Brother, you nailed it about Russia. Im a 62 year old man, retired army, retired Lutheran Pastor, My fiancé is a 57 year old Doctor who had been a Captain in the Soviet Army. When I traveled to Yekaterinburg where she lives I could not believe how clean the city was. very very little graffiti, no wierdos on the street, but the safety, I could not believe it. I have a conceal and carry weapon license for my state. my pistol goes wherever I go and most men at my Church were also armed. My Fiance and I would walk about a mile through the forest to get to Church and there were young women walking alone in this place. I asked my Fiance, how can this be, but she said, don't worry nothing will happen to them. For a Westerner you are also correct about the groceries, We filled up a grocery basket at the store and it was about $85. In the US this would have cost me $380 to $400. I looked at her gas and electric bill for the month and I asked, is this for a day. I'm not overexaggerating, her gas was about $& and her electric was about $15 for a month. No cost for water. In my town my water bill alone is $250 a month, my gas $85 a month, my electric depending on the month will be between $230 to $550 a month and garbage is $45 a month. But the food tasted so different. I took me a month to get used to it. I was not used to food that was not artificially colored and full of hormones and chemicals. The only thing I do not like, and this is because of the sanctions, but I have to physically carry my money into the country. I could go on and on but I am going back this December to get married, my furniture is already sold, then I will come back and sell my house which has doubled in price in 7 years. I am going to the land where the only place I see a rainbow is in the sky and not flying above my own countries flag. You nailed it brother. .
In the USSR, gas, water, and electricity were almost free. Education, medicine, and housing were definitely free and of a high standard. The state paid for everything. That's what I call a superpower. It was a social state of the highest order. There was nothing even close to this in terms of social security and social protection in other countries. Russians obviously remember this well and know that it is possible in principle. And Western people have been accustomed for centuries to a model where you have to pay for everything yourself, and they have been throwing mud at the USSR all the time.
Alternative to carrying cash into the country is crypto. The fees do eat away some small percentage though, but it's an option. Also, it's better to use the bigger platforms that have a good reputation.
So all the propaganda that America tells us how unsafe russia is for Americans is all bs? Cause I was to be with my girlfriend and she lives in Barnaul what are your thoughts about this?
The people who are moving to Russia are smart. They are getting a better value for the buck, and it's a beautiful place. Russia is not a perfect country, and neither one exists. People need to look beyond the mainstream media narrative, do their own research, and go see it for themselves. This UA-camr, not sure of his name, is right.

Hello! I’m Russian who lives in Los Angeles, CA, who been caught by propaganda of the liberal beliefs and moved to the US almost 4 years ago. Now I’ll get some things done and going to return back to Russia. It was an incredible experience living in the US and learnt English from the scratch by myself but also I got that I won’t never find a level of comfort and safety for my family here but in Russia. There’s no such big cities in the US like Moscow, Sankt-Petersburg, Kazan, Perm, Yekaterinburg and so on with even close level of safety like in Russia. Also service is much worser here in the US, unfortunately. Even compared to my small and modest town in Russia. Even bars, cafes and restaurants I cannot find anything similar by quality here in the US although I traveled a lot interstate. I was dreaming about another US. Sorry guys, but that is just my truth, don’t want to insult anyone. Welcome to Russia, then! There you are always safe even if someone doesn’t smile you like. :)

As a Russian, I love my country, but I want to warn the people who plan to move to my country: If you are running from something in your country and decided to move to Russia - it is incorrect decision (you wont be happy here because we have different problems), but if you move to Russia because you love/like in Russia certain things (style of live, culture, our beliefs - whatever) - then you made a correct decision and in this case I wish good luck
Good advice and sadly most Americans that move to Russia are running from something or another. Which is sad for both the individual and for Russia's taxpayer. They are only going to shift their issues onto Russia and are not really fixing the issues. High cost of living in the United States? Yeah momentary rise in prices due to inflation but incomes rose as well and even if incomes did not rise..........you can increase your skills and get a higher paying job or change the way you invest money if your retired and bring in more money that way. Moving to Russia to fix those issues is not really fixing the issues your just importing the issues with your move and not resolving them. At some point those issues will resurface again, though now your stuck in Russia with them. A lot of people are not really thinking here before they make the decision to move. Also, in regards to changing values in the United States..........very naive to think Russia will not also change in the future and will forever remain static with it's culture. The world does not work that way.

