Including an explanation of Newton’s famous thought experiment involving Newton’s mountain and the cannon. In addition, he explains the basics of zero gravity (micro gravity) and why it exists on the International Space Station (ISS).

    Why are there never any satellites seen on photos or videos from the ISS ?!? Apparently Earth is surrounded by hundreds of satellites. Where are they? Are they invisible?

      That's essentially the same as asking why you can't see humans from the ISS. They're incredibly far away most of the time. And they're not very big. Not to mention the ISS is in low earth orbit. Most of the images and videos we see are taken looking down on the earth not beyond the ISS. But there is plenty of footage of spacecraft docking with the ISS.
