Yes they are REAL!!! These 3 men personify Texas rock music!!! They have been around since 1969 and they have never looked back. They have a huge catalog of amazing songs that many people have not heard unless you are a big fan or go to one of their concerts. Songs like "Legs","I just got paid","Tush", "Give me all your lovin" and my personal favorite "La Grange"!!! They are rock and roll royalty!!!! The bassist passed away in 2021 and they have a new one but Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard are the heart of ZZ TOP!!!
Uncle Billy is probably the best guitarist that ever lived. Jimmy Hendrix even said that when a young 16yr old Billy was on tour with him as the guitarist for psychedelic band called the moving sidewalks. Him and Jimmy would play every chance they could. Jimmy even made sure thére room was side by side while on tour..what a honor. To be called the best by the best..at 16 yrs old .
I'm over 60, leave it at that, loved Z.Z. since the middle 1970's. When M.T.V. came out the one video I loved the most was "She's Got Legs". Seen them in concert 3 times in the early 1980's in San Antonio.
Fun fact….if you ever watch the tv series “ Bones “ Billy Gibbons played Angela Montenegro’s father on the show . His famous red car was in the show too .
They always help the underdog in these videos. Despite living in a small apartment this guy gets decked out to go out. He sees a woman that he likes but her rich friends treat him like the valet. ZZ Top and their spirit animals, three hot chicks, come to his rescue. He is granted the only true source of power in a ZZ Top video, keys to the eliminator roadster. They are magically transported somewhere where he can dance with her. Another version of Merlin, The Lady of the Lake, and young Arthur pulling the sword out of the stone.
Just a lil' ol' band from Texas. Of the three only the drummer, Frank Beard, didn't have a beard. If you liked the growl then LaGrange is the next song for you, for sure
Their older stuff is great to like waiting on the bus/Jesus left Chicago! You really can't go wrong with zz top! Legs or tush or pearl necklace or tube snake boogie are some other great songs by them
Yes their beards 100% real the bass player Dusty passed away a couple of years ago. I have at least 8 ZZ Top shows under my belt they were always one of my favorite bands there is a whole rabbit hole that you can dive into girl. Keep up the great work.
The band's guitarist and primary vocalist essentially portrays himself in one of my favourite TV cameos,. "Bones - Billy Gibbons. mov" is the best UA-cam clip. Unfortunately the audio/video quality is not great, but it has the full scene.
ZZ Top the biggest little band from Texas! They arrived fresh in the sixties.... One has passed and yet they continue... They made and remade themselves over generations .. "ZZ Top - Rough Boy (Official Music Video)" with more special effects. They did a whole concert during lock down.... "ZZ Top - La Grange (Live From Gruene Hall) | Stages" in a private jam. Billy Gibbons on guitar and vocals, Dusty Hill long time bassist now passed, and .. wait for it the only one without a beard is Frank Beard! Elwood Francis the longtime guitar tech for the band stepped in to join. It's still in the ZZ Top family tree.
ZZ Top is one of the few bands in which the drummer is the lead singer. Frank Beard is amazing with vocals, and yes, the beards are real! Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill (R.I.P.) had the best beards in music.
billy gibbons was a good friend of jimmy Hendrix . jimmy took billy on tour at the time his band was called the moving sidewalks . jimmy made sure billy's room was across from his so they could jam together.. jimmy also gave billy a pink strat which he still has !
ZZ Top is so amazing. You must hear Cheap Sunglasses, La Grange and Heard it on the El. They are a Texas band. The beards are real, originally to give them some privacy, and I do believe, created a bit of a mystique back in the day. Some of the best guitar in 70s/80s southern R&R. I don't know if you ever watched "King of the Hill", but Hank's cousin, Dusty Hill, is a member of ZZ Top, and they guest on the show. :)
Britt. The look on your face when the girls get out of the '33 Ford coupe, was the same as every red-blooded American male when this video hit the MTV airwaves back in 1983. Actress Daniele Arnaud and Playboy Playmates arriving on the scene in that car would be a recurring theme in ZZ Top videos for the next few years. And we were very happy to watch the group act to make wishes and dreams come true again and again. For more of these dudes and ladies in action, the video for LEGS must be the next stop. Or you could play TUSH, VELCRO FLY, PIN CUSHION, or THANK YOU. Keep going and enjoy the music.