To be honest, I am always surprised by the fact that Americans leave the USA, I always thought that Americans are some of the most patriotic people on this planet. But anyway, welcome. Greetings from Russia, Moscow.
America is being slowly taken over by Bolskevek's as the Left holds the majority influence over all major social institutions. Those who advocate for traditional values or Conservatism are labeled as 'deplorables' by some or domestic terrorists by the current Administration. A good example of the double standard is Jan 6 compared to the 100 days of riots following the death of George Floyd. The latter was a 1000x more severe but hardly is mentioned while Jan 6 is brought up on a daily bases.
The UsA elite hate the Christian’s white people. Everybody can see they work against this group. Look the ilegal immigration. Is to make the country less Christianity.
People used to be patriotic, and some are still, but even among family which always said America was #1, never cared to even leave the country in their life, etc, they've now become disillusioned and think the USA is in decline and is not the best place, that it's been taken over by outsiders and criminal bureaucrats. They have hope Trump will change this, but even have begun to believe it's simply over for the USA.
It’s much simpler, man. Right now Russia has a higher quality of living for ordinary people, than US. It was just opposite for 10 years ago, but things have changed.

Hello from Russia. Guys, I can explain to you why there is such a difference between Russia and the USA. Russia is a historically formed state. The Russian people created it on their lands, then gradually expanded the territory to the south and east, involving other peoples, but not destroying them, but preserving them. The USA is the opposite case. It is an artificially created state of the Anglo-Saxons on foreign lands. They seized these lands and killed almost all the local inhabitants. And then they built an ideal corporation for making money. Therefore, Russia and the USA have different goals. In Russia, the goal is to improve the life of its people. And in the USA it is to make money for the richest. And everything else is based on this. Why do 99% of people in Russia own real estate, while in the USA the percentage is very low? Because in the USA rich people earn money by renting housing, so they have been lobbying for such a system in construction for many decades, so that it would be very expensive to buy real estate. Or why in Russia there is a washing machine in every house, while in the USA there are common washing rooms? Again, it's about money, this is how they earn money. And so on.
Hello, I lived in Russia for seven years, I love Russia and Russians but your take on the history of the USA, compared to Russia, is totally wrong. Russian history is very similar to America's...a large proud Christian nation with a giant frontier to settle and a destiny to change the World. Russia conquered more land than America and killed far more to do so (far denser population centers back then), which I have no problem with. People own property at high rates in Russia because even the poorest were given a flat by the end of the CCCP. America is not designed to improve the lives of its own people, just make them money, what are you talking about, in America the lives are too improved, obesity and boredom from easy desk work, etc, being huge issues. The natives of America (Indians) today have recovered their numbers to several million, about the same as were in North America before Columbus came. America and Russia need to focus on the vast list of things that unite us, not artificially create cheap divisions. I love Russia and Russians and want America and Russia to once again become friends. Trump maybe can do it.
@@MarkMcAllister-ni9sf The Population of the 500 Nations, of North America was estimated at 40 Million towards the End of the Pre Columbian Period. They have bounced back to 22 Million of today. That includes mixed marriages with Status Indian, according to the Indian Affairs Office in Ottawa 2019, for Canada & USA. "Russia killed far more to do so" No, Russia did not , all Treaty's with the Nenets, Yakuts, Bashkirs, Tartars, Tuvans Mongols and so on, were largely respected, the famines of the early and late 1920's after the Bolshevik Revolution took place in Western Russia. In Siberia there where only famines after the Siberian Japanese occupation, by displaced Families, and far less than in the West of Russia. Anyway I like your general take on Relations, and gave you a Thumbs up.
@@ernstwiltmann6 I agree that Russia has gone to great lengths to preserve its far northern and Siberian tribes, the identities of the Tatars, Udmurts, etc, are still flourishing, but the population centers Russia conquered, to become what it is today, were larger than what was in North America at that time, so there is no way Russia killed less people to form its borders. Again, I have no problem with Yekaterina taking the South from Islam, or Ivan taking Kazan, etc. I do have a problem with falsely painting the foundation of the Russian State as something far more virtuous than that of the Unites States, which is ridiculous thing to even quantify. You are obviously very smart and thank you for the reply.
@@ernstwiltmann6 Again, America and Russia are far more alike than Russia and Europe. I think we share far more in common than not, and I look forward to a future alliance. China wants Siberia after all.

