Excellent song choice, got me grooving at my desk on a Friday morning, who can ask for more? Always a blast hanging with you guys, peace and love from Canada!
Finally got around to these guys. Fantastic. I haven't heard what they've been doing lately, but they are fire, no doubt. Thanks for the reaction. Always a pleasure.
The Black Keys is sort of like Steely Dan. Two guys Dan Auerbach and Drummer Patrick Carney. They did four or five two man albums. Straight fire. All of it. Blues revivalists. Now producers of note.
Pride of Northeast Ohio (Akron)! Danny Auerbach on vocals and guitars and Patrick Carney on drums. Yes, they are still working and touring. These guys jam hard. Please check out "Lonely Boy" by them.😎🎸
Laa and Chee, Black Keys bring back good simple grooves to help you get through complicated times. Funky, catchy, and a solid groove. Ya gotta love it!
I've seen these guys live a few times. Phenomenal! The first time it was just the 2 of them on stage for the whole show. Later the shows began with just them doing the older tunes, then other musicians came out to help with the more complex tunes from the later albums.
Great reaction La/Che love the keys. Very talented guys. Big sound for a duo group. Just like White Stripes. Dan and Patrick are the real deal. You should check out the rest of their catalog it’s pretty damn good. Keep on doing what you do. You are the best in the business.
I think this song and this band really demonstrate how effective good tone is. From the guitar tones to the snare sound to the effect on the vocals. This is an example of getting it right at the source and not just trying to fix it after it’s been recorded. You can tell that they took their time finding sounds that sound great. It makes it a lot easier on the guy who has to mix the song if everything already sounds amazing. I think I heard you say you guys are sound engineers? You know what it’s like to try and “polish a turd” lol
In 2011 Dan Auerbach coaxed Doctor John into going to Nashville where Dan produced & played on The Good Doctors album Locked Down. Getaway is fantastic jam. The album won a grammy & turned out to be one of Dr. Johns best. I saw The Black Keys at a free concrert in New Orleans years ago. They are a great live band.
LOVE Y'ALL DOING THE BLACK KEYS! The drums on SET YOU FREE will blow you away! Also, 10 AM AUTOMATIC! Stripped down, gritty blues and rock Great stuff!
They recorded a chunck (if not the entire thing) of the Brothers album at Muscle Shoals. At the time the studio was in disarray and they only had like one mono speaker to listen back to on lol.
Love all your reactions fellas. Your reactions remind me of myself and my friends when we heard these songs when they were released way back when. I hit the thumbs up before I even watch! 👍👍👍
Never heard this song before… Love it! There was a song back in the 70s called the tighten up and it was out of a group from Texas and it was about a dance called the tighten up😊
Based on the head bobbing displayed during this reaction alone, I’m thinking this will be a favorable one! 😃 Saw them a few times in concert and they put on a great show
This made me think you should react to their song Lonely Boy which made me think you should react to Matt Corby’s cover of Lonely Boy which makes me think you would lose your F ing minds reacting to Matt Corby & his phenomenal band ( Drums! Flute! ) live performing Trick of the Light where he’s barefoot looping pedal genius, beat boxing. He was on Australian Idol where they wanted to make him the next heartthrob Bieber goldmine and he said fuck that, grew a beard, focuses on making music he loves w friends who are amazing musicians. He has unbelievable vocal ability.
Little Black Submarines and Lonely Boy are great songs. They are a duo drums and guitar but do overdubs and add musicians on tour. Dan Auerbach (guitars singing) and Patrick Carney (drums) their videos are cool, funny, odd.
My vote is for you to do Thickfreakness next ua-cam.com/video/baGjcrbwJIk/v-deo.html Their opening song from their second album but it was the first song I heard and said, "Who's that?!"
Memorable riffs, melodies and grooves! One of my buddy's favourite bands and one I can rely on for catchy, cool blues/rock inspired tunes. ✌🏼😎 🎶❤️🍁❤️✨️🕊
Their first two albums are so good. Thickfreakness in particular. Raw and dirty, not over produced. Please do more.
Every album by them is so good! They really might be the greatest rock band of all time.
The Black Keys should be your next rabbit hole.
First few Black Keys albums were just insanely good. Blues, soul, garage rock. They were doing it all and doing it well.
The Black Keys have been around for about 20 years, are still rocking, and just released a song with Beck.
Excellent song choice, got me grooving at my desk on a Friday morning, who can ask for more? Always a blast hanging with you guys, peace and love from Canada!
Love The Black Keys. They got some great stuff
Finally got around to these guys. Fantastic. I haven't heard what they've been doing lately, but they are fire, no doubt.
Thanks for the reaction. Always a pleasure.
They're still perfect. No bad songs yet.
You guys made my day! I forgot how good this is, especially the switch up!
Very consistent band. They know what they’re good at and they do it well.
You guys keep falling out of my feed! Was stoked to see this one!
The Black Keys is sort of like Steely Dan. Two guys Dan Auerbach and Drummer Patrick Carney. They did four or five two man albums. Straight fire. All of it. Blues revivalists. Now producers of note.
Nice insight!
Pride of Northeast Ohio (Akron)! Danny Auerbach on vocals and guitars and Patrick Carney on drums. Yes, they are still working and touring. These guys jam hard.
Please check out "Lonely Boy" by them.😎🎸
Amen. I was about to suggest Lonely Boy myself... maybe I still will! Rock on.
Good band. "Tighten Up" is also the name of a groovy soul single from the sixties delivered by Archie Bell and The Drells.
Out of Houston
Love the old Tighten Up! This one too!
Cool cool cool band!!! Glad you found them.

