifestyle even less.
Besides the perfect soundtrack, which is varied, it was just awesome to see the Mid90s Cast (best movie ever!) in action again. People who no matter what age, no matter what skin color, together warmly and honestly enjoy each other's tricks. This is it.
The images, everything in 60 FPS, plus the retro look and the vibe. In addition to the skating also portrayed the skaters. For a skate tape you can just give the highest rating here.