I also forgot to say that my fiance fills out a postcard on her own for her taxes. I have to use an accountant each year and my property taxes went up $400 this year so I am honored to pay $9300 in property taxes this year just to the state not even counting the federal Government.. No more I am done with it.
I read your other comment. If I were you, I would consider renting out my house in the USA. In Russia, you will live on this money without denying yourself anything. At the same time, the property in the USA will be preserved.
It's crazy. Our property taxes in Russia are like $150 a year (for 800 sq flat). Insurance is about the that as well. Our small US house in a low tax state is $3k per year.

In this App you can also make corrections about your property- houses, cars, etc. I have a city apartment (far away from Moscow), and 0,3 acres land with a small house (dacha) , van, moto - my year taxes 35$ plus entrepreneurship taxes 700$ per year, no accountant needs. P.S. Also in my region we can get 2,5 acres per citizen for free from government. So free 5 acres for me and my wife. But this free land is 20 minutes from my city and i’m a little lazy now, already have a dacha and I’m a city-life man )
The claim that Russia had no freedom is absurd and hinges on 2 things as far as I understand - 1) you can not spew rude statements against the government and 2) you can not run with bare naked ass out in the open. So what? What is the point of voting out PMs in Britain every year if nothing changes anyway. And how is UK a free country if you literally have no freedom of movement in the night coz it is so dmn unsafe

I can say that the window of opportunity for moving from Western countries to Russia can close at any moment. When these are large numbers, you can be sure that your governments will close it tightly. They are already making such moves difficult. For example, it is forbidden to transport euros from Europe to Russia. They may also not issue some of the necessary documents. But do not forget that now, due to the difference in currencies between the dollar, euro and ruble, a Westerner can easily buy housing in Russia and open a business. One big thing is that people here don't call the cops unless all other options are exhausted. If you misbehave in any way - you'll be warned a dozen times before things escalate. And cops themselves come to DO THEIR JOB. They're no babysitters nor psychiatrists. If they were called for nothing - the person calling will get in trouble (nothing serious but still). Such norm means that people will usually try to settle any conflicts on human-to-human level. And this common sense buffer is something US lacks greatly, where "I'll call the cops" and "I know my rights" is heard on daily basis.

Another thing you didn't mention is a debt-free living. I do not know if that is higher interest rates or more careful approach from Russian banks, but I do not think that Russians are under that much debt pressure. As for the politics or freedoms: I like as one guy noticed that you will always feel most free in a country where you agree with the government's policies. I believe that most Russians are in harmony with their government thus they do not have to self-censor or feel too involved and be passionate about politics.
Russia is a paradise for Western retirees due to the difference in exchange rates. By receiving a pension from the West and living in Russia, retirees can enjoy a very high standard of living (about 4-5 times greater than in their home country). If these retirees, in addition to their pension, earn income from renting their property in the West and spend the funds they receive in Russia, they will live like millionaires. This is not a joking matter. But I don't think this situation will last long. If the economic situation in the United States continues to worsen and the dollar's exchange rate against the ruble continues to fall, then the standard of living for Western pensioners in Russia may also decrease...
The rouble is falling to over 100 roubles to 1 usd. This is going to fuel the migration to Russia as retirees on a us pension or social security will live better than doctors and engineers. Russia needs to target this wealth and hopefully can secure Chinese migration away from the west as well.
@@RoCK3rADDo you know how retirees can collect Social Security and still live in Russia? I have read that a retiree cannot become a Russian citizen or even a permanent resident. I can’t seem to find an answer. Thanks!
I would like to explain why it may be beneficial for Westerners to consider moving to Russia at this time. However, this only applies to those who have their own property. The fact is, the exchange rate between the American dollar (and other western currencies) and the Russian ruble is currently very favorable. The Russian government intentionally lowers the value of the ruble in order to make more of their products and services more affordable for foreign buyers. For example, with $100, you can purchase 5-6 times more goods and services in Russia than in the US. If you sell your home in the US, you could potentially buy 5-6 homes in Russia (which would likely be made of stone, instead of plywood like in the US). This means that after selling your home and moving to Russia, you could purchase a beautiful stone home, a large piece of land, and still have funds left over for your own business endeavors.