Aloha gentleman, these guys are rock solid
Their best album. You two will love Sinister Kid, Next Girl and Howlin for you!
OhiO boys , Black Keys. great band!
Always liked this one. My brother took me to see them in Detroit when I was 17. Miss you big bro.
1st time but will not be the last time hearing anything from the Black Keys!! 😊
Great reaction La/Che love the keys. Very talented guys. Big sound for a duo group. Just like White Stripes. Dan and Patrick are the real deal. You should check out the rest of their catalog it’s pretty damn good. Keep on doing what you do. You are the best in the business.
I'm sure you two would love the original video of Lonely Boy. Wicked great tune. Excellent reaction as usual, gentlemen ❤
I saw the Black Keys in SF at Chase Arena in 2019. They were spot on FANTASTIC!
They don’t tour much so if you get the chance, catch their show…👍🏼👍🏼
Really Love this! Thank you both
Love this song!
Simple, groovy, frill free. Hook heavy...yes, lo fi kings of that game. Dan is a production genius.

You guys are rocking, man. Thank you!
Love this band, great choice!
2 guys that used to sleep in their van when they toured back in the early days. Yeah, 2 guys. ❤😊
These 2 are huge blues fans and did a whole album with old blues guys who were pretty obscure. If you like this pocket, they occupy it.
I appreciate this one on a cold azz Friday morning 🌄 here in the south 😎

😂
Black Keys is one of my favorite band.
Hell yeah…Black Keys are dope…another band with just 2 people.
Their first album was 🔥. So clean and crisp
I'm so glad you hit these guys! One of my favorite bands.
I love watching the security guard dance and lip sync in their official video for 'Lonely Boy' 🕺
This video is hilarious!
Thanks!
The genius of Dan Auerbach.
So many good songs. Lonely Boy and Gold on the Ceiling
Great band need more reactions from their great albums El Camino and Ohio Players
The always bought me beers at this pub I'd go to ...
First few albums are masterpieces.
A great video goes with this song.
I recommend that full album! ‘Brothers’ was my intro to the Black Keys and it’s still my favorite.
This song grooves so hard.
They sound like that live. They are an amazing duo go listen to their older stuff and it has that same vinyl sound to it
Lonely boy is their biggest tune.
"Gold on the ceiling"
Psyched to see you guys get to the Black Keys! If you dig this The Heavy (Fire) is to mind the only way up .
Lots of good blues rock from this duo
el Camino, Let’s Rock, brothers, all must have albums. Can play all way thru
Just 2 guys. A guitarist, a drummer. occasionally they employ a bassist or rhythm guitarist in concert to help pull off some of the killer solos.
It's mixed so that everything is just right in your face...great production on everything they do.
The band for the most part is two guys. They were compared with the White Stripes a lot since they only had two members in the band too.
Good analysis.
More Keys please!!!
These guys were my jam for about three years a while back. Dan Auerbach is an interesting musician.
"Just the Same Old Thing" from these guys.
This made me think you should react to their song Lonely Boy which made me think you should react to Matt Corby’s cover of Lonely Boy which makes me think you would lose your F ing minds reacting to Matt Corby & his phenomenal band ( Drums! Great Album!
More Keys!
Dan Auerbach is a genius. Check out his solo work.
Black keys Afraid to love next.
Make your heart into some Black Air Force ones !!
Archie Bell and the Drells. Houston, Texas, has the best tune called- 'The Tighten Up' '68
Love that song too! It was also a dance move.
@324cmac Why, sure!
For true blues rock listen to “Nobody But You” and “Have Mercy On Me” by Black Keys on the Chulahoma album. 👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Yet another group you guys have just been turned on to who have many many great songs you will enjoy reacting to❗️❗️
Sinister Kid & Going down South, are good! 👍
Country boy , little black submarines
Oh y'all are about to go on a journey, check out their song with RZA
👀
YES!!!!
@@AirplayBeatsmybad big dawg 😅
You did the wrong Tighten Up. Bernard Purdy has a two part version out that will blow your mind. LOL
Little Black Submarines and Lonely Boy are great songs. They are a duo drums and guitar but do overdubs and add musicians on tour. Dan Auerbach (guitars singing) and Patrick Carney (drums) their videos are cool, funny, odd.
Try "She's Long Gone" or "Gold on the Ceiling", next.
Hey my brothers Happy January❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ check out Holy Ghost by the Bar Kays …you’re gonna love it❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Check out a band called Black Pistol Fire, Rabbit Run, is excellent. Drummer and guitarist vocalist.
Start wit their first few albums, songs Stack shot Billy, 10 am automatic, have love will travel.
I think this band is just 2 dudes! Drummer and guitarist/singer.
You should check out the Hip Hop album they released as Blakroc
They have other music than their top 3 songs lol
I dunno, I hate the vocal processing...
My vote is for you to do Thickfreakness next ua-cam.com/video/baGjcrbwJIk/v-deo.html Their opening song from their second album but it was the first song I heard and said, "Who's that?!"
🤔kind of a male Amy Winehouse vibe
I don't like it, bad music.
Bad? I’ve heard A LOT worse
@AirplayBeats I don't like the alternative.
@@spawn4582 gotcha