Welcome (back) to the 80s, When MTV was born and the music video was more of a mini-movie. It had plot, it had character, it practically had a story-line and a script. Where Michael Jackson was king and Madonna was queen and everybody who was anybody in the music biz was putting out music videos on MTV. I didn't see your first run of ZZ Top, but if you showed a live version of an existing 80s video, then YES, you showed the wrong one. With almost no exception, if it is an 80s song, there is a music video for it that really MUST be what you're reacting to. Keep on rockin' and keep on reactin'. Even if you slip a little, we still love what you do, Britt. Keep it real and keep it comin'.
ZZ Top - Gotsa Get Paid, is a cover of a Hip Hop song "25 Lighters" must listen. Story goes that ZZ Top had a studio in their native Houston and a rapper recorded while they wee there and loved the song, so they covered/sampled it years later.
The two gentlemen in front, Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill (RIP Dusty) had 100% real beards. Ironically, the man on drums with just a moustache, was named Frank Beard. 😆
These guys are the definition of "cool" lol. Now you have to do Legs. One of the best concerts I've seen were these guys, and I've been to a ton of them.
Hello Britt reacts. I’m one of your new members. My name is NUBBIN. I live in WINONA, Texas. ZZ Top is one of the most famous bands from Texas. They reside around Galveston or Corpus Christi down there and it’s a three piece band was the biggest band in Texas. they had a great sound. They’ve been singing since the 70s, they’re kind of what you call country and rock or easy easy you know whatever but they’re famous and they’re fantastic group I live in a little town of WINONA Texas. It’s about 94 between 92 and 96 miles outside of Dallas off the interstate 20 so their beards are realand Billy Gibbons, the lead guitar player is one of the greatest guitar player all time he can play anything with anybody and put them up under the shade so you be careful you take it easy. God bless you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
The beards, are real. This is ZZ Top of the early 80's when they were one of the bands that ruled early MTV with their music and videos. The song you heard from the Howard Stern show is their first major hit. ZZ Top's music from the 70's has a distinct blues sound, some of it heavy blues. A side note, the growl you hear comes from the lead guitarist Billy Gibbons. Gibbons made guest appearances on the TV series "Bones" where they used the fade in and out from these videos. His character would mystically appear and vanish which kept other characters on the show leary of him. Is that a TFE emblem on your beanie?
Brit I suggest you react to ZZ Top's 2012 song 'I Gosta Get Paid'. With it you'll see & hear them remain cool 29 years after the release of Sharp Dressed Man. I Gosta Get Paid is a creative cover, blending Hip Hop and Blues Rock, of Houston rapper & producer DJ DMD’s “25 Lighters” (featuring Fat Pat and Lil KeKe). Bonus: In the video you get to see the more closeups of Billy singing & them playing + the keys make a reappearance.
Frank Beard is the OG!!!!!!! I have not watched yet as I am about to. I have had this album for probably close to 40 years ago. GREAT album!!! (also great song) It's too funny and I think you will agree. The beards are real. (except for Frank Beard, the drummer has no beard)
The premise of the videos is....A poor guy getting kicked around by life and suddenly a magic car with sympathetic muses comes to rescue him and take him out to have fun and enjoy himself a little......
Those beards are definitely real!! They were once offered a million dollars by Gillette to shave their beards for a commercial, and they turned it down!!
Yes they are REAL!!! These 3 men personify Texas rock music!!! They have been around since 1969 and they have never looked back. They have a huge catalog of amazing songs that many people have not heard unless you are a big fan or go to one of their concerts. La Grange is mine, too. Well, it's tied with Cheap Sunglasses, because that is me. ;)
One of my favourite things about ZZ Top is that the drummer is Frank Beard who didn't have one.
He couldn't grow one!
@patchesblue155 Actually, he doesn't have a beard because of some kind of bet that he lost between the three of them.
I was just going to write that. It has always made me laugh.
They're REAL....and they're spectacular!
Thanks for your reaction on ZZ top. RIP. Dusty.
Wow, this Canadian did not know. Love this band most all my life. Thanks for the heads up. RIP Dusty Hill
Just a little ol’ band from Texas (my home state)! These guys generated a great sound! Love them!