You said a lot of things correctly, but not about prices, especially for apartments. since 2018, the cost of housing HAS DOUBLED + times! It is much more difficult to buy a house now. But now it is more affordable to buy a house 15-30km from the city. About food prices is also a nuance. Prices are rising. For example, today milk in a local producer's shop for some reason has risen in price by 8% The oil rose too. Yes, maybe they will go down after a while. But there are constant price fluctuations. Therefore, it is impossible to talk about stability here. but the fact that no one stably stabs on the street, does not litter, does not shit, and generally the most adequate - yes. We are like that.

Well, in general it's like that, beyond the individual details. Ah yes, there are also national republics like Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia. The laws of the Russian Federation also apply there, but since these are predominantly muslim republics, they have their own specifics and peculiarities. Europeans are usually not comfortable living there on a permanent basis.
Because of that European can choose any other region and Muslims can choose Muslim regions of Russia. Yeah, also Asians and Buddhist can choose Kalmikia or Buryatiya for living. And Muslim regions of Russia are very different. For example in the Tatarstan or in The Bashkortostan you can wear anything you want, you can find alcohol, pork and a lot of pubs or night clubs. Chechnya and Ingushetia are more Islamic regions. So don't worry and don't afraid and just choose what you want.
We have many more ethnical republics and regions which just like all other russian regions are multinational and multireligious, and where people live in mutual respect, friendship and support. It's all just a regular ordinary thing in Russia.
It is immediately obvious that the person was in Russia for a couple of months, a year at most, and has not traveled further than Moscow. The video contains a lot of false information regarding freedom of speech and violations of laws. In Russia, as in the United States, it is forbidden to criticize the government. For this, they can fine you heavily and block your account. Yes, they can first warn you and then issue a fine. If you misbehave on the street, you can be detained for up to 15 days if there was a fight and there were victims. Regarding prices, yes, if you compare them with prices in the United States and play with the exchange rate, then it is indeed cheaper in Russia, but if you live in Russia and work in Russia, then not everything is so rosy. If you are an average citizen who spends up to 30% of your salary on food, 20% on utilities, this is according to the most conservative estimates, provided that you have your own home and not rented, if you also rent housing, then about 5-10% of your salary remains for travel, a pharmacy, and everything else. Prices in Russia are increasing every month, just like in the rest of the world. Overall, the video is full of misinformation.

In Russia "you don't worry about politics, it's none if your business", You make it sound like politics us a burden, bro. Politics is a way to voice your opinion and your values and we get an equal say if we chose to particopate. Something tells me you have been indoctrinated to think more subserviently. Something tells me that your knowledge of american life is a bit limited.
This guy is genuinely a moron. I truly don't even know where to begin and don't feel like writing an essay explaining all the things he got wrong. But yeah, horrible video by someone incredibly sheltered in the west.
You're wrong about the prices. They rising up 10-20% per year now. Housing and rent maybe for less, but still going up. Food got up to 20% rise recently for past 4 months for several categories (butter and meat especially).
No offense to this analysis, but it seems like a 'grass is greener on the other side' perspective. Our conservative values in Russia basically come down to no trans, and restrictions on gay propaganda in schools. Otherwise we have many of the same social problems as you guys (high divorce rates, high substance abuse rates, problems with illegal immigration, extremely low birth rate among ethnic Russians, degreening of cities, depopulation of rural areas, foods being filled with poisonous chemicals because its cheaper, etc.). The problem is we are part of the globalist system and like Western countries have very powerful oligarchs. The concepts many conservatives abhor ('15 minute cities', digital living, including digitsl currency, etc) are being actively pushed and marketed over here. Sorry if I've burst someone's bubble. Just want people not to be disappointed after realizing what's really happening in Russia.
This is what I've been saying to anyone conservative or traditional-minded... Nowhere on the planet has escaped the negative effects of globalism. At least, nowhere with any actual infrastructure or economy. And I really wanted to believe Russia was some kind of sanctuary for Westerners who had enough of their own governments turning against them. When I heard about the "asylum for westerners" act that was passed, I was initially excited but then remembered that in this world, there's nothing truly good. Everything has a downside. And God forbid, if it ever does come down to full-out WWIII, I would not want to be in Russia either getting drafted or working in their country while native Russians go to the frontlines.

