You had a bank day with that video with eight trains all in an hour's time and that's what is known as a bank day it's just a the railroad was busy and was making money
In all of your videoing have you ever seen a train with locos from different companies that had the same locomotive number? Example a CSX train with engine 8309 that also has CP 8309 in the same hookup.
I hoboed the babies all thru out the 70's when I s when I was a yonker,,,,,best years of my life,,,,went all over America, every where! Brings backs a lot of good memories svey time I see one of hear one,,,,hell I mite go again some day !
I grew up with trains since I was a child, they ran through my back yard. I have learned a lot, but not as much as you. Thank you for all you have taught me 😅
That was your best work yet well worth the time to watch I don't understand all the numbers you shot out I just enjoy watching the trains go by thank you very much.
The air dumped just as the engine was clearing the right side of the crossing. It is an unmistakable sound which I have heard many times in my railfanning of over 40 years. I counted 14 cars clearing the crossing before the train came to a stop. It goes to show you that trains do not stop on a dime. Great video from start to finish.
That was really loud to when it let go. Them brakes went in solid. It would be like you cars brakes locking up. Fortunately, they are on a track. 30 seconds from full speed to dead stopped.
Holy crap this is the most trains I’ve ever seen in a video this is my favorite video and first favorite video nice job and thanks for using your time to film all eight trains thank you very much have a great day.
Love your content. I don't understand how I can sit and watch video after video of trains and be entertained, but be unhappy each time I am stuck waiting for a train to pass at a crossing
Very nice trains! This was the best and most incredible premier tonight! Thank you for amazing 9 trains video! DPU Alright! I very much enjoyed the premier today!
Whew, I can't believe I went through the whole thing without skipping, that was a ton of train filming. Well done, Wide World of Trains, you deserve an award for most action packed train video!
Awesome video. When it rains it pours, trains that is. When a train get stop, it like gathering of the clan everything backs up and shows up. A day to remember.
Wow... you hit the jackpot for this video. Right time, right place, and all those trains lined up just perfectly for you to film them. I imagine there probably wasn't very much room left on your SD card after all that.
I like trains, I used to ride them all over the US when I younger. It never cost me a penny either. 😁 The RR crew were cool to us, they had zero problems with us riding along. I thank them for that. 💯
That was amazing to see 8 trains at one time on one track and seeing on the Other side train go by. Thanks again for another awesome video. God bless you and watch over you and keep you safe.
When the broken down train started moving again, I thought it was going the wrong way. Had to replay the start before I realised you had crossed the track and was videoing from the other side.
It took me a while to figure it out, too. But at 9:19 there is a dissolve from one recording to another, and between those two recordings is when WWOT must have crossed the tracks because the video that begins there was shot from the other side. Anyway, this is one amazing hour of video, and I learned something about how they recover a train from a failed brake air hose. Thanks!
Well dang, that's one heck of a busy trackway you captured here! Great video, nice catch. American rail, big strong, and miles long. Yippee! DPU alright!
Ace bit of filming and great info there 👍❤️ the DPU seems to be working real hard on the first freight? And going into emergency talk about being in the right place at the right time wow !!!!
Many years ago while in hospital with severely shattered femur a guy was brought into my room who just had a accident after leaving a bar while walking came to a train stopped on the tracks not wanting to wait he decided to crawl under the train and while under it the train began to move cutting off both of his legs it was then i was grateful that my leg would someday heal and get as good as it could where i would be able to walk on it some day which it did
Wow wwot the train action in Dunkirk and surrounding ares is amazing another great video I'm going to come down there to do some railfaning that 7 track crossing especially wonder as always DPU alright 👍 👌 😀
one suggestion for you to consider is the next time a fellow rail fan shows up like the person did while the train was stopped ask them if they want to appear on camera, it gives a different and another perspective rather than just hearing them talk in the background. Brian “Jawtooth” does this quite a bit and I think it adds to his videos
What a train goes into emergency on double track, the rule book says that any train on the opposite track must stop and proceed at Restricted Speed because the train that is in emergency could be derailed, and they don't want one train piling in on the wreck!!!
I think your half right, the crew of a train will go around or pass by the stopped train at restricted speed unless if the crew notifies dispatch about a derailment that piled on the opposing track (Or if there is a dangerous situation) then immediately all signals around the site go red and all trains have to stop, thats my logical explanation, could be wrong.
@@canadiannationalrailfanner2453 So, on the BNSF, if a train goes into emergency the crew is required to immediately make an emergency radio call to warn other trains in the area. Believe it or not, we're only required to traverse the area at restricted speed after hearing an emergency call if the dispatcher, or the affected crew specifically instructs everyone to. Or, if we see a lit fusee. But in any case, I don't need to stop before proceeding unless I see an obstruction. However, when I hear an emergency call on the radio, I will slow my train down well in advance of being specifically instructed to, because, well, I'm not an idiot haha. I don't need to be told to do something safely in order to do something safely.
thank you. Superb ! No wonder your arm was tired. Such a marathon. They were literally coming out of the woodwork. Your way of expressing yourself is wonderful.Such great humour and the delight in your voice as you discover something new. I know all your subscribers and viewers appreciate your fine work. And today WAS a special day, aye !!!! Best to you, always, from the land of CP ;-))

thanks for the videos
Very busy spur of tracks.
This video is truly a railfanners dream. 8 (or 9) trains in a row with the train in emergency. WOW!
a guy could spend his whole life watching trains and never encounter a day like this. excellent video.
DPU allright. Octuple train 🚂 meet. Very impressive. Septuplet is the word for seven 7️⃣.
This is probably my favorite train video you ever made well done

Wow! Full on action. Reckon this has to be the most action packed video from WWoT ever.
The BEST train video ever! Could it get any better? I DON'T THINK SO!

Maybe not "on a dime" but still pretty quick.
That was really loud to when it let go. Them brakes went in solid. It would be like you cars brakes locking up. Fortunately, they are on a track. 30 seconds from full speed to dead stopped.
@@WideWorldofTrains your theme song sounds amazing
I was surprised how quickly that train stopped
I got on the net to learn about air brakes. And to see air brakes in action is really neat!
That was awesome! 8 trains in one meet. Octuplet