Just Legends! ~ Canada
Billy Gibbons is one of the most effortlessly cool people I have ever seen.
Great Southern Rock band.
I saw them in concert this past March & they were rockin !!
The beards are real 👍
It's just pure rock n roll and I love it!
Dusty Hill .. was a Woodrow Wilson Wildcat, in Dallas Texas... we attended the same high school... Rip in Dusty!
What? He didn't go to Arlen High School with his cousin Hank? It was so cool to see him and the band on King of the Hill. RIP Dusty Hill ~ Canada
I'm over 60, leave it at that, loved Z.Z. since the middle 1970's. When M.T.V. came out the one video I loved the most was "She's Got Legs". Seen them in concert 3 times in the early 1980's in San Antonio.
"Rough Boys" is a slightly deep cut, but one of my favorite ZZ Top slow jams.
Now Britt needs to see the rest of the trilogy, Gimee All Your Lovin’, and Legs. For more of their bluesy side, Blue Jean Blues is a must.
Cause even Britt's crazy bout a sharp dressed man💞
my fave ZZ Top song! ♥
As a guy I never thought I'd get to use this phrase. "Yes, they are real, and yes, they are fabulous".
I believe it was spectacular. One of the best exit lines on the whole show. haha
Fun fact….if you ever watch the tv series “ Bones “ Billy Gibbons played Angela Montenegro’s father on the show . His famous red car was in the show too .
Iconic representation of the zietgiest of the era, ultimate in accuracy and individuality of a point in time.
So many great songs from ZZ and so many fun video's
R.I.P. Joe Michael "Dusty" Hill (May 19, 1949 - July 28, 2021).
The bassist. He also sang backing and lead vocals and played keyboards.
ZZ Top- Waitin' For The Bus / Jesus Just Left Chicago is very good.
That combo just hits different.
La Grange is worth a listen to. Probably their best song.
Well, he is a valet. He was late to his shift, and the door man tells him so.
FUN FACT: The only member of the group without a beard is actually named beard; drummer, Frank Beard. 😄
Fun fact. They have the nickname- Biggest Little Band in Texas. It's do to how much sound 3 guys put out
Just a lil' ol' band from Texas. Of the three only the drummer, Frank Beard, didn't have a beard. If you liked the growl then LaGrange is the next song for you, for sure
Their older stuff is great to like waiting on the bus/Jesus left Chicago! You really can't go wrong with zz top! Legs or tush or pearl necklace or tube snake boogie are some other great songs by them
ZZ Top are one of the greatest bands of all time. (The ZZTop car is The Eliminator, just FYI). 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Have a great Christmas! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
My think my first concert was ZZ and Huey Lewis at six flags. Awesome!! Peace, Love!!
Yes their beards 100% real the bass player Dusty passed away a couple of years ago. I have at least 8 ZZ Top shows under my belt they were always one of my favorite bands there is a whole rabbit hole that you can dive into girl. Keep up the great work.
My all time favorite band still have the chrome keyring I got at a concert in 1983
Check out “I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide “. Or “She loves My Automobile “
Jimmie Hendrix was once asked who he thought the best guitarist was, Jimmie replied " I'm really liking Billy Gibbons "
The band's guitarist and primary vocalist essentially portrays himself in one of my favourite TV cameos,. "Bones - Billy Gibbons. mov" is the best UA-cam clip. Unfortunately the audio/video quality is not great, but it has the full scene.

or THANK YOU.
Keep going and enjoy the music.
Saw them in concert that year what a great show

The 3 'underdressed' young ladies where either married to or dating the band members at the time of the video.
👍👍
Every one of there songs are bangers
I like the way she can harmonize with the music I like.
Classic 😊 best 3 piece band ever😊
You also need to listen to some of their stuff from the 70s. They had more of a bluesy sound at that time. Their first 6 albums are awesome!!!!
La Grange, Jesus just Left Chicago and I love Cheap Sunglasses.
At one point this was the best song in my universe.......
I've watched a lot of your videos, and I love your open mindedness for all the different genres. Keep it up.
Great song! It's one of my favorites.
That chopped '33 Custom Ford coupe was built by/for Gibbons and he also drove it - it wasn't simply a video/show car (which it was that as well)..