If you get Russian citizenship, you will receive all pensions and benefits, as well as free medicine. But it is unlikely that work experience in the United States will be taken into account and the pension will be social, now it is about $ 140 per month. Pension for women from the age of 63. Now there is a simplified procedure for obtaining citizenship.
I'm American and I've been living in Russia since 2013. I love Russia. Some of what this UA-camr says is not true, or exaggerated. The divorce rate is high and there is a demographic crisis going on 30 years now. In terms or free speech, there are a lot of things you cannot say. Most of the rest is pretty accurately. Especially about social values. People are very respectful and mild-mannered here.
What you're saying about inflation and immigration is simply not true. I've been here since 2013. Immigration is so out of control and the authorities are finally doing something about it after the massacre at Crocus City Hall. In public kindergartens, there are classes of 40 kids where only 3 or 4 kids are Russian! Also inflation is crazy. Prices have doubles or more since 2022. I literally just came back from Perekrostok. Russia is amazing and I am proud to be a Russian citizen, but do not lie to people and do not conceal the problems we face. We cannot solve problems if we don't admit that they exist!
Since 1st September it has been easier than ever for the citizens of 47 Western allied countries to move to Russia. Just apply for the Shared Values Visa at the Russian Embassy/consulate.

you really should visit Russia just to overcome all those propaganda bias inspired by your mass media. i live a month on 100$ lol its 10.000rub.. i mean food for a month. 2$ per month hot water, 5$ cold water, 15-20$ electricity and thats a lot cuz i use computer 24/7 charge phone vape electric stove not gas, gas stove would be 10times cheaper. 1000$ rent... u should be a millionaire XD better take mortgage if u can pay that summ monthly. most of my friends who rents apartments in different cities pay between 150-350$ per month
it is not life cost only - the main reason is that Russia is a Common Sense country - where family and traditional values are considered more important than those... promoted in the Western countries
Living expenses are not cheap here for locals. For example, my mother's pension is 180 dollars per month. Despite of free medical care and owning her property, she cannot afford her medicines. Family values are strong here because it is a way to survive in retirement.

Russian here. Im 35 yer old from Novosibirsk. Im a recruiter. A lot of what is said is true, but there are few things you should consider if moving to Russia. First is our wages. The prices are lower than you accustomed to, but the wages also lower. Of course, it depends on what is your profession, what job you do for living but in general lower. Second is price for estate: it is also very high, not like in USA but still unaffordable for most of population totally. Third: it is capitalism here and as such it feells the crysis the same way as in ANY capitalist country so the prices a going up every year conciderably. On the good side of things are our legacy from USSR: free healthcare , free schools (univercity to som degree to but mostly commercial now especialy if univercity is good). Also we are indeed mostly nice and civilazed people, just do not idealize us in that regard when concidering immigration to Russian. Do some thorough research of your own before moving. Concider every goods and bads of such desicion and onely than do move to Russia. Also we got some thery beutifful nature (places like Altay ore Baycal and many others).
I'm Russian, born and live in one of big cities with over 1M citizens. Never seen an American or other foreigner who's native language is English, but many Indians / Africans who studying here. Where are all these Americans? I myself prefer to live in Russia rather than US (never tried though), but honestly, i tend to think that this is all paid propaganda, since i started to notice too many videos from small channels like this about Americans moving to Russia in my youtube feed. You never know where is propaganda these days...

