Thanks Tom, I enjoy all of your videos !!! Your humor, philosophy on life and your desire to teach others is what makes you such a great teacher. Love to run into on a river somewhere just to say thanks.

Hats off to Tom for fielding all these terrible questions (and a few good ones) after all these years. 🎩

I've always enjoyed Tom's teaching style and straightforward feedback. How refreshing to know that I am not the only one who struggles with a hair stacker! Keep the videos coming, Tom. It really is a nice break from our current reality!

    Hi Tom...
It is always so great to see you tie and your enthusiasm for the craft after all of these years!!
Like you, I have been a fly tyer and fisherman for a good long time.
Sometimes I wish we could find a talking fish to really know what fish think!! 😂😂
I do have a "trick" to possibly help with difficult fly patterns.
If you have a friend who does a good job with a pattern you don't enjoy tying, work out a deal where you trade a bunch of your flies for those your friend ties.
I don't care for tying muddler minnows. Mostly because I don't like the way my trimmed heads look. So, trade a dozen or two of my flies for them.

Thanks for these videos. They are entertaining and educational.
Also, I think Chinatown was tougher than the parachute Adams. 😁

Hey Tom and Julia; you guys are awesome. Where can we find the next shows going live? @Tom have to tell you sir, you're made for this kinda show. I am late to fly fishing at 35 years old, my father fished Stowe Vermont in the 70/80s and step grandfather is 40years fishing, an old-hand at the beats in Wiltshire (pheasant tail homeland) Hampshire and all over Scotland here in the UK, where he also runs a syndicate. Anyway I love the vids from the weeds up. You've made it possible for me and I believe tens of thousands of people who are starting out, to see there is a basic skill set and a great depth of enjoyment to be had from the entire process. Keep up the good work. Happy belated birthday Julia. Tell that kid in the background to try a DADGAD tuning for some immediate results ;)

Tom, I really love these videos--I've watched some live; but most (like this one) are after-the-fact. My question is a 'relative' one: for the smaller rivers and creeks of the east coast (I live in the Charlotte area of North Carolina), what's your favorite size for the Parachute Adams...the most useful for you?

Hi Tom, I'm just now watching your videos on UA-cam. I have a question about the tying the Adams; "Have you noticed any difference with wings vs. no wings on the Adams when fishing them." I usually tie mine without wings, and have caught fish with them. I'm just wondering if there is a noticable difference in catch rate. Thanks Tom. Tightlines.

And the static electricity has sucked the hair into the wrong end. I have to tap at an angle and pray....