The beards are real. Supposedly some time in the 80's Gillette offered them a million dollars to shave their beards. They refused it.
The car is an iconic part of the band, shows up in other videos too
ZZ Top - Gotsa Get Paid, is a cover of a Hip Hop song "25 Lighters" must listen. Story goes that ZZ Top had a studio in their native Houston and a rapper recorded while they wee there and loved the song, so they covered/sampled it years later.
Legs is also a great one of their songs.
Nationwide is probably my favorite. And yes the beards are real.
Loooong history ZZ Top definitely are tops in my book!! 😎🤙🏼
The two gentlemen in front, Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill (RIP Dusty) had 100% real beards. Ironically, the man on drums with just a moustache, was named Frank Beard. 😆
Ironically the only member of the band without a big beautiful beard is named Frank Beard LOL.
Our Dance studio did this routine with the company girls performing with their Dads as partners.
The ZZ Top car is sweet. A 1933 Forde 3 window coup
with suicide doors It is very much ZZ Top. Love the Music.
Theirs nothing like a little ZZ in your cereal bowl to make your day. Thanks Britt. Signature trait/ THE BREAD'S ARE REAL.
Just a lil ol band from Texas. 🎼🎸. 🤟
Texas Road House Blues and yes beards are real
These guys are the definition of "cool" lol. Now you have to do Legs. One of the best concerts I've seen were these guys, and I've been to a ton of them.
Beards are very real and the perfect length according to them, which is "Just long enough to touch the guitar strings."
They are a fantastic band!! 😅
Loved it. You should know there is a trilogy involving the same car and women. Give Me All Your Loving, Legs, and Sharp Dressed Man

More 80s music and vids.. Excellent time in music..take care
The surname of the only clean shaven member of ZZ Top......Is Beard.
I went to school with ZZTop - they are from Houston, TX!
The beards, are real. This is ZZ Top of the early 80's when they were one of the bands that ruled early MTV with their music and videos. Is that a TFE emblem on your beanie?
Fun fact. The drummer's name is Frank Lee Beard and he got no beard and the other two have a long santa beard.

Is that a "Fat Electrician" beanie?
Jesus Just left Chicago would be a great song to react to. Love your reaction.
I HAD to scroll up and look. That's definitely a TFE beanie. We need to see her react to some of that history. Quack Bang Out.
@scottgorski7931 Maybe there is someone else that uses that moniker. But I definitely thought, quack bang right away. She would trip out.
This is pure cross country cruising music at it's best!
Gimme all your lovin is a power tune
Fun fact: They did a cameo appearance in Back to the Future 3
ZZ Top
Blue Jean Blues
I'm Bad I'm Nationwide
I love cleaning the house to ZZ Top & Def Lepord
Frank Beard is the OG!!!!!!! I have not watched yet as I am about to. I have had this album for probably close to 40 years ago. GREAT album!!! (also great song) It's too funny and I think you will agree. The beards are real. (except for Frank Beard, the drummer has no beard)
Love ZZ Top!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Definitely dive into ZZ Top , the theme with the car & the Ladies , next react to Legs !
Looking great baby as usual
The premise of the videos is....A poor guy getting kicked around by life and suddenly a magic car with sympathetic muses comes to rescue him and take him out to have fun and enjoy himself a little......
This was what it was about.
Britt
Gillette Razors once offered both Dusty & Billy millions of dollars to shave off their famous iconic beards, but they declined the offer.
Me and my 2 boys loved their concerts, got matching key rings..ZZTop zzz
OF COURSE they are REAL girl!!! Billy J Gibbons baby!!
The beards are real, in fact they were offered one million dollars back in the 80s to shave them off for a Bic commercial, which they refused.
Those beards are definitely real!! They were once offered a million dollars by Gillette to shave their beards for a commercial, and they turned it down!!
Try " Legs " By ZZ
Checkout the video legs and watch them play their furry guitars😅
lol the best part was watching you rockin’ out to the music, Britt! 👍🏼
I met them a couple years ago also friends with kenny Chesney ❤❤❤
As a native Texan you will be hard pressed to find a better group 😊😊😊
Blue Jean blues.
Yes Ma'am, the beards are real...like mine !! Awesome job Mrs. Britt !!
Squirrel 😂😂