How much is the monthly income of the normal Russian outside of the big city of Moscow or St. Petersburg? and how many Rubels are you getting for one US-Dollar right now?
104.10 Russian Ruble and living outside of big cities is most likely cheaper but also have low paying jobs, why move to russia to live in small town anyway
Inflation and currency deval is a chronic issue in Russia. You are correct in saying that IT guys can have a premium life in Russia because of the general deficit for such specialists (many fled during mobilization of 2022) and higher than average salaries since the times when globalization worked. In general there are many opportunities in Russia because war economy created many deficits in domestic specialist "market". But you will have troubles transferring assets in and out of the country because of the sanctions.
Of course, enjoy the benefits and incredible convenience and comfort of living in Russia, because all the costs are on those with a Russian passport. After all, you will not be called up to army. Isn't it the point?
Speaking of which, is it possible for a U.S. citizen on Social Security to still get their benefits? I know that one cannot become a permanent resident or citizen of Russia and still collect Social Security. Do you know how I can find out information about this? I am 64 and am planning on moving to Russia when I retire.
You are making sense on why 'traditional' Russia could appeal to many westerners, in particular Americans. Another reason could be the 'purity' of Russia. Unlike many western countries which are very diverse, perhaps to the breaking point, with all the immigrants from African and central and south American countries seeking a better life, Russia has been exempted from this influx of different racial and ethnic groups for the most part. Not a value judgement, just an observation, in which the appeal is understandable. Good luck everyone!

A little bit more information on the drug addiction and alcoholism problem (or non-problem) would be appreciated. The US is a complete mess in this category.

All those descriptions are nice about Russia but it's real hard to ignore the fact that over the past 2 decades so many, many Russians have chosen to leave their country for good. It's hard to ignore the fact that Russia is ranked as one of the most corrupt countries in the world from the bottom to its very top: lots and lots of greed, graft, kickbacks, blackmail, money laundering, intimidation. It's hard to ignore the fact that back in the 90's, Putin allowed a very few elite men to buy for pennies on the dollar much of Russia's natural resource wealth and large infrastructures for pennies on the dollar WITH THE PROVISO THAT HE GET A KICKBACK. All of those kickbacks went to fund his, and long time cronies with lavish lifestyles (mansions on the Rivieras, castles on the Black Sea, yachts, and HUGE bank accounts in the west). It's hard to ignore the fact that retired people are so happy to tell you about the raise in their monthly pensions from $230.00 to $250, when those very few oligarchs and Putin cronies are skimming so much state natural resource wealth right out from under all of the average citizens' noses. It's hard to ignore the fact that there is NO freedom of speech, freedom of the press, transparent elections or fair jury by one's peers. When a dissenter is brave enough to make publicly known the true political state of affairs or attempt to run for an office, that person is quite often shot in Red Square, mysteriously falling from balconies, thrown into a gulag, or poisoned with deadly nerve agents, It's hard to ignore the fact that many Russian citizens have been so brainwashed to the point of going along with INVADING the sovereign nation of the Ukraine, murder many of its citizens, destroy much of the cities in the invaded territory, and kidnap thousands of innocent citizens living there. It's hard to ignore the fact that just like sheep, Russian citizens chose to believe that this war is just due to the pervasive presence of Nazis in the Ukraine when in reality the Ukraine has as its president a Jew!! It's hard to ignore the fact that many average Russian citizens chose not to question and critically consider the actions of their country and acknowledge what they truly are: criminal. It's hard to ignore the fact that Russia has one of the highest rates of alcoholism in the world. You just have to wonder what all that ill gotten, stolen money now in western bank accounts could have done: rehab establishments, clinics, lower income housing, more financial aid to qualified families, tuition assistants, increases in monthly pensions. It's hard to ignore the fact that Putin has spent and continues to spend SO MUCH MONEY FUNDING THIS WAR WITH THE SOVEREIGN NATION OF THE UKRAINE WHEN IT COULD HAVE GONE TO THE AVERAGE RUSSIAN CITIZEN in the form of better roads, more schools, more teachers, more scientists, more IT experts, more hospitals, more colleges, more money put toward environmental cleanup........... YES! THE USA HAS MANY SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL PROBLEMS AND ISSUES BUT IT IS RANKED NUMBER ONE WHEN IT COMES TO IMMIGRATION. . SO MANY, MANY PEOPLE WANT TO LIVE HERE, WHERE YOU DON'T GO TO JAIL FOR DEMONSTRATING OR DEFAMING ITS COUNTRY'S LEADERS, WHERE YOU CAN WORK HARD AND HAVE A BETTER LIFE AND WHERE YOU CAN RUN FOR AN OFFICE AND DO YOUR UTMOST TO MAKE IT BETTER. YES, THE USA HAS PROPAGANDA BUT IT ALSO HAS AVAILABLE FOR ANY INTERESTED CITIZEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO SURF THE NET, READ A NEWSPAPER OR TURN ON THE TV AND FIND POINTS OF VIEW FROM ALL SIDES. ANYONE CAN GET ON UA-cam, ESTABLISH A CHANEL AND TELL THE LISTENERS HIS/HER POINT OF VIEW. YES THE USA HAS PROBLEMS WITHIN ITS LEGAL SYSTEM; BUT THE UNDERLYING PILLARS OF LAW HAVE STOOD THE TEST OF TIME AND THERE IS IN PLACE A SYSTEM THAT RECTIFYS/MODIFIES/CREATES LAWS WHEN CHANGE IS MANDATED....EVEN IF IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME. YES, THE USA HAS MUCH WEALTH IN MANY FORMS. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST GENEROUS COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD. FROM THE VERY TOP TO THE AVERAGE CITIZEN. AMERICANS DONATE TO MANY CAUSES ALL AROUND THE WORLD. YES THE USA HAS NAZIS AMONG ITS POPULATION. THIS COUNTRY TOLERATES THEM ALONG WITH RIGHT WING NUTS, LGBTQS,, COMMUNISTS, RELIGIOUS CULTS,. THEY END UP ON THE FRINGES OF SOCIETY. IF THEY OBEY THE RULES, THEY ARE NOT PUT IN SOME GULAG SYSTEM. IT'S CALLED TOLERANCE AND IT'S ALLOWED HERE. YES THE AMERICAN FORM OF DEMOCRACY IS "MESSY." THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS ADMINISTERED BY HUMANS, WHO ONE WAY OR ANOTHER MAKE MISTAKES OR TRY TO CHEAT THE SYSTEM. NOT ALL CRIMINALS ARE CAUGHT. NOT ALL GREED, GRAFT AND CORRUPTION IS EXPOSED. BUT WHEN IT IS , THE SYSTEM DOES ITS BEST TO MAKE IT KNOWN AND DEALT WITH.... SOMETIMES FOR THE GOOD AND SOMETIMES NOT. BUT IN THE END, THE DEMOCRATIC SYSTEMS MOVES FORWARD WITH THE UNDERLYING GOAL OF UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION AND ALL OF ITS LAWS, RULES AND RIGHTS. YES THE USA HAS INVADED OTHER COUNTRIES. IT DID SO TO END WARS: JAPAN AND KOREA.... AND LOOK AT THOSE COUNTRIES NOW!!! IN VIETNAM,, JUST IMAGINE WHAT THIS COUNTRY MIGHT BE LIKE TODAY HAD OUR COUNTRY SUCCEEDED. IT WOULD PROBABLY HAVE BEEN ANOTHER ECONOMIC POWERHOUSE JUST LIKE JAPAN AND KOREA. MANY AMERICANS EXPOSE THE ILLEGALITY OF INVADING IRAQ AND THE RECENT DISASTROUS EXIT FROM AFGHANISTAN. BUT IN THE USA, ANY AMERICAN CAN STATE PUBLICLY HIS/HER POINT OF VIEW REGARDING THESE TWO INVASIONS AND WARS AND NOT END UP IN JAIL. I'LL TAKE THE USA AND ALL OF ITS MANY PROBLEMS OVER ANY LIFE IN RUSSIA WHERE THE NEWS IS ALL PROPAGANDA, CORRUPTION IS UBIQUITOUS, AND WHERE A VERY, VERY FOREIGNERS/IMMIGRANTS CHOSE TO CALL HOME ..... AFTER ALL, WHO WANTS TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT YOU MIGHT SAY OR DO WHEN IT COULD LEAD TO TRUMPED UP CHARGES AND A GULAG.
Getting married - yes, sticking together for the rest of your life - no so much. Divorce rates were pretty high in the Soviet times and I think they remained so. But I do not necessarily see that as something going against family values. That is just life.
I've been to Russia a few times. I no longer live in the USA. Left 7 years ago. I love living in Mexico now. If you want to leave the USA, then do it whenever it suits you. The world in a big place.
Any reason you chose Mexico now? I'm considering moving there or setting up a home base there as the residency is easy and the location is good, but I'm not a big fan of the cities I've been to. Thinking of trying out life in Chiapas or other less developed states.

You nailed it brother. .
"and most men at my Church were also armed" You, good sir, have no idea how truly MERICAN that sounds now.
Best of luck to you my friend. Enjoy your life
In the USSR, gas, water, and electricity were almost free.

And so on.
I am speechless….you are correct, start to finish!!!
The truth will set you free….

The claim that Russia had no freedom is absurd and hinges on 2 things as far as I understand - 1) you can not spew rude statements against the government and 2) you can not run with bare naked ass out in the open. But this dollar bubble can burst at any moment. Even now, not all dollars are accepted for exchange in Russia, but only the latest series in perfect condition.

This means that after selling your home and moving to Russia, you could purchase a beautiful stone home, a large piece of land, and still have funds left over for your own business endeavors.

since 2018, the cost of housing HAS DOUBLED + times!
It is much more difficult to buy a house now.

I'm a middle-american Conservative Christian there's a lot of big families that are supporting themselves by their own business and their civilized and don't cause trouble 35 to 40 million of the population I love my country and I hate to see what's happened to it but it used to not be this way it's changed so much in the past 25 years I'm 55 so I know and I don't live in New York or the coastal cities if you haven't visited Middle America you don't know America that well.
A perfect description. I have lived in 9 countries and now in a former Soviet republic. Russians are exactly like that.
Amen!

It is facts 💯 👏 👌 😊
I’ve been three times in Russia and it was exactly what I saw and felt when I was there
Literally no one cares.
Why Americans are moving to Russia? Because they know nothing about Russia and Russians. 😂😂😂

On social security income from US you can live well in Russia not so much in US.
@@billlewandowski-e9y Russia is not a traditional society and it has 173 ethnic groups. Only 71% of the population of Russia consists of ethnic Russians. The reactionary Russian Orthodox Church was crushed by the Soviets, and it has never recovered its former popularity.

You haven't said about banking system in Russia. Which is probably the most convenient for you could ever find. You can order bank card and it will be delivered to you the next day. And then the most comfortable mobile banking app is at your disposal.
A little bit more information on the drug addiction and alcoholism problem (or non-problem) would be appreciated. The US is a complete mess in this category.
of couse we have, but I for instance have tot seen any person like you told for years, I travel a lot, I did not meet any homeless person for years in our streets. You can watch here on the website video about cities, not Moscow, may be 1000+ km from Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Tula, Grozny. Vladivostok, Petrozavodsk, Uzhnk-Sakhalinsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan and etc, just pick the name from the map.
feels like they all died 20 years ago.. no homeless cuz u cant live outside in winter
@@leeshole rent is very cheap in Russia, average Russian pay off for a new home during 4 years.during last 3 years Russia has bitten its own historical record for building new homes (including soviet times) And 40% families have 'dacha' (small summer houses with a bit of land), they are also available for rent, many of them are ok to live in winter. Statistics says that Russia has about 10 000 homeless people in sum ,in Moscow(the largest European capital) - 6000, but they live in shelters - 3-4 people in one room... Russia has almost the highest rate of home owner(thanks to the Soviet Union whe to be homeless was outlow)
It's true that there are some folks struggling with addiction and homelessness, but you're pretty unlikely to see them on the streets. Most people who've had a few too many are usually found in bars or nightclubs in the evening or at night.

In Russia much more freedom and order now than in any otger countries!
It is very different country than 10 years ago.👍 its clean, safe and cheap.
We have canadian, australian, enlish german migrants who living in Russia pretty well😉
I can understand Americans who are Orthodox ,conservative and from Russian heritage wanting to live there. It in no way is for everyone. I'm Hispanic and the weather alone is a big no!! Culturally totally different. None of the same traditions, music, art, literature, language, food, Religious holidays. It would be depressing. I live in Sonoma County California a beautiful place. Fantastic weather, charming old Town, surrounded by like minded people who are artists, farmers, friendly people. Great food, breath taking landscape and peaceful.

that was no accident
When a dissenter is brave enough to make publicly known the true political state of affairs or attempt to run for an office, that person is quite often shot in Red Square, mysteriously falling from balconies, thrown into a gulag, or poisoned with deadly nerve agents,
It's hard to ignore the fact that many Russian citizens have been so brainwashed to the point of going along with INVADING the sovereign nation of the Ukraine, murder many of its citizens, destroy much of the cities in the invaded territory, and kidnap thousands of innocent citizens living there.
